Chapter 394: Chapter 393: Ultimate Power

It seed that the Yuanhong Sword, having sensed Ye Fan’s intense emotions after absorbing so much of his blood, had undergone a transformation. The terrifying killing aura and Sword Qi that emanated from it made even a Saint-level expert like Heather tremble.

Fearing a sudden change in the situation, the Wolf King charged forward. He had to admit that Ye Fan, an ant in his eyes, was now stirring a flicker of unease and dread within him—a feeling he refused to entertain. However, he was blocked by the fearso Evil Qi released by the Yuanhong Sword. Such pure, blood-red Evil Qi and Sword Qi made the very heavens change color as the ground was stained crimson.

"Slaughter Sword Dao!" Ye Fan roared furiously.

The Slaughter Sword Dao was a technique born from the fusion of the Cross and Diagonal Sword Technique and the Slaughter Sword Intent. If the Returning to the Sect Sword was defined by its massive destructive power and razor-sharp Sword Qi, then the Slaughter Sword Intent was designed to disrupt an opponent’s mind and spirit. An unexpected strike was crucial, and the Slaughter Sword Dao was the fusion of both concepts. It was a move envied even by the heavens, one unleashed at the cost of his own lifeblood.

A formidable wave of blood energy erupted from the Slaughter Sword Dao, rocketing toward the Wolf King at blinding speed. The Wolf King’s disdain vanished, his face paling as he felt the strike. Despite being a Saint-level expert, he could feel the imnse pressure from this single move. He quickly moved to defend, unleashing the Sky Wolf Roar in an attempt to withstand Ye Fan’s lethally powerful attack.

"Impossible! I am a Saint. You can never hurt !" the Wolf King howled, eting Ye Fan’s Slaughter Sword Dao head-on. A massive Blood Demon materialized, accompanying the Slaughter Sword Dao as it descended upon the Wolf King.

BANG!

The world fell silent.

This move... it’s like a judgnt from the heavens! Heather was shocked. Is this Ye Fan’s ultimate technique? She had to admit, he had profoundly surprised her this ti.

"ARGH!"

Ti seed to slow as the Wolf King let out a miserable scream. Two of his fangs shattered as his body was sent flying backward, smashing violently into the mountainside, which cracked on impact.

Ye Fan knelt weakly on the ground, an emptiness welling up inside him. The power in his Dantian had faded, as if the very foundation of his strength had been pulled out from under him. He had gambled his own fate and that of the entire Blood Clan on this single move.

Heather looked toward the Wolf King. The power of that strike surpassed even my Blood Demon Gate. If I had been the one to use it instead of Ye Fan, I could have killed the Wolf King instantly. Such is the might of the Slaughter Sword Dao.

However, the next mont, they heard heavy panting.

He’s not dead yet?! Ye Fan stared in shock as a battered figure staggered out from the rising dust.

"Heh heh heh..." The Wolf King began to laugh. Although he was weakened to an extre, Ye Fan and Heather’s situation was no better. He could still afford to be arrogant to the very end.

He sneered, "Strong as that move was, coming from you—a re pinnacle Supre—it was never enough to truly harm !"

His words were filled with dominance, and he was not wrong. If a peak-condition Heather had launched that attack, killing the Wolf King would have been simple. Ye Fan’s foundation, however, was still a step behind.

"Die!" he roared, throwing a punch.

At that mont, Ye Fan shielded Heather with his body, taking the full force of the blow.

"Pfft!"

Ye Fan spat out a mouthful of blood as worry gripped Heather’s heart. They both crashed heavily to the ground, with Ye Fan pinned beneath her.

"Why were you so foolish? You could have dodged that!" Heather cried, her tears splashing onto Ye Fan’s face.

"That blow wasn’t enough to kill ," Ye Fan said weakly. "Now, it’s all up to you."

"?" Heather looked at Ye Fan, her expression full of anxiety.

Just then, Ye Fan pierced his own body with his sword.

"What—what are you doing?" Heather cried, hastily pressing her hands over his wound. She couldn’t understand why he would harm himself at a ti like this.

Ye Fan replied weakly, "My blood is special. Use it... to restore your power."

"No!" Heather wept. If this ans you will die, I would rather die myself than let you do this!

Ye Fan’s blood flowed from the wound, coalescing into a sphere that glittered like a blood diamond. Heather’s gaze was fixed firmly on him as the blood then flowed into her body. Ye Fan completely passed out.

As his blood coursed through her, Heather floated into the air, her entire being undergoing a sublimation. Her old wounds began to heal at a visible rate as his power rged with her own.

"What?" The pursuing Wolf King saw everything and was imdiately shocked, unsure of what was happening. He summoned the Wolf God Statue, which flew toward them but was blocked by a curtain of blood.

Heather’s eyes glowed red as her aura surged, climbing to its absolute peak. She could feel a domineering, tyrannical power integrating with her body—the ultimate power she had always craved. When this power seized her body, Heather was reborn from the ashes.

She shouted, "Wolf King, this ti I will make sure you have no grave to rest in!"

"You’re not qualified!" the Wolf King roared, lunging forward in an instant. He charged at Heather, this ti unleashing his Life Force. As he did, a giant wolf golem materialized behind him, roaring as if to devour everything.

Just then, Heather moved. She condensed a single blood arrow. As it shot forth, the giant wolf golem exploded, and the force sent the Wolf King flying backward. But that wasn’t all. The blood arrow didn’t stop, continuing its lethal trajectory.

A sense of utter despair washed over the Wolf King. He knew, without a doubt, that this was an attack he could not possibly block.

"ARGH!"

As the blood arrow pierced his body, he collapsed weakly to the ground. His chest was punctured and his Wolf King’s heart shattered instantly. Reverting to his true wolf form, he breathed his last. At that mont, every Werewolf felt the fall of their king.

「Atop the Holy Mountain.」

The Gale Blood Ancestor had been impaled by a Werewolf Leader. He sensed his life ebbing away as the Werewolf Leader approached ferociously, ready to tear his body apart. However, just then, terror filled the Werewolf Leader’s eyes; he, too, had sensed the fall of the Wolf King.

"RAAAGH!"

With a furious roar, the Gale Blood Ancestor seized the opportunity. He grabbed the Wolf-Slaying Sword that was embedded in the wall and severed the Werewolf Leader’s head with a single stroke before falling weakly to the ground. He looked toward the direction of Heather’s battle.

"Ancestor Lord..." he said feebly. "I... I can no longer serve you. I must... go now. Farewell!"

After speaking his final words, the Gale Blood Ancestor collapsed, his life fading away. The Werewolves, sensing their king’s demise, began a desperate retreat. Seizing the turn of the tide, the previously oppressed Blood Clan Warriors launched a relentless pursuit.

Though the Gale Blood Ancestor died in battle, he had protected the Vampire Clan’s Holy Tomb, preventing the Werewolves from desecrating it. He had fulfilled the mission Heather had entrusted to him.

The entire Vampire Clan, feeling as if they had been granted a great pardon, gave chase. The Werewolves were in a full rout, facing the grueso fate of total annihilation.

Seeing the routed Werewolves, Heather thought of Ye Fan and the heavy price the entire Vampire Clan had paid. Consud by rage, she shouted, "Kill them all! Spare none!"
