The vast mountains remained as silent as ever.
However, beneath this silence
a slaughter quietly began.
In less than twenty minutes’ ti, the enemies from the east and south were annihilated by the quartet of Long Wei, Hu ng, Bao Ji, and Lang Nue.
After the battle concluded, the four n headed towards the rendezvous point.
Laughter crackled over the radio once more.
"Hey hey, what do you think the situation is like over at Ye Fei’s side?"
"Haha, haven’t you noticed that we haven’t heard a single gunshot yet? What does that tell you? It tells you the guy hasn’t even made his move! I bet he’s sulking right now, regretting that he’s bragged too much."
"Your analysis makes sense. Wait till I see him, I’ll smack his face hard. Isn’t he good at talking big? Guys like him are just asking for a beating. If I don’t thrash him a bit, wouldn’t my title ’Lang Nue’ be wasted?"
"Enough, don’t go on about it. So far, we haven’t been exposed, and that’s the best outco. If Mr. Ye hasn’t made a move yet, we’ll just clean up for him."
Soon after, the four arrived at the eting point.
The fierce battle had concluded with an exaggerated ratio of 1:10.
Even these elites among elites were visibly exhausted.

The four n leaned against a stout tree in the dense forest, resting and waiting for news.

As they were chatting, they heard a series of strange noises.
"Listen! What’s that sound?"

After a series of yawns, soone swooshed down from the tree.
It was none other than Ye Fei!
"You, why did you climb up the tree? How long have you been up there?!" Hu ng asked, utterly bewildered.
Ye Fei shook off his sleepiness, "About fifteen minutes or so, I guess. Sorry about that, I didn’t get much rest last night after practicing. I was waiting for you guys and fell asleep before I knew it."
"What? Fifteen minutes?! So, you didn’t take out the enemies to the west and north?!"
"What’s up with you? We’re here to help you out. You’re not doing any work, and you climb a tree to sleep? Are you tired or just dumb?!"
"Exactly, I’ve never seen anyone like you before! You don’t have the strength, yet you insisted on showing off, ignoring the team leader’s words. We all did as you instructed, and then you go off and slack, making us clean up your ss. That’s really low of you!"
Ye Fei was flabbergasted by their scolding.
"What ss? What slacking? I had already finished my part a while back. It’s you guys who are too slow, okay?"
"What?!"
The others were left speechless, their faces twisted with frustration.
"You an to say, you took out the enemies to the west and north in just five minutes? Can you stop talking nonsense? It’s pointless."
Ye Fei thought for a mont, "Not even that long, it took just two minutes to end the battle."
"Crap!"
The four n were lost for words when it ca to Ye Fei.
Hu ng, in particular, was so enraged that he was ready to start a fight with Ye Fei.
Long Wei, however, remained relatively composed and held back Hu ng.
"Bao Ji, go scout out the west and north directions."
"Yes!"
It wasn’t long before Bao Ji returned.
His face was etched with disbelief.
"Team leader! The west and north, there indeed are no signs of enemy activity."
All four n’s eyes widened as they gazed at Ye Fei, utterly confounded.
They couldn’t believe that a single man had eliminated the ambush from two directions in such a short span of ti.
It was completely beyond their comprehension.
But in fact, what Ye Fei eliminated wasn’t just the enemies from the west and north.
There were also fifteen top-notch experts, well hidden, who were also disposed of by Ye Fei in those brief minutes.
And those fifteen top-notch experts were the main trump cards of Pangu Sect’s ambush.
"Oh!... I get it now!"
Hu ng suddenly acted as if he had a revelation.
