Chapter 253: Chapter 252: Taking Control of the Situation

"Die!" the Five Poison Ancestor cackled maniacally. Indeed, having mastered the Five Poison Skill, he felt he was the most powerful person in the world.

But as the poison fog slowly dissipated, a person appeared, riding the Divine Beast White Tiger. It was Alice. Neither she nor the White Tiger was affected by the fog.

What terrifying power! Ye Fan was inwardly shocked. To be able to just part the poison fog... This White Tiger is no simple creature. Or rather, Alice, who commands it, is extraordinary.

"White Tiger! Bite him!" Alice issued the deadly command.

The White Tiger wagged its tail like an eager puppy, showing it understood her words. It had to be said, for all its might, it was a sensible and obedient little cat. The White Tiger imdiately shook its huge body and charged toward the Five Poison Ancestor.

At this, the Five Poison Ancestor had no choice but to defend himself.

CRACK!

"Ahh!"

An agonized scream tore through the air. Everyone looked on to see that the White Tiger had bitten off one of the Five Poison Ancestor’s arms. Seeing this, everyone from both the Yan Clan and the Five Poison Sect felt a chill run down their spines. The scene was simply too brutal.

This beast’s strength is truly terrifying. It must have attained spiritual transformation! No, I have to think of sothing. Otherwise, I stand no chance against this White Tiger! The Five Poison Ancestor’s mind raced. He leaped up, attempting to strike Alice again. Alice commanded the White Tiger to intercept, but in that instant, the Five Poison Ancestor rushed forward and grabbed Ye Fan.

"Let him go!" Alice shouted.

"Hmph. If you want

to release him, it’s easy. Just kill this White Tiger. Otherwise, I’ll snap his neck right now." In the Five Poison Ancestor’s eyes, the White Tiger now controlled the entire battlefield. If the White Tiger didn’t die, they would never gain the upper hand.

Alice was at a loss. She didn’t make a move, her heart filled with worry for Ye Fan. Yan Ning and the Great Elder of the Yan Clan also grew anxious. Ye Fan is indeed our weakness... no, he’s Alice’s weakness. If it wasn’t for her, and soone threatened him like this, we’d probably say, "A fine threat!" After all, we wouldn’t care if he lived or died. But now, they had to care.

Alice said, "You’d better release him. Otherwise, you won’t be leaving this forest today, no matter what!"

Alice lacked her forr naivete, replaced by an air of maturity. She was no longer the lively, adorable young girl from King Hall. She was now a top-tier fighter who had inherited the Yan Clan’s thousand-year legacy. At that mont, Alice wracked her brain, trying to figure out how to wrest Ye Fan from the Five Poison Ancestor’s grasp.

However, Ye Fan surreptitiously winked at Alice. She understood imdiately—it was a unique eye signal from King Hall. The signal ant she shouldn’t worry about him; he had his own way to escape.

Just then, the Five Poison Ancestor tightened his grip on Ye Fan’s neck, overwheld by the impulse to kill him right then and there.

He bellowed, "I’ll give you one last chance! If I count to ten and you still haven’t made a decision, I’ll kill him!"

Without a doubt, he was losing his patience. As long as the White Tiger died, he still had a chance. However, Alice didn’t give him that chance. She rode the White Tiger slowly forward. The Five Poison Ancestor felt imnse pressure bearing down on him.

"Ten!"

"Nine!"

...

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!" he roared.

But Alice still didn’t react, instead continuing to urge the White Tiger forward. The Five Poison Ancestor couldn’t believe his bargaining chip was useless.

Furious, he bellowed, "You forced my hand!"

He was about to snap Ye Fan’s neck. But at that mont, the agonized screams of the Five Poison Sect’s Martial Artists rang out. The Five Poison Ancestor glanced over and saw his kinsn being torn apart by wild beasts.

Seizing the opening, Ye Fan acted. He quickly gathered all his strength, and Pure Yang Power erupted from his body, blasting the Five Poison Ancestor away.

"You little brat! You tricked !" the Five Poison Ancestor yelled.

He lunged with his palm, intending to shatter Ye Fan’s body. But in that instant, the White Tiger appeared, with Alice directing it to shield Ye Fan. The Five Poison Ancestor felt an infinite pressure.

"White Tiger, tear him apart!" Alice cried out.

Instantly, the White Tiger roared and leaped forward. The Five Poison Ancestor gathered all his strength and thrust out his hands. With no room to retreat, his goal was simple: to clash head-on with the White Tiger.

ROAR!

A massive roar echoed through the forest. The mont he collided with the White Tiger, he was utterly crushed. He may have been a standout among Emperor Level warriors, but the White Tiger was the Guardian God of the Yan Clan. Even an Emperor-level Expert was no match for it.

He was the Sect Leader of the Five Poison Sect, a peerless expert who had once suppressed the Yan Clan Patriarch and pushed their entire clan to the brink. To his dying breath, he would never have imagined such a tragic end: being instantly swatted to pieces by the White Tiger.

It had to be said, it was a ridiculous way to die. The Five Poison Ancestor probably never expected to face the ancestors of the Five Poison Clan after having died in such a manner.

Alice rode the White Tiger over to Ye Fan. "Ye Fan, get on!" she said.

The White Tiger crouched down. Alice reached out a hand to him. The weakened Ye Fan extended his own hand and jumped onto the White Tiger’s back.

"Hold on tight!" Alice said to the weakened Ye Fan.

"Okay!"

Ye Fan had barely processed her words before the White Tiger was already running at an incredible speed, giving him a terrible shock. Helpless, Ye Fan could only wrap his weak arms around Alice. By now, he barely had the strength to move, let alone worry about the old proprieties between n and won. Besides, this was a different era; such outdated customs were long gone.

Alice’s expression changed instantly. Ye Fan had grabbed her in a rather... awkward place. If it had been any other man, she would have killed him on the spot to vent her anger. But since it was Ye Fan, her brief discomfort gave way to a sweet smile. The young maiden had long since given her heart to her beloved, and this mont felt like another step forward in their relationship.

They arrived at the beast battlefield. The scene was horrifically bloody. There was no sign of the arrogant Five Poison Sect mbers—not even bones remained. Their corpses had been devoured by the beasts, leaving only the thick, cloying sll of blood in the air.

Yan Ning and the Great Elder of the Yan Clan got to their feet, both sighing in relief. Given the situation monts ago, it was hard to imagine they had survived. It had to be said, Alice had saved them, and Ye Fan as well. Just as they were about to thank her, they saw Ye Fan’s position and froze, their relief instantly turning to fury.

What a disgrace! How utterly improper!

"Young man, where do you think you’re putting your hands? Unhand her at once!" the Yan Clan Patriarch roared angrily.

The Great Elder’s eyes also looked ready to spit fire. Although after so many trials they knew they could no longer dictate Ye Fan and Alice’s relationship, they couldn’t help their reaction. Couldn’t you at least do this where no one can see you? Out of sight, out of mind! In front of so many people and beasts... what is he thinking? Is he that desperate?

However, at that mont, the weakened Ye Fan felt a wave of dizziness and slumped against Alice’s back, unconscious.

Alice grew worried at once. "Ye Fan? Ye Fan!" she cried.

But Ye Fan didn’t answer. He had already passed out.

Alice turned to the elders. "Patriarch, I’ll leave this to you. I have to take Ye Fan back for treatnt!"

"White Tiger, let’s go!"

The White Tiger imdiately rose and charged toward the Yan Clan’s back mountain, carrying Alice and Ye Fan away and leaving a stunned Yan Ning and the other Yan Clan elders behind.
