Chapter 392: Chapter 391: Fight to the Death

The next day, while high-ranking mbers of the Vampire Clan were discussing strategies in the castle, a Vampire Prince hurriedly arrived. "Reporting to Ancestor Lord, the Werewolf Army is surging toward us! They will reach the front line of our Blood Clan forces in less than twenty minutes!"

Heather said, "Intercept them ten kiloters from the castle!"

"Yes!"

The great Princes quickly dispersed to command the army. The Blood Ancestors were not idle either, and Ye Fan rushed to the front line with them. At that mont, a large group of werewolves charged forward, howling. In their rear, a particular werewolf rode a gigantic black wolf. His aura was majestic and his strength was formidable. No one dared to challenge him.

Even the other Werewolf Leaders by his side paled in comparison. He was the Wolf King, a being with Saint-grade strength who was no longer bound by mortal limits. His imnse power made him a unique figure within the Werewolf Army.

Just then, a Werewolf Leader said, "Your Majesty, the Right Xian Leader is dead."

"It doesn’t matter," the Wolf King replied. "Even with him dead, I will still crush the Vampire Clan!"

"But... our movents?" the Werewolf Leader asked with so trepidation.

The Wolf King glared harshly at him. "Our plan is already in place. Even if they discover us, it won’t affect the grand sche of things."

"Yes!" the Werewolf Leader quickly responded.

Suddenly, countless arrows shot out from the woods, soaring down and targeting the werewolves’ eyes. The werewolves on the front line were imdiately blinded—a truly horrific sight. These sightless warriors instantly went berserk, turning on their nearby comrades in a frenzy and sowing chaos throughout their own ranks.

As their formations began to crumble, the Wolf King saw the chaos and roared furiously, "Soone knows our weakness! Kill those frenzied werewolves!"

"Yes!"

The werewolves were rciless, carrying out the order without hesitation even against their own kind. Countless werewolves died at the hands of their comrades. After a great effort to quell the internal slaughter, the enraged Wolf King roared, "Charge! Kill them all!"

"Yes!"

However, another volley of arrows rained down. Though the arrows were as dense as rain, the werewolves’ bodies were terrifyingly tough and could not be pierced. But their eyes were a different story. More and more werewolves were blinded and went berserk, and the chaos grew too large for their comrades to contain. So of the frightened werewolves even began to retreat.

Enraged, the Wolf King beheaded the fleeing werewolves with a single slash of his sword. The remaining troops were instantly petrified, not daring to even breathe.

The Wolf King bellowed, "Anyone who dares to flee will be executed on the spot! Charge! Don’t be afraid—they are the ones who should fear us!"

"Yes!"

Three Werewolf Leaders imdiately led their troops into the dense forest, where they began to tear through the Vampire Clan’s forces.

At that mont, several Blood Ancestors appeared. One targeted a Werewolf Leader, while the other two charged into the main fray.

Ye Fan charged toward the two Werewolf Leaders closest to him, unleashing the Yuanhong Sword. A spray of blood flew through the air as one of the leaders clutched at his eyes and began to rampage.

"Hundred-step Flying Sword!"

An incredibly fierce wave of Sword Qi surged forward, blowing the rampaging Werewolf Leader’s body to pieces. The remaining leader, enraged, swung a massive axe and charged at Ye Fan.

Having swiftly finished off one Werewolf Leader, Ye Fan was completely unafraid to battle the one that remained. This was the Zuo Xian Leader, the strongest of the Wolf Clan’s great leaders. He knew that Ye Fan was aware of his weakness, so he had been on guard from the very beginning. His eyes were everything; he had to protect them.

Ye Fan grinned. "Interesting. This is exactly what I wanted!"

He shot forward, his speed like a phantom’s. The Werewolf Leader roared and charged, engaging him in a ferocious battle.

The four Blood Ancestors also unleashed their full combat power, catching the once-arrogant Werewolf Army completely off guard.

At that mont, the Wolf King roared and charged toward Ye Fan. He had realized that of all the enemies on the field, Ye Fan was the one who had to be eliminated—the ddleso pest.

But just then, a wave of blue energy blasted toward him. The Wolf King imdiately crossed his arms to block the attack.

"Heather," the Wolf King stated coldly.

Heather appeared, reprimanding him, "Wolf King, how dare you provoke our Vampire Clan!"

"Only one of our two races can survive in the Dark World," the Wolf King retorted coldly. "Either the Wolf Clan dies, or the Vampire Clan is annihilated. Today, we settle this grudge for good!"

But Heather replied, "A pity for you. The Vampire Clan has discovered the weakness of your werewolves. You have no advantage left!"

The Wolf King sneered contemptuously. "Do you really think the Vampire Clan has the upper hand? My Wolf Clan has already taken control of the entire periphery of the Blood Clan Holy Mountain. All that awaits you is death!"

Heather was shocked. Could it be that the Wolf Clan has another gambit?

Just then, a Vampire Prince risked his life to fly to her side. "Ancestor Lord, this is bad! The area behind the Holy Mountain is under attack! They might breach the Holy Tomb!"

Heather’s expression changed instantly. The Holy Tomb was the resting place for the kings of the Vampire Clan from generations past, including her grandfather, who had yet to awaken from his long slumber. If it were breached, the Vampire Clan would truly be finished.

"Send two Blood Ancestors to intercept them! Stop them, no matter the cost!"

"Yes!"

The Prince departed to deliver the orders to the two Blood Ancestors fighting within the army.

"Take this!" the Wolf King roared, swinging a fist as he charged at Heather.

Heather quickly defended herself. Without a doubt, the Vampire Clan and the Wolf Clan were now locked in an all-out war.

anwhile, Ye Fan and the Zuo Xian Leader had already exchanged several blows. In Ye Fan’s estimation, the Zuo Xian Leader was stronger, but the leader was clearly wary of him. After all, every single one of Ye Fan’s attacks targeted the werewolf’s eyes.

The two were locked in a fierce, evenly matched battle.

"Returning to the Sect Sword!"

Ye Fan unleashed the attack, and the Zuo Xian Leader quickly crossed his arms to block it. In the next instant, however, Ye Fan’s sword was already slashing down. The leader was forced to counter with his axe, engaging him in their fiercest clash yet. They were at a stalemate, with neither able to gain an advantage.

"ROAR!" the leader bellowed, charging at Ye Fan with his axe. Ye Fan swiftly dodged, and the massive axe head chopped two large trees clean in half.

As the trees toppled, Ye Fan lunged forward with his sword and blinded one of the leader’s eyes.

"ARGH!" the Zuo Xian Leader scread in agony. His axe missed its mark, but he managed to land a solid punch on Ye Fan.

The blow broke two of Ye Fan’s ribs, and he coughed up a mouthful of blood. This Zuo Xian Leader is on a completely different level from the Right Xian Leader.

The two faced off again. To Ye Fan’s surprise, the Zuo Xian Leader remained incredibly composed. He didn’t fly into a rage or enter a frenzied state. In fact, the Zuo Xian Leader was biding his ti, patiently looking for an opening. He knew that against a foe as terrifyingly skilled as Ye Fan, he would surely fall to a single decisive strike if he didn’t exercise restraint.

Ye Fan racked his brain for a solution. He couldn’t afford to drag out this fight with the Zuo Xian Leader. With the Blood Clan Holy Mountain in danger, he had to finish this battle as quickly as possible.
