Chapter 289: Chapter 288: Struggle Between Various Parties

After Mummy’s match ended, it was Polar Bear’s turn.

With sharp eyes and agile speed, Polar Bear subdued his opponent, a Martial Artist. The Underground Boxer had just prepared to strike when Polar Bear’s fingers were already clamped around his throat. He trembled as he looked at Polar Bear.

"You should surrender," Polar Bear said. "I don’t want to kill you."

"Y-yes, of course!" the man stamred, hurrying off the stage.

"Hmph! Showing rcy to an enemy is cruelty to oneself," Mummy said disdainfully. "This Polar Bear is nothing special!"

In his view, Polar Bear’s decision to hold back was unwise. It made him seem like a fool.

Of course, everyone has their own unique fighting style and moral code. Upon hearing Mummy’s words, Polar Bear simply gave him a cold look.

Next up was Sen Ba, known as the at Grinder. The mont he stepped onto the stage, the sheer force of his presence was so overwhelming that the crowd felt they could hardly breathe. Sen Ba was renowned all over North Arica. He had been in retirent for the last few years but had now reerged in the Underground Boxing Ring in Thailand. His return was destined to be t with roaring applause.

What Ye Fan hadn’t expected was that the man fighting Sen Ba was Wolverine, Mummy’s top War General. I wonder if Sen Ba will spare Wolverine.

At that mont, Wolverine sneered, "So you’re Sen Ba? The at Grinder?"

"That’s right," Sen Ba replied, his tone filled with cold indifference.

"They say you’re on par with my master, but I don’t believe it," Wolverine declared. "Let

be the one to defeat you with my fists and put an end to your ’at Grinder’ title!"

"You are not worthy," Sen Ba retorted. "Your master might barely qualify for a match with . But you have provoked , and anyone who provokes

must die. There are no exceptions, not even with your master here!"

I love it, Ye Fan thought. It seems Sen Ba doesn’t think much of Mummy either.

Mummy was furious. Even when you beat a dog, you’re supposed to consider its master, yet Sen Ba isn’t giving

any face at all!

"I’ll deal with you later," Mummy said coldly.

"You’re courting death!" Wolverine roared, charging at Sen Ba. As one of the top contenders on the boxing champion list, he was a master in his own right. His pride could not tolerate such an insult.

However, Sen Ba stood his ground disdainfully. Wolverine’s attack was incredibly fierce, but just as he reached his opponent, Sen Ba suddenly grabbed him by the hair. His five fingers clamped down on Wolverine’s head, and in an instant, his skull was crushed.

"ARGH—!"

The scream was cut short. The crowd shivered. Sen Ba truly deserved his reputation; he had just crushed the formidable Wolverine with a single move.

Sen Ba then pointed at Mummy. "I’ll deal with you later."

"Do you think I’m afraid of you?" Mummy retorted with a sneer.

The thrilling Underground Boxing King tournant had not yet reached its climax. Next, it was Ye Fan’s turn on the stage.

Ye Fan was perfectly composed. His opponent was a Martial Artist, also from the Divine Land.

His opponent addressed him, "Since we’re both from the Divine Land, let’s skip the pleasantries. Make your move!"

Ye Fan replied, "I have four matches to go before the final round. So, how about my next four opponents co at

all at once?"

The entire arena fell silent for a mont, then erupted in disdain. In their eyes, Ye Fan was unbelievably arrogant. Only giants like Mummy, Sen Ba, or Polar Bear had the right to make such a claim. Who did this naless upstart think he was? In that instant, all eyes were on Ye Fan.

The organizers called Ye Fan’s next four opponents into the ring to face him together.

"I bet this guy gets beaten into a pulp," Mummy scoffed. "If he gets killed before even making it to the finals, it’ll ruin all the fun!"

Sen Ba and Polar Bear, however, remained silent. They both recognized Ye Fan as a formidable opponent.

The four opponents facing Ye Fan said angrily, "Kid, you’ll soon learn the price of arrogance!"

"Is that so?" Ye Fan replied disdainfully.

The entire audience was now glued to the match. This was an unprecedented situation in the history of the Underground Boxing Ring in Thailand: one man challenging four, completely disregarding the rules. To make such a crazy move ant one of two things: either you had more than enough strength, or you were just a grandstanding fool. To them, it was clear Ye Fan was the latter.

He Yu sighed helplessly. My boss never plays by the book. What can I do? I’m as helpless as he is!

The four n charged at Ye Fan from all sides, their attacks aid to kill. Yet, Ye Fan remained rooted to the spot, unmoving. In the eyes of the crowd, he was taking his act too far. He’s not reacting at all? This guy isn’t just an unqualified Underground Boxer; he’s got a death wish!

Finally, just as a burly fighter’s punch was about to land, Ye Fan moved. He struck the first charging Underground Boxer in the abdon. The man doubled over, vomiting stomach acid as he was sent flying backward, not getting up again. The other three closed in from the remaining sides, but Ye Fan leaped into the air, delivering a swift kick to each of their faces that sent them tumbling to the ground. He landed calmly, standing in the sa spot as before.

The four n steadied themselves and attacked again. It was useless. They were no match for Ye Fan; they didn’t even qualify to fight him. The end was brutal. In less than five minutes, Ye Fan had knocked them all out of the ring. He didn’t kill them, however. Even in a cruel tournant like this, these people might still have their uses.

By now, the crowd had processed what they had just seen. They were completely captivated by Ye Fan’s skill. Such power was unimaginable. They had assud he would et a tragic end fighting one against four, but his strength had proven he had every right to make his challenge. A murmur spread through the audience. From the looks of it, Ye Fan wasn’t just a dark horse in this tournant; he was a super dark horse.

Both Polar Bear and Sen Ba watched Ye Fan intently. His fighting style was different from what they had imagined. They ntally marked him as a serious contender.

Mummy, however, was filled with disdain. I’ll be the one to end him in this tournant.

After several more rounds of elimination, only four people remained in the arena: Ye Fan, Sen Ba, Polar Bear, and Mummy. As everyone had expected, they were the last four standing.

The most thrilling mont had arrived. These four represented the pinnacle of underground fighting, and their battles would finally decide who was the true Underground Boxing King.

"First match: North Arica’s Sen Ba versus the Divine Land’s Ye Wen!"

Ye Wen was the na Ye Fan had registered under. He wasn’t using his real na, but his battle against Sen Ba was destined to beco a legend. Most people believed Sen Ba would be victorious. After all, he was a veteran, a top-tier Underground Boxer. Even if Ye Fan was a dark horse who could withstand a few exchanges, he was sure to be defeated in the end.
