Facing such a difficult mother-in-law, Ye Fan felt like he was falling apart. Wu Xuefang didn’t play by the rules, rendering all of his prepared responses completely useless.

"What feeling?" Fang Nan asked, puzzled.
She continued, "I’m starting to doubt whether you two are really a couple."
"Mom, we really are a couple!" Fang Nan insisted.
Ye Fan also chid in to placate her. What a shrewd mother-in-law, she had almost seen right through them. In truth, Ye Fan and Fang Nan weren’t really a couple. After all, their relationship was just too bizarre to comprehend.
"I don’t believe you," Wu Xuefang said flatly.
"Mom, you can ask Grandpa about it! He can vouch for us!" Left with no other choice, Fang Nan played her trump card.
At that, Wu Xuefang said, "If you’re really a couple, then prove it to !"
"How do we prove it?" Fang Nan asked, confused.
"Do I really need to spell it out for you?" Wu Xuefang said. "Send
so intimate photos of you two. Otherwise, I’ll tell your dad and have him deal with you!"
With that, Wu Xuefang turned and walked away, leaving Fang Nan and Ye Fan reeling.
Back at ho, Fang Nan paced anxiously. "What do we do? What do we do?"
"We’ll have to take it as it cos," Ye Fan said profoundly.
Just then, Fang Nan’s gaze locked onto Ye Fan.
"What are you planning?" Ye Fan asked. He had no idea what she was thinking.
"Take off your clothes!" she ordered.
"You can’t be serious! Right now?" Ye Fan asked warily, feigning shock.
"Of course, right now! Hurry up!" Fang Nan said, speechless.
Ye Fan replied innocently, "Alright, but you should draw the curtains first. This is kind of thrilling!"
"What are you thinking about? I need to take so intimate photos! Co on, to the bedroom! We have to deal with my mom, or she’ll kill !"
Fang Nan grabbed Ye Fan and pulled him into the bedroom. Throughout the whole ordeal, he was completely passive. He held her close, and they started taking selfies.
"Closer, get closer!" Fang Nan urged.
Ye Fan was speechless. If he got any closer, he was afraid he might actually break the law.
They finally got the shot.
Fang Nan looked at the photo and said, "It’s intimate, but it looks a bit unnatural. Co on, take off your shirt."
Ye Fan followed the order.
Lying on the bed together, they looked incredibly close. A fire ignited inside Ye Fan. If he didn’t get it under control, things could get dangerous.
"This is much better!" Fang Nan knew this photo would be far more convincing. At least, she thought so.
She found herself staring in a daze at Ye Fan’s chiseled muscles.
"What are you looking at?" Ye Fan asked.
"I have a bold idea," Fang Nan declared.
"What kind of bold idea?" Ye Fan asked, puzzled. He had to admit, he could never predict Fang Nan’s train of thought.
"Let’s make this act real," Fang Nan said.
"We shouldn’t! I’m already spoken for! You can’t do this!"
In truth, Ye Fan desperately wanted to, but it was impossible. Once he crossed that line with Fang Nan, he would have to take full responsibility. Given her family background, she might accept his identity as the King of Heaven, but she would never accept that he was engaged to another woman. In the end, it would only break her heart. For that reason, he had to refuse.
"I should go. I’ll see you tomorrow," Ye Fan said hastily. If he stayed any longer, his rational thoughts would vanish. He feared he wouldn’t be able to resist taking the initiative, and then he’d truly be done for.
But Fang Nan grabbed him, her expression darkening. "If you dare to leave, I’ll accuse you of molesting ."
"You... you can’t be such a scoundrel!"
Ye Fan was at a loss for words. Who was taking advantage of whom here? A person should have so decency!
"I don’t care," Fang Nan said. "Right now, I call the shots. Lie down!"

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through Fang Nan. In that instant, she knew she had given everything to the man she loved most.
Ye Fan beca much gentler.
When it was all over, the sun was already rising on a new day. It had to be said, Ye Fan’s stamina was incredible.
Fang Nan was too exhausted to even get up.
"Darling," she whispered, "carry ."
"Okay."
As Ye Fan lifted her into his arms, he saw the plum-blossom-like stains of red on the bedsheets. There was no doubt they had truly turned their act into reality.
Ye Fan spent the entire day with Fang Nan, who lay blissfully in his arms.
In the afternoon, there was a sudden knock at the door.
"That’s strange. I don’t know anyone around here," Fang Nan said, puzzled.
"Maybe it’s a delivery," Ye Fan said. "I’ll get it!"
However, the mont he opened the door, Ye Fan froze. The visitors were Su Qingxue and Alice.
