After another two minutes, Ji Xinghuo’s speed had surpassed 340 ters per second.
If this were on Earth, he would have broken the sound barrier by now!
And he was still accelerating.
Ji Xinghuo’s mind was highly focused, and about three minutes later, his flying speed reached 500 ters per second, that is, an hourly speed of 1800 kiloters.
Clouds and the ground swept past rapidly, and the scenery in his view twisted.

Air exploded within a several dozen ter radius, creating a thunderous roar.
Ji Xinghuo hovered in the sky, looking back to see that he had decelerated from over 1800 kiloters per hour to a standstill in less than a hundred ters, which was nothing short of miraculous.
Of course, his body had also endured a fierce inertial impact, and he felt as though he might fall apart from the aches all over.

The upgrade from First Level acceleration required 3331 Ability points, quickly rising to Second Level, turning into (Second Level 1/21211).
"Acceleration really is different," Ji Xinghuo shook his head, the required Spiritual Origin Ability for upgrading was much higher than for other Abilities. He didn’t hesitate and upgraded acceleration to (Third Level 1/127321).
"Third Level, and it requires this much Spiritual Origin Ability!"
Ji Xinghuo was shocked.
But Third Level acceleration should be fast enough.
An explosive sound wave spread through the air as Ji Xinghuo instantly reached peak velocity and madly accelerated.
The acceleration at Third Level was obviously much quicker.
Less Star Power was consud, and his body’s overcoming of inertia was more apparent. Ji Xinghuo reached 500 ters per second in just over a minute, with minimal Star Power depletion, only succumbing at 700 ters per second.
Having tested his speed limit, Ji Xinghuo then decelerated.
After so trial and error, he found that he could sustain a cruising speed of just over 220 ters per second, equivalent to a speed of 800 kiloters per hour!
He could maintain this flying speed indefinitely.
Back on Earth, he could easily break the sound barrier; although the consumption of Star Power would increase, he could still sustain it for about an hour!
"Ha ha ha..."
Ji Xinghuo laughed heartily, racing back to Sky Falling Cliff.
He visited the Chie Han Qiu and proposed buying 30 portions of "Ether Refining Solvent" at a higher price. Normally, a person could only purchase three portions per Star Realm Year, but Han Qiu, in consideration of the Void Spirit Guest, agreed to his request.
That very day, Ji Xinghuo left Sky Falling Cliff and flew east.
In half a day, he had flown out of the Bloody Plateau and into the Thousand Peak Abyss Forest. There he slowed down slightly to avoid startling the Winged People of the Sky Feather Royal Court.
The next morning.
After a night’s flight, Ji Xinghuo gazed toward the horizon in the distance. Using Wanxiang Star Pupil to zoom in his view, he saw a familiar grand city from hundreds of kiloters away.
Olympia had arrived!
