She stared intently at Ji Xinghuo, a hint of wariness flickering in her eyes.
The surrounding mutants all looked on in surprise, hurriedly backing away a bit.
Ji Xinghuo himself didn’t understand what was happening. He had passed through the Star Gate many tis and had never been stopped before, so he said, "I am a citizen of the Asia-Pacific Community, on what grounds are you intercepting ?"
"We suspect you pose a significant threat to Earth," the swordswoman said expressionlessly, "Please do not resist futilely. Cooperate with our work to clear your suspicion."
A stir arose all around.
Many mutants looked at Ji Xinghuo differently and quickly retreated even further.
The description "a significant threat to Earth" imdiately made everyone think that Ji Xinghuo was an Alien Race in disguise, trying to infiltrate Earth.
Ji Xinghuo’s heart skipped a beat.
He didn’t know whether this swordswoman and the Legends on the watchtower were mbers of the Qianyuan Association, whether they were driven by the Association behind the scenes, but they had definitely set a trap for him. If he forced his way into the Star Gate, there would surely be an ambush waiting on Earth as well.
What alard him more was that his electromagnetic induction detected that the "Fla King" Qi Feiyang had also been alerted. He wasn’t showing himself but was secretly observing the situation on the square.
Even, the Heavenly Kings and Legends from other countries were also taking action.
Countless powerhouses around him cast their gazes.
"Could it be that the Qianyuan Association’s infiltration into Earth’s upper echelons has reached such an extent?" Ji Xinghuo’s face looked very troubled.
Even if only a few among them were involved with the Qianyuan Association, the situation was extrely serious.
Ji Xinghuo’s mind raced.
He took a look at the several hundred mutants around him and suddenly raised his voice, "I am Ji Xinghuo, if you have any suspicions, speak them directly!"
"Ji Xinghuo?"
"Oh my God! So he is Ji Xinghuo, the Swordsman’s boyfriend."
The mutants imdiately rembered and caused a sensation, eager to see what Zhao Manying’s boyfriend looked like in person.
"So handso, no wonder the Swordsman took a fancy to him!"
"They say he’s really strong, too."
But there were also doubts, "You believe he’s Ji Xinghuo just because he says so? He could be an Alien Race in disguise, hurry up and get away before you’re involved."
The swordswoman’s eyes flashed with a burst of light as she studied Ji Xinghuo and asked in a deep voice, "You are Zhao Manying’s boyfriend?"
"Yes, I am." Ji Xinghuo nodded.
"Words are no proof. Please co with us for review to verify your identity." The swordswoman did not stand aside, rather, her hostility toward Ji Xinghuo deepened. She waved her hand, signaling the Star Realm Army troopers to surround him.
Clearly, she was ready to use force.
"They indeed ca prepared."
In Ji Xinghuo’s electromagnetic induction, a few Legends in the barracks outside the square were ready to act, and spiritual energy waves were emitting from Qi Feiyang.
At this point, falling into their hands would make him too passive.
He had never been one to suffer in silence.
"Once I return to Earth, I will lodge a complaint with the Star Realm Departnt about your actions. This is a severe infringent on my civil rights!"
Ji Xinghuo deliberately shouted loudly, making sure the mutants around could hear him clearly.
"Arrest him!"
The swordswoman imdiately gave the order.
She drew her longsword and charged straight at Ji Xinghuo, and almost at the sa ti, several Legends from the military camp ca rushing out, encircling him from all directions, cutting off his path to the Star Gate and his escape from the square.
Boom!
A sound explosion erupted.
A wild wind swept through the square, blowing the surrounding mutants into disarray, but the Legends were unaffected, with two blocking the front of the Star Gate.
Ji Xinghuo instantly flew towards the two Legends, colliding with them directly, his speed so fast they couldn’t react in ti.
Just as they thought Ji Xinghuo was going to break through them to enter the Star Gate, Ji Xinghuo suddenly changed direction, flying out in a bizarre trajectory, going beyond the Asia-Pacific Community’s three-sector area into the neighboring zone, and then turning again to fly into the Star Gate.
Ji Xinghuo’s figure disappeared.
The mont he entered the Star Gate, a blazing red figure appeared on the square. A huge amount of spiritual energy poured out like a fire cloud overhead, suffocating those below.
Qi Feiyang’s expression looked terrible, the swordswoman, and the few Legends also looked at each other in confusion.
"Chairman Qi."
The swordswoman asked, "Should we pursue?"
"No need." Qi Feiyang shook his head, "He entered ’Bhopal Star Gate’. The diplomatic relations between the South Asia Alliance and us are very poor. Don’t stir up more trouble; report this matter to the Star Realm Departnt imdiately."
"Understood." The swordswoman left with her subordinates.
"This person..." Qi Feiyang stroked his chin, pondering over Ji Xinghuo’s flight trajectory, his eyes revealing a hint of surprise.
On the other side.
Ji Xinghuo saw space distortion before his eyes, and before he could regain his footing upon recovering his vision, he heard a series of screams.
Accompanied by the dense sound of gunfire, bullets and beams of laser rain down on him.
A man nearly three ters tall, his massive body clad in heavy armor, brandishing a huge long spear, charged forward with incredible speed. His footsteps, as heavy as thunder, shook the ground with overwhelming montum, as unstoppable as a charging train.
"The Giant Spirit General, Heavenly King!"
Just by glancing at the opponent, Ji Xinghuo’s heart tensed up.
