The three warships, initially just three small dots, were now approaching at an incredible speed.

The warships stood tens of zhang tall and stretched over a hundred zhang long, their entire bodies gleaming with a tallic luster, with enormous wings flanking both sides.

Each ti the ship wings flapped, the ship shot forward across the water like an unstoppable arrow.

At the bow of each warship, massive flags were raised high, embroidered respectively with the symbols of the Luoxia Sect, Fierce Cloud Sect, and Xuanyuan Sect!

The Fierce Cloud Sect warship was the first to dock.

A burly middle-aged man stepped to the ship’s bow, scanning the crowd onshore with a piercing gaze, and declared in a loud voice:

"Those seeking to join the Fierce Cloud Sect, under sixteen years old and with cultivation reaching the Late Stage of the Body Tempering Realm, proceed aboard quickly!"

Though his voice wasn’t particularly loud, it carried an essence energy that rolled forth like thunder, echoing in the ears of everyone present on the shore.

As his words landed, a luminous screen ascended from the gangway.

The young n and won eager to undergo the Fierce Cloud Sect’s assessnt rapidly lined up to board the ship.

Many of them succeeded in passing through the screen and boarding the warship.

Others, however, were stopped by the screen, unable to enter.

The ones blocked by the screen were those over sixteen years old or those whose cultivation hadn’t reached the Late Body Tempering Stage—they failed to et the entry requirents.

At that mont, several figures erged beside the burly middle-aged man.

Luo Cheng narrowed his eyes imdiately, his gaze icy cold.

The young man standing at the left of the burly middle-aged man was none other than Sun Chuanwu, one of the top ten disciples of the Fierce Cloud Sect’s outer sect!

Sun Chuanwu happened to glance over, noticing Luo Cheng, and a disdainful smirk played across his lips.

"What’s wrong, Senior Brother Sun?"

A nearby disciple of the Fierce Cloud Sect asked.

"Nothing, just saw so trash, that’s all."

Sun Chuanwu shook his head and withdrew his gaze.

A re waste who awakened a useless martial soul wasn’t even worth his attention—unqualified even to enter his sight!

Soon, the other two warships also docked.

"Those seeking to enter the Luoxia Sect, under sixteen years old and with cultivation reaching the Late Body Tempering Stage, proceed aboard quickly!"

A beautiful woman appeared at the bow of the Luoxia Sect warship, her voice as clear as jade beads falling on a platter.

"Those intending to join our Xuanyuan Sect, board swiftly!"

An elderly man, clad in black robes with hair and beard as white as frost, stood at the bow of the Xuanyuan Sect warship.

Instantly, the tens of thousands at the dock divided into three streams, each surging toward a different warship.

Luo Cheng successfully passed through the screen and boarded the Xuanyuan Sect warship.

Once everyone had boarded, the elderly man in black robes floated into the air, his voice booming:

"The ship will depart in one quarter of an hour. During this ti, no disturbances or private battles are allowed—violators will face the consequences themselves!"

"There are rest chambers in the ship’s cabin. You may enter and take your ti to rest, preparing for tomorrow’s trial and assessnt."

Upon hearing this, everyone began to enter the cabin one after another.

Luo Cheng suddenly felt several chilling gazes on him. He turned to look.

Not far away, Qin Yuanfeng and Lu Yan stood together, accompanied by the noblewoman Hua Junzhu.

Lu Yan walked over, sneering coldly, "Brat, I didn’t expect you’d participate in the Xuanyuan Sect’s assessnt too. Looks like fate keeps pulling us together!"

Luo Cheng couldn’t be bothered to respond and turned to walk away.

Given the rules forbidding physical altercations on the ship, even if it were allowed, he wouldn’t be intimidated.

Seeing Luo Cheng’s dismissive attitude, Lu Yan’s expression imdiately darkened, his fists clenching tightly. "You insolent fool! You dare enrage !"

Qin Yuanfeng glanced at Luo Cheng briefly and said indifferently, "Let’s go, it’s ti for us to rest."

"Hmph, let him enjoy his arrogance for a couple more days!"

The three of them entered the cabin.

A quarter of an hour later, with the ship wings flapping, the warship soared across the vast expanse of Luoyan River like a gliding bird.

Despite moving at incredible speed, Luo Cheng stood on the deck without feeling the slightest airflow.

At the bow of the ship, a massive azure-colored light screen enveloped the entire vessel, shielding it from the impact of air currents.

Otherwise, at such speed, even martial artists at the Third Stage of Tongxuan Realm would be instantly swept away.

"The re value of this ship alone probably surpasses the combined wealth of the three great families of Qishan City."

Luo Cheng’s thoughts wandered as he suddenly rembered—today was the fifteenth day of September.

September fifteenth was the day Yun ngli would challenge Yuan Qingying, one of Xuanyuan Sect’s ten true disciples.

"Sha I can’t witness that battle."

Luo Cheng felt a pang of regret.

An arena where talents clashed would certainly promise an exhilarating spectacle!

As for the outco of this clash, Luo Cheng’s opinion differed from most others.

Yun ngli was not a reckless person. Since she dared to issue the challenge, she must have absolute confidence.

Whether this assumption was correct or not would be revealed soon enough.

After admiring the scenery for a while, Luo Cheng turned back and entered the cabin.

Inside the cabin, there were many separate rooms. Luo Cheng chose one at random and shut the door behind him.

The furnishings were simple, with only a bed and a table.

Luo Cheng sat cross-legged on the bed and took out the Yunzang Pill.

The journey to Xuanyuan Sect spanned over a hundred thousand li, and the warship would take more than a day to arrive.

Luo Cheng planned to take advantage of the ti to break through to the Third Layer of the Transcendence Realm!

The Yunzang Pill was a purple-gold hue; upon closer inspection, its surface revealed intricate patterns resembling veins, emanating an air of mystery.

Just as Luo Cheng prepared to consu the pill, a thought occurred to him: the Nine-colored Scale could refine spiritual dicines—perhaps it could also refine spirit pills.

With this in mind, Luo Cheng summoned the Nine-colored Scale, holding the Yunzang Pill in his palm.

Buzz!

The Nine-colored Mysterious Light radiated and ford a vortex, swallowing the Yunzang Pill entirely.

Instantly, the pill emitted crackling sounds, its surface splitting into countless crevices.

"I hope nothing goes wrong!"

Luo Cheng felt a surge of anxiety.

This single Yunzang Pill was worth tens of thousands of silver—it was no small sum.

Ti ticked by, and when all was calm again, a new spirit pill erged in Luo Cheng’s palm.

The Yunzang Pill had shrunk by nearly a third, its surface now radiating a dazzling purple-gold light with clearer vein-like patterns, brimming with mystical energy.

"It worked!"

Luo Cheng was overjoyed and, without hesitation, consud the pill.

Imdiately, a fiery energy spread from his abdon to his five viscera and six bowels, making him feel as though his entire body was being forged in flas.

Luo Cheng didn’t dare delay and quickly closed his eyes, beginning to circulate the True Dragon Technique.

With each cycle of movent, he could feel his internal organs quivering, as if they were undergoing a transformation of rebirth.

He didn’t know how much ti passed.

Buzz!

A strange ripple emanated from within Luo Cheng’s body, faintly accompanied by the sound of dragon roars.

Luo Cheng opened his eyes and slowly exhaled a breath of turbid air.

"It went even smoother than I imagined! There wasn’t even the slightest obstacle!"

At this mont, Luo Cheng’s breathing was deep and steady; a single exhalation was several tis stronger than before.

This was a sign of essence energy fortifying the organs, making them as solid as iron!

He had successfully ascended to the Third Layer of the Transcendence Realm!

Not only had his physique greatly improved, but his endurance had also beco far more robust—while running, even a swift horse wouldn’t be able to keep up with him!

"Let’s test my strength now!"

Luo Cheng stood up and threw a punch with all his might.

Bang!

The air in the room trembled from the impact, producing a sharp cracking sound like the explosion of a cannonball.

Luo Cheng’s gaze sharpened as he drew his teor Sword, casually slashing through the air.

Shhhh...

The sword light flowed, creating a cascade of airborne sword blossoms—a dazzling display that left no room for comprehension!

"This... My strength must have exceeded ten thousand jin!"
