By the ti they returned to Tianhe from Biancheng Longhu Villa, it was already past three in the afternoon.
The two Elder Zhu and Elder Bai went back to the company to deal with business matters.
Ye Fei was dropped off by the driver to pick up his daughter from kindergarten.

The entire park was surrounded by construction barriers.

A few guys wearing construction helts approached them aggressively when they saw the intruders.
Ye Fei pulled his daughter behind him and asked, "Excuse , is the park undergoing construction?"
"Construction or not, what’s it to you? Does it concern you? It’s a construction site, no loitering! Get out now!"
Seeing how impolite these people were, Ye Fei instantly frowned.
"I’m a local resident. Don’t I have the right to know a bit of what’s going on?"
The foreman sneered coldly, "Just so ordinary Joe, what rights do you have?"
"What did you say?" Ye Fei’s eyes imdiately narrowed in anger.
"Why are you glaring at ? What, looking for trouble, trying to start a fight?" The foreman was unyielding.
Worried about trouble, a worker tugged at the foreman’s sleeve and smiled at Ye Fei, "This land has been sold by the local authority. As soon as the bidding is over tomorrow, we’ll begin construction on a factory imdiately."
Upon hearing this, Little Ye’s eyes filled with tears as she looked up at Ye Fei.

Little Ye pursed her lips, unable to hold back her tears any longer.
"Daddy! I don’t want them to level the park; I don’t want grandpa and grandma to have nowhere to play. Little Ye wants to dance with them."
Little Ye shook Ye Fei’s hand forcefully, as if searching for a glimr of hope from her father.
But the foreman laughed heartily, "What’s the use of telling your dad, little girl? He’s not a billionaire. Otherwise, with a wave of his big hand, he could just buy this land outright."
Ye Fei bent down and gently wiped his daughter’s tears, "Don’t cry, Little Ye, be good. Daddy definitely won’t let them build a factory here. I promise you. You will still be able to see grandpa and grandma, okay?"
"Okay!"
Little Ye nodded vigorously and extended a cute little pinkie.

The foreman continued to laugh dismissively at the scene, "Kids are so easy to fool, wooed by a few boastful words."

The foreman, being rather insensitive, continued to snicker.
Ye Fei had no interest in arguing with such petty people.
He picked up Little Ye, gave the foreman a faint glance with a slight smirk, and then turned to leave.
