Whoosh!

As that ethereal voice faded, the western sky suddenly tore apart as streaks of glowing light split the clouds, revealing a group of n and won erging steadily.

These individuals, draped in radiant hues, were surrounded by halos of light. Their auras surged into the heavens—illusive and enigmatic, yet each carried a distinctly unique temperant.

So exuded an untad arrogance, suffused with murderous intent; others bore serene smiles, calm as an idle cloud; there was one with a physique akin to a human fortress, resembling a walking fierce beast; and another, expressionless and icy, radiating cold ruthlessness.

Each one emitted an overwhelming, unmatched aura of power.

Luo Cheng instinctively realized that any one of these figures greatly surpassed the Eighth Prince Jin Min in strength. Even their commanding presence alone was impossible to disregard!

Among them, the one who drew the most attention was a young man at the forefront, dressed in elaborate attire.

The youth appeared just over twenty, adorned with a Star Crown. His face was as flawless as jade, and his eyes sparkled like celestial stars, dazzling and profound.

Though his gaze was lowered and there was no dazzling radiance about him, he looked just like a distinguished noble gentleman. Yet every subtle movent exuded an ineffable, magnetic charm that rendered him utterly impossible to ignore.

He had an air of returning to pure simplicity.

The mont he appeared, he beca the focus of all attention.

His identity was self-evident.

The foremost Inner Sect Disciple of the Xuanyuan Sect! The leader of the Crown Prince Hall! The True Disciple, Nangong Jue!

"Greetings, Senior Brother Nangong!"

The mont Nangong Jue appeared, all of the Crown Prince Hall disciples present stood up, bowed their heads deeply, and saluted, exhibiting unparalleled reverence.

Even the Elders dared not et his gaze.

Luo Cheng was profoundly shocked.

Not solely because of the authority emanated by Nangong Jue, but also due to the vast, unfathomable aura he carried.

Luo Cheng was certain that if the other party released all his power, he could crush him to dust in an instant!

This was the might of a True Disciple.

The innermost power of the sect!

Each one had surpassed the Awakening Vein Realm, commanding winds and storms, wielding unparalleled authority over life and death!

To beco a True Disciple, one must first ascend to the rank of Inner Sect Disciple, then to Core Disciple, achieve perfection across nine Xuan Veins, break through the Four Extres Xuan Gate, and transcend the Awakening Vein Realm to even qualify to challenge a True Disciple!

If one could defeat the True Disciple, they could take their place!

It sounded straightforward, but the journey was infinitely daunting.

The Ten True Disciples were the ten strongest among the Inner Sect Disciples, each a prodigy among prodigies, with unfathomable strength. They wielded Nine-star Martial Souls, so even possessed Spirit Martial Souls—defeating them was no easy feat.

In the past decade, only Yun ngli successfully challenged Yuan Qingying.

She alone stood as the sole newly proclaid True Disciple of the Xuanyuan Sect within ten years!

Whoosh!

Under the gaze of all, Nangong Jue descended upon the scene.

"Nangong Jue..."

Seeing Nangong Jue, the Eighth Prince Jin Min’s wariness dissolved instantly. He stepped forward quickly, his gaze cold and sinister as it locked onto Luo Cheng. "This man..."

Nangong Jue raised his hand to silence him and instead turned his attention to Luo Cheng. "You’re Luo Cheng?"

Luo Cheng’s heart tightened.

To be honest, he never expected Nangong Jue to notice him.

The other was a high-ranking young powerhouse, a towering True Disciple of the sect’s pinnacle.

Currently, Luo Cheng was at best rely a freshly promoted Inner Sect Disciple who had just entered the Awakening Vein Realm.

The disparity in their statuses and strengths was beyond asure—a vast chasm impossible to reconcile.

"I am."

Taking a deep breath, Luo Cheng nodded neither humbly nor arrogantly.

Supre Elder Qingkui spoke coldly, "Nangong Jue, what business do you have here?"

"I wouldn’t have co personally unless I had a reason."

Taking a step forward, Nangong Jue blocked Supre Elder Qingkui from escorting Luo Cheng away. His gaze returned to Luo Cheng, abruptly turning icy and severe.

"Luo Cheng, do you know your cri?"

His detached tone, each word, bood like a thunderous explosion.

Everyone present felt the unfathomable power of this young leader and True Disciple imposing its dominion.

Luo Cheng bore the brunt of it. He felt an overwhelming force crashing toward him like a mountain, shaking his spirit. His face paled as if every word spoken by the other carried the weight of a mountain, pressing him down to submit, to kneel and listen!

He took a deep breath and forced himself to stand upright.

"I did nothing wrong. Why would I admit to guilt?"

Even Supre Elder Qingkui’s expression darkened slightly as he stated indifferently:

"Nangong Jue, Luo Cheng and Qin Douyuan engaged in a life-and-death duel, mutually consented. He has committed no offense."

"No offense, you say?"

Nangong Jue cast Luo Cheng a sidelong glance, sneered coldly, and declared aloud:

"Bring them in."

At his command, a group of Inner Sect Disciples filed in, carrying several bloodied individuals into the room.

Luo Cheng’s brow furrowed.

Those brought in were none other than Yu Zonghui, Han Yu, and a few others!

Among them were even the Elder Wen and others whom he had crippled earlier in the servant disciple area.

An Inner Sect Disciple pointed at Luo Cheng, reporting in a deep voice, "Senior Brother Nangong, these were all injured by Luo Cheng!"

Gasps swept through the crowd.

Many did not expect that Luo Cheng, having just returned to the sect, would already have caused such a stir!

Not only did he kill Qin Douyuan, but he also injured and crippled so many, including three Elders!

"Injuring others within the sect, and such severe thods at that! Luo Cheng is in deep trouble this ti."

"Indeed, Senior Brother Nangong clearly intends to make an example of him."

Many murmured in low voices, convinced that Luo Cheng was either dood or would suffer imnse repercussions. Even Supre Elder Qingkui might not be able to shield him.

Gu Lingfeng and Yuan Zhilan both turned pale. Though they wished to speak in Luo Cheng’s defense, Nangong Jue’s overwhelming aura left them utterly cowed, unable to even approach—each breath required imnse effort!

"Luo Cheng, as a re Outer Disciple, you dared to defy hierarchy, injuring Elders, trespassing in the Inner Sect, and assaulting others with such brutality! Flaunting so minor strength, you parade around arrogantly. If everyone were like you, how would the Xuanyuan Sect differ from bands of bandits or heretical sects?"

Nangong Jue fixed a deathly glare on Luo Cheng as he spoke with an air of righteous grandeur. His gaze was sharp like lightning. "Now that the evidence and witnesses are here, what do you have to say for yourself?"

Even Supre Elder Qingkui was montarily at a loss. He had not expected Luo Cheng to stir up so much trouble upon his return, leaving him unsure how to respond.

The Eighth Prince Jin Min grinned coldly and said:

"According to sect rules, for an Outer Disciple to flout hierarchy and maim others within the sect, they are to have their cultivation abolished and be expelled!"

Within Luo Cheng’s Sea of Consciousness, golden waves roared, resisting the oppressive aura. He maintained an even expression as he calmly t Nangong Jue’s gaze, saying:

"It’s true that I injured them. However, I’d like to ask—if soone offended the dignity of Senior Brother Nangong, what would you do?"

Nangong Jue replied indifferently, "There is a natural order—those who know no rank will not be spared."

Luo Cheng smiled. "In that case, Senior Brother Nangong presuming guilty so hastily seems sowhat arbitrary."

The room fell silent as those present exchanged glances, astonished beyond words. Audible gasps rippled throughout, one after another!

Even Supre Elder Qingkui’s gaze flickered montarily.

Nangong Jue’s status was unmistakable!

Luo Cheng’s position was equally apparent!

Yet he dared to defy Nangong Jue’s authority so openly!

"How dare you! Who do you think you are to accuse Senior Brother Nangong of being arbitrary? Courting death!"

An enraged Inner Sect Disciple of Crown Prince Hall stepped forward aggressively.

Hehe!

Nangong Jue locked his gaze on Luo Cheng, a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes:

"Arbitrary? Unless you can give a valid explanation today, I will descend from my station to personally punish you!"

As Nangong Jue’s voice echoed, an icy chill swept across the entire plaza. Everyone felt an overwhelming suffocating pressure that made their very souls tremble!
