The Tungsten Core Heavy Arrow entered supersonic speeds as soon as it was shot and reached over Mach 3 in an instant, turning into a black beam shooting up into the sky.

If the target were the Heavenly King, it would likely be dodged.

But the target was a missile.

Compared to the missile, which was over a dozen ters in length and two ters in diater, the volu of the Tungsten Core Heavy Arrow was a million tis smaller. Although the missile’s velocity had already neared 20 Mach, it was like a well-rehearsed routine. The two collided head-on.

The arrow pierced through the missile’s casing and shot into it in an instant.

Light burst forth violently, and the sky a thousand ters high suddenly saw the ergence of a second sun, followed by the third, then the fourth.

A circle of white shockwaves, visible to the naked eye, spread out like lightning just a fraction of a second before the explosion.

Then, three massive fireballs blossod in the sky.

Several seconds later, the sound reached the ground.

"Boom..."

The thunderous explosion could be heard for hundreds of kiloters. Ji Xinghuo flew swiftly right below the explosion, over a kiloter away. The remnants of the explosion rely made him wobble, with no other effects.

By the ti the flas from the missile explosion had dissipated, he was already tens of kiloters away.

However, Ji Xinghuo imdiately felt a premonition of danger again.

Electromagnetic induction scanned frantically.

His gaze swept across the sky and surroundings, and his Wanxiang Star Pupil located the source of the danger, coming from straight ahead.

"There’s an interception up ahead."

Ji Xinghuo wasn’t surprised. The air defense system shared information in real-ti, and as long as the target wasn’t shot down, it would predict the target’s flight path and continue interception from the front.

Missiles, rockets, barrage networks, laser cannon emplacents, orbital cannons, and so on, all were potentials.

A black dot appeared in his field of vision.

"Surface-to-air missile."

Ji Xinghuo recognized it instantly, and within seconds, he saw more surface-to-air missiles spreading out at 180 degrees from the front, heading towards him at high speed. The velocity of the surface-to-air missiles wasn’t as fast as the hypersonic missiles, but they also had surpassed Mach 3.

And they were getting faster and more nurous.

"1,2,3...11,12,13..."

Ji Xinghuo calculated swiftly.

In total, 15 surface-to-air missiles, judging from the trajectories and distances, had been fired from three different air defense bases.

Their speeds were different, but under the control of a single system, they ford an encircling net.

Ji Xinghuo continued to fly.

Without slowing down, nor changing direction.

He grabbed a handful of Tungsten Core Heavy Arrows, and as the nearest missile ca within about 5 kiloters, he entered the Myriad Phenona state and shot the first arrow.

The bowstring vibrated nonstop, and arrows shot out one after another.

Boom!

The missiles were shot and exploded imdiately, with huge flas hundreds of ters in diater spreading out. Incoming missiles one after another exploded too; so were hit by the arrows, while others flew into the blast radius and triggered a chain reaction.

More than a dozen missiles exploded at once in low altitude, instantly creating a massive wall of fla a hundred ters high.

Ji Xinghuo surged towards the wall of flas.

It was only when he was about to enter the blast radius that he raised his altitude, crossing over the explosion from above and then descending again to resu low-altitude flight.

At a speed exceeding 2500 kiloters per hour, Ji Xinghuo dared not attempt sharp right-angle turns, his body unable to withstand the imnse inertia.

After flying for kiloters, from his left front, five tongues of fla burst forth from a mountain peak – five barrage networks. Since they were outside the range of electromagnetic induction, he didn’t detect them in advance. Just as he was about to dodge to the right, he sensed greater danger on the side.

A beam of light descended from the sky, creating a crater tens of ters in diater on the ground.

Ji Xinghuo was alard.

The South Asia Alliance’s orbital laser cannon had fired. Although its power was nowhere near that of the Crystal Elite Clan’s laser cannon and its precision and firing frequency were also much lower, the consequences would be dire if struck.

The laser cannon fired continuously, beams of light falling one after another.

In a Myriad Phenona state, Ji Xinghuo flew in smooth arcs. Though unable to turn at right angles, he didn’t slow down, and his flight path was unpredictable.

Boom boom boom boom!

The laser cannon blasted craters, but was always a step behind Ji Xinghuo.

In the anti, the barrage from the air defense emplacent on the left peak continued, tracking Ji Xinghuo like a shadow.

Luckily they were quite distant, and the projectiles’ power was greatly reduced by the ti they reached him. Those few that hit Ji Xinghuo were deflected by the Flow Barrier.

The laser cannon’s barrage did not cease.

Suddenly, Ji Xinghuo changed direction, lowering his altitude and almost skimming the ground as he flew towards the mountain where the air defense emplacent was located.

Instantly, the barrage network lost its firing line of sight and entered the range of electromagnetic induction.

As Ji Xinghuo dodged the overhead laser cannon, he scanned the state of the emplacent.

The air defense emplacent was heavily ard.

Just the surface-to-air missiles alone were stocked over a hundred, along with a Mutant army equipped with rocket packs — an entire battalion.

Ji Xinghuo approached the air defense emplacent rapidly, hugging the mountain as he flew to its peak.

The orbital laser cannon system identified its own position in real ti, imdiately ceasing fire.

Ji Xinghuo’s pressure greatly lessened.

As he flew over the emplacent, he shot an arrow and destroyed one of the barrage emplacents, simultaneously releasing an electromagnetic pulse. With the barrage network destroyed, the electromagnetic defense revealed a loophole, and the pulse instantly infiltrated the entire emplacent’s electronic systems.

The air defense position camp and weapon systems sparked everywhere, and the emplacent was paralyzed instantly.

The missiles entering the launch program all stopped.

The Mutants about to take off, their rocket packs malfunctioned, plumting down. They could only watch as Ji Xinghuo flew over their heads and disappeared into the horizon in the blink of an eye.
