Whoosh!

An invisible titanium alloy arrow flew out.

The Elite Stone Scythe Demon drinking by the river suddenly had its head burst open, the arrow penetrating through and also killing another Stone Scythe Demon behind it.

The group of monsters was stunned for a second, then pandemonium ensued.

But they couldn’t find the source of the attack, and as one Stone Scythe Demon after another was shot through the head, they scattered like headless flies.

So Stone Scythe Demons even fled in the direction of the large tree where Ji Xinghuo was, but he temporarily ignored them, instead prioritizing targets in other directions. Arrow after arrow flew out, and no matter how nimbly and swiftly the Stone Scythe Demons fled, they could not escape from being blown away with a single shot.

From afar to near, the Stone Scythe Demons continually fell down, turning into corpses.

Spiritual Origin Ability 2

Spiritual Origin Ability 3

Ji Xinghuo’s interface opened in his field of vision, and the numbers kept rising.

By the ti he had shot the last Stone Scythe Demon that ran under the tree, he had harvested over 30 points of Spiritual Origin Ability, and the entire group of monsters had been killed.

Looking at the Invisible Stab in his hand, he felt it was a bit of an overkill for the task.

"Haven’t used a bow and arrow for hunting in over half a year, yet not only has my skill not rusted, it even feels like it has improved sowhat."

Ji Xinghuo nodded in satisfaction.

He glided down from the tree, touching the corpses of the Stone Scythe Demons one by one, checking the information, most of them were typical Traits of the Alien Species such as "Rock Skin," "Violent Jump," and "Toughness."

They weren’t very valuable.

But Ji Xinghuo wasn’t picky, spending about ten minutes to collect all the Alien Species, stuffing them into his Dinsion Stomach.

"Still worth over two hundred thousand, even a mosquito’s leg is at."

"Every little bit adds up."

He hadn’t forgotten that he still owed a debt of five billion; entering the Star Realm this trip, finding expansion artifacts was the primary task, followed by Spiritual Origin Ability, and the third was making money!

The three goals didn’t conflict, and sotis they coincided.

Qing Hong landed and grew larger.

Ji Xinghuo jumped onto it and continued to speed through the Peak Valley.

Electromagnetic Induction spread out, integrated with the Electrostatic Field, expanding the sensory radius to about three thousand ters; within this range, his Perception of things beca more detailed and specific, though still rather abstract in his mind, but he was used to this way of perceiving the world.

On the contrary, he now felt this was closer to the essence of things.

On the way west.

Before long, Ji Xinghuo spotted another group of Stone Scythe Demons and casually harvested another wave of Spiritual Origin Ability, adding over 20 points.

Progressing through the Peak Valley for half a day, he noticed a phenonon.

The number of Stone Scythe Demons had increased!

"Strange."

Ji Xinghuo pondered in his mind. The breeding period of Stone Scythe Demons was quite long. Although they had difficulty reproducing, and it took two to three Earth years to mature, and then another three to five years before they had a chance to evolve into monsters, the awakening probability within their groups was not considered high.

In this region of Peak Valley, he had been here the year before last.

At that ti, after hunting for several months, he had cleared the nearby Stone Scythe Demon groups, so why had a new group appeared so quickly?

And their numbers in a group were clearly more, at least half of them had more than twenty mbers.

"Did they migrate from other places?"

Ji Xinghuo wasn’t quite sure.

At nightfall.

Qing Hong had already run to the very center of Peak Valley. It was just the first day, and Ji Xinghuo had already exterminated four Stone Scythe Demon groups, harvesting over 100 points of Spiritual Origin Ability, with efficiency extrely high, not much less than killing the Beiluo Shin Clan on the Star Realm Frontline, and it was quite safe.

He was sowhat tempted, not really wanting to leave right away.

"Set up camp first."

On a platform in the middle of a sheer cliff, hundreds of ters above the ground, Ji Xinghuo pitched his tent. This spot was very safe, unless capable of flying, general monsters couldn’t reach here.

After feeding Qing Hong, he ate so dry food himself and then lay down in the tent to sleep.

The latter half of the night turned into Star Night.

Ji Xinghuo suddenly opened his eyes while dreaming, with Qing Hong, curled up in a corner of the tent, also raised its head and looked in a direction outside.

"Woo woo roar!"

A roar ca from a distance, it was the call of a Stone Scythe Demon.

Ji Xinghuo climbed out of the tent, under the Star Night, the "Silver Glow" sprinkled across the quiet valleys of Peak Valley, as if painting the mountains and canyons with a layer of silver light.

The direction of the roar was blocked by a mountain peak, and the range of electromagnetic induction wasn’t sufficient.

"Woo woo roar..."

Every few minutes, a roar ca through, but it got farther and farther away, gradually becoming a bit unclear.

Ji Xinghuo pondered and then decided to follow it.

He quickly packed up his tent and sleeping bag into the Dinsion Stomach, jumped onto Qing Hong’s back, squeezed his legs tight, and Qing Hong imdiately climbed down the cliff, landing afterward, and chased in the direction from where the roars had co. In less than five minutes, a group of Stone Scythe Demons entered the range of his electromagnetic induction.

"Slow down."

Ji Xinghuo whispered, and Qing Hong imdiately slowed down.

It crouched low, using the terrain and trees as cover, slowly following behind the group of Stone Scythe Demons.

This group of Stone Scythe Demons was on the move.

In Ji Xinghuo’s electromagnetic induction, he discovered a Superior Level Stone Scythe Demon, large in size, over two ters tall, with four arms thick as columns.

It ran at the forefront, followed by more than fifty Stone Scythe Demons.

This was a very large monster group.

"Where are they going?"

Ji Xinghuo was curious in his heart and then thought of a possibility.

The place where the Stone Scythe Giant Demon was found the year before last wasn’t far from here, at that ti, that Flood Level Stone Scythe Giant Demon led over a thousand subordinates in the night to encircle prey.

However, this ti it seed sowhat different.

Ji Xinghuo followed from a distance as the group of Stone Scythe Demons roared along the way, apparently calling for their kind. Gradually, other groups joined in, and their numbers increased to over two hundred. Among them, there were four Superior-level Stone Scythe Demons and more than twenty Elite-level, with the rest being ordinary monsters.

"If only I could eliminate them all..."

Gazing at the large group of monsters from afar, Ji Xinghuo felt a pang of desire.

With his current strength, coupled with Qing Hong, as long as the tactics were proper, it wasn’t impossible to annihilate this group of Stone Scythe Demons.

"Wait a bit longer, let’s see how things go first," he said.

Having tracked them for over a hundred kiloters, this group of Stone Scythe Demons joined another large group, forming a horde exceeding five hundred.

Ji Xinghuo’s pupils constricted.

The leader of these Stone Scythe Demons was very conspicuous, actually a Stone Scythe Giant Demon!

But it clearly wasn’t the sa one he had seen the year before last. This one was a bit smaller, about four ters tall, leading a community half the size of the earlier group.

This Stone Scythe Giant Demon was obviously younger.

But it was also a Flood-level monster!

Ji Xinghuo sensed through electromagnetic induction that its magnetic field strength was inferior to the Nile Giant Lizard; it seed it hadn’t been long since its evolution into a Catastrophe-level monster.

Its body bore many large scars, clearly the rough work of claws. Although healed, they showed it had suffered severe injuries. Especially one scar that stretched from its face to its neck, almost severing its head.

This made it appear even more ferocious, its crimson eyes possessing a hint of sentient wisdom.

Ji Xinghuo sensed danger.

Instinct told him this Stone Scythe Giant Demon was not to be trifled with.

"Woo woo-hoo-hoo..."

The Stone Scythe Giant Demon leaped onto a boulder, with other Stone Scythe Demons encircling it, dancing and continually making noises above it.

It was communicating with its subjects in a way humans could not understand.

After a barrage of roars and body language, more than five hundred Stone Scythe Demons joined in the frenzied shouting, their blood fervor aroused, the atmosphere imnsely intense.

Ji Xinghuo watched, dumbfounded.

This was just like a multi-level marketing rally. Unexpectedly, even monsters had learned to boost morale.

"Roar!"

At the command of the Stone Scythe Giant Demon, more than five hundred monsters began to gallantly run through Peak Valley, like an army on the move.

Ji Xinghuo roughly guessed the ins and outs of the situation.

Monts later.

When he followed the Stone Scythe Demons into a canyon, the terrain was narrow like a trench with steep cliffs on both sides, difficult to climb. The canyon’s width spanned several hundred ters, and as the group of Stone Scythe Demons entered from one end, even more appeared from the other.

Like two armies eting on a narrow road, both sides halted about two hundred ters apart.

At this mont, Ji Xinghuo had climbed onto one side of the cliff and lay on the edge, watching the situation below in the canyon.

Two Stone Scythe Giant Demons faced each other.

One was the newly encountered one, and the other was an "old acquaintance," the very Stone Scythe Giant Demon he had t the year before last.

Its massive, over five-ter-tall body looked sculpted from rock, similarly scarred.

Its strength was stronger, and it was older.

But it had lost an eye, and its right eye seed to have been forcibly removed.

Moreover, Ji Xinghuo noticed that the number of Stone Scythe Demons behind it had decreased; previously over a thousand, now only six or seven hundred remained.

Either they had been killed, or they had defected to the young Stone Scythe Giant Demon’s faction.

"Interesting!" Ji Xinghuo muttered to himself.

A single mountain cannot house two tigers, and this principle also applies to the creatures of the Star Realm.

The young Stone Scythe Giant Demon, freshly evolved into a Catastrophe-level monster, eagerly challenged the elderly leader, vying for territory and followers, a common occurrence in the animal kingdom. Only after deciding a victor and crowning a new king would this brutal struggle end.

"Roar!"

Both Stone Scythe Giant Demons roared simultaneously, their four arms pounding their chests, generating a thunderous noise.

Without any communication, they imdiately lunged at each other.

Bang!

The two colossal beings collided brutally, their eight arms entwined and swinging, their claws frantically striking at each other, blood flying.

The canyon floor trembled, and roars echoed continuously.

Both sides’ Stone Scythe Demons shouted and grew restless, so with bloodshot eyes, ready to jump into the fray.

Debris flew and dust covered the vegetation.

Ji Xinghuo’s gaze was fixed on the two battling Stone Scythe Giant Demons. Their defense powers were incredibly robust, and their healing powers were astonishingly rapid; wounds inflicted by claws healed at a visible rate, seemingly with endless energy.

"Basalt Body and Earth Pulse!" he couldn’t help but shake his head.

He had previously hunted a Superior-level Stone Scythe Giant Demon and obtained an Alien Species from it.

The latter was precisely the Transcendent Species that Chi Zhonglin longed for.

Earth Pulse was also the template core of "Earthwalker," possessing strong vibrational tactile sense, perceiving changes through ground vibrations, and when standing on the ground, it augnted strength, drew energy from the earth to restore stamina and heal injuries, almost never tiring.

The two Stone Scythe Giant Demons seed to be fighting desperately, but the gap in their abilities did not widen substantially.

It was difficult for them to kill each other.

The canyon floor in this section had long been leveled, bereft of any vegetation, evidently, they had fought here countless tis.

Ji Xinghuo made no hasty moves.

This fight, from Star Night till dawn, with both sides’ aiding Stone Scythe Demons having shouted half the night, both were exhausted.

Yet, the two Stone Scythe Giant Demons were still vigorous, biting, clawing, and roaring incessantly.

As the first rays of golden sunlight shone into the canyon, they seed to have reached an understanding and suddenly separated.

Then, each leading their group of Stone Scythe Demons, they withdrew from the canyon.

Atop the cliff, Ji Xinghuo stood up watching the retreating horde of monsters and stroking his chin, his face revealing a thoughtful expression.

"Since you can’t settle the score between yourselves, I’ll just be a good Samaritan and lend a hand," he silently said.
