Ji Xinghuo stood on a hillside, within the refraction zone, gazing ahead at a Highlander Tribe nestled among the mountains.
"Late again!"
He scratched his thick beard, his face weary and filled with helplessness.
Three days earlier, the communicator had received a ssage from the chieftain of Han Qiu, saying that two Highlander Tribes had erupted in war. He had traveled day and night at the fastest speed, but when he arrived, he found that the war had already ended.
And, it was the second ti.
The last ti, ten days ago, when Ji Xinghuo had arrived, he only saw the victorious side tidying up the battlefield, burning the corpses of their enemies.
Missing the war twice in a row made him realize a problem.
The Bloody Plateau was too vast.
Communication was also very slow; even though the chieftain of Han Qiu sent the ssage imdiately, it had been delayed by many days before the chieftain himself had received it.
Wars broke out frequently on the plateau, daily, but most were not particularly large in scale.
Like the last war between the Blood Fury Tribe and the Slaughter Fla Tribe, because of its large scale, both sides needed to mobilize and prepare, even hiring alien races, thus there was enough ti to transmit the information and arrive at the battlefield in ti to harness Spiritual Origin Ability.
The Blood Fury Tribe’s battle had been a rare event in years.
The smaller the scale of the war, the quicker it burst and ended. Sotis, by the ti the ssage reached Sky Falling Cliff, it was already over.
Ji Xinghuo summarized two reasons.
One was that the transmission of ssages was too slow, which was beyond his control.
The other was his own slow traveling speed.
The forr was the main reason.
As for the latter, even if he let Qing Hong exert its full strength to run at top speed, then shrink down to rest on him when it beca tired and he took over running, it still wouldn’t necessarily allow him to arrive in ti.

Such Star Gate cities were eight in the Thousand Peak Abyss Forest, and even more, as many as over twenty, on the Bloody Plateau.
Since leaving Sky Falling Cliff, Ji Xinghuo had also passed through two to three Star Gate cities, but just as Earthlings do not allow alien races to enter Olympia, each Star Gate city was heavily defended, strongly forbidding any alien races from approaching, completely xenophobic.
In the Star Realm, recklessly approaching a Star Gate of an alien species was very dangerous.
Ji Xinghuo had always steered clear.
However, Eternal Day City was a different kind of Star Gate city; it welcod all races, inviting any alien species to enter.
The founders of Eternal Day City were the "Crystal Elite Clan."
This alien species was very unique, considered strange among the many alien species, as they were a rare silicon-based life form.
Strictly speaking, the Crystal Elite Clan was non-carbon-based life.
Relative to humans, the lifespan of the Crystal Elite clan was almost infinite; by Earth’s calendar, their history spanned a million years and had been in the Star Realm for over seventy thousand years!
Even across the entire True Dragon Star Domain and Orion Arm, the Crystal Elite Clan was one of the oldest species, considered a living fossil of civilization.
Naturally, the strength of the Crystal Elite Clan was very formidable.
This was also why they dared to keep Eternal Day City open to alien races.
On the Bloody Plateau, there were two largest cities: one was in the southwest at the Red Emperor Blood Mountain, the Slaughter Fla Tribe and the other was Eternal Day City in the center of the plateau. On Earth, among the many known Star Realm alien races and alien species, the Crystal Elite Clan was, besides the True Dragons and Winged People, the most talked about and the most mysterious.
This was a silicon-based life form; a life form that had existed only in science fiction before the Star Gate opened!
He rested for the night.
The next day, Ji Xinghuo’s physical fitness and Star Power had recovered, and Qing Hong was also spirited, carrying him as he ran west.
The central part of the Bloody Plateau had a higher elevation than the east, with more rugged mountains, continuous and with extre topographical variations. Often, they had to travel up and down long distances on a stretch of road, and to save ti, Ji Xinghuo frequently carried Qing Hong on his body, simply flying past.
