At that mont, the voice on the other end of the line said, "Of course, I can’t tell you my objective. However, what I can tell you now is that I have two of your most important won in my hands! To think she knew he was following her that night... this was no simple matter, far from it. He had originally intended to call Black Fog and the others for backup.
But with both Su Qingxue and Luo Yazhi on the line, he had no choice but to take the risk. If he called for backup, there would be no room for negotiation. So, he headed to the mysterious villa alone.
Arriving at the villa, he found it desolate and silent. The lights were dim, and an unnerving quiet hung in the air. Suddenly, more than a dozen people surrounded him.
Just as Ye Fan was about to make a move, a woman’s voice called out, "King of Heaven, I’ve been waiting for you. Co up."
As Ye Fan walked up, the dozen or so figures lted back into the shadows of the night.
Arriving in the main hall of the villa, Ye Fan saw a Western woman seated in the seat of honor. As he drew closer, he saw that she was stunningly beautiful. However, after moving through the underworld for so long, he understood one truth: the more beautiful a woman is, the more terrifying she is.

Years ago, a King had tried to conquer the Dark Night Demon Queen, but she ended up annihilating him and his entire force. That incident led to a shift in the hierarchy of the Kings. It was obvious just how terrifying the Dark Night Demon Queen was. If he could, Ye Fan would have preferred to never cross her.
Ye Fan asked, "You’re the Dark Night Demon Queen?"
"At least you’re not a complete fool. You know who I am. But knowing my identity doesn’t change a thing for you," the Dark Night Demon Queen said. A beautiful black rose was tattooed on her shoulder.
"You kidnapped them to get to , but what is your purpose? I don’t believe you’re doing this for no reason!" Ye Fan stated.
"They say the King of Heaven is a man of both wisdom and strength, and it’s true. I do have a purpose for coming after you, and it’s very simple. They say you are the first among the seven Kings. I just want to take your place," the Dark Night Demon Queen declared.
But Ye Fan shook his head. "With your strength, becoming a King would be a simple matter. I don’t believe you’re only after my title."
"If that’s all you want, you can have it! I don’t want it anyway. I’ve wanted to get rid of this title of King for a long ti," Ye Fan said.
The Dark Night Demon Queen replied, "Your analysis is sound. But I don’t just want your title of King. I also want all the resources controlled by your King Hall."
"And the simplest way to achieve both objectives... is to kill you!"
Ye Fan instantly knew that this last part must be her true goal. To kill . But we have no grudge against each other, so why does she want
dead? This is sothing I can never tolerate.
