Chapter 108: Chapter 107: Instant Submission
The newcor was Ye Fan. He, too, was searching for the fugitives and had stumbled upon Miyaji Aoi by chance, so he followed her.
"Run! Why don’t you keep running?" Ye Fan said.
Miyaji Aoi asked, "Who are you? Why are you following ?"
Although she spoke the language of the Divine Land quite well, she could not conceal her Japanese accent.
"Still pretending?" Ye Fan retorted. "We’ve already t. Are you going to keep up the act?"
Called out by Ye Fan, Miyaji Aoi knew she could no longer hide the truth. "Hand over the docunts!" he demanded. "Or I’ll splatter your blood right here!"
"The docunts are forged!" Miyaji Aoi blurted out. She seed to realize her mistake and quickly tried to backtrack, but Ye Fan had already sensed sothing was amiss. "The docunts aren’t with ," she said, changing her tune. "But if you kill , you’ll never find out where they are!"
"Is that so?" Ye Fan said with disdain.
Just then, Miyaji Aoi launched an attack, aiming for his throat. Ye Fan plucked a leaf from a nearby tree and flicked it through the air. It sliced Miyaji Aoi’s fingers, and the dagger she was holding clattered to the ground. She stared at her cut finger, then at the leaf now embedded in a tree trunk, and drew a sharp, cold breath. She had never encountered soone with such profound Inner Strength. The Flying Flower and Leaf Hand was truly terrifying. He could kill with a re leaf; she was no match for him.
While she was still in shock, Ye Fan seized her by the neck. "If you don’t tell
where the docunts are," he threatened, "I will snap your neck!"
Terrified by his words, Miyaji Aoi knew that if she talked, Yoshimura Takuya would almost certainly have her killed. The re thought of him made her tremble. "If you kill , you’ll never know where the docunts are," she said, trying to stand her ground.
"In that case, don’t bla
for being impolite," Ye Fan replied, his murderous intent surging.
"I know where the docunts are!" Miyaji Aoi cried out hastily.
Finally talking, are you? Ye Fan scoffed internally.
He released her. Miyaji Aoi suddenly opened her clothes, exposing herself completely.
"What are you doing? I only want the docunts. Why are you stripping?" Ye Fan was left speechless.
"Don’t you want to know where the docunts are?" Miyaji Aoi said. "I don’t have them, so I have to offer this in exchange."
It was quite a sight, but Ye Fan had no interest in her. His gaze fell on the scars on her back. "What happened to your back?"
"They’re from my training, of course," she purred. "You can train , too. It’s more exciting that way!"
"Not interested," Ye Fan responded coldly. The boundless killing intent in his eyes showed he wasn’t joking. Miyaji Aoi finally began to take him seriously. She had hoped to ta Ye Fan, but now she realized this man was not so easily controlled.
Since she was an outcast now, there was no point in hiding anything. Concealing the truth or not, both paths led to death. She said to him directly, "If I tell you about the docunts, my master will kill !"
"If you don’t tell
where they are and keep playing gas with , I’ll kill you right now!" Ye Fan’s patience had run out.
"I’ll give you the information," Miyaji Aoi said, starting to negotiate, "but you have to guarantee my safety!"
"Let’s see if the information you provide is worth
saving your life," Ye Fan said.
"The docunt is a fake," she revealed. "There’s no writing on it at all. My master, Yoshimura Takuya, already tore it up."
"A fake?" Ye Fan was surprised. He hadn’t expected that. Where was the real one? The question puzzled him. "Was there anything else with the docunt?" he asked.
"Just a jade bead," Miyaji Aoi replied.
"Give
the jade bead, and I’ll guarantee your life," Ye Fan declared.
"And how can you guarantee my safety?" she challenged. She had deliberately revealed this information, confident that he wouldn’t kill her. If Ye Fan couldn’t protect her, she still had a chance to survive as long as she held onto the jade bead.
"Because I am the King of Heaven," Ye Fan stated simply.
"The King of Heaven!" Miyaji Aoi was shocked. Everyone knew the na of the King of Heaven, but she’d never imagined he would get involved in such matters. The rumors of him being in Shen Zhou Jiangning were indeed true. "What proof do you have?" she asked, her voice filled with excitent.
"What proof do you need?" Ye Fan countered.
At that mont, a leaf drifted down from a tree. Ye Fan extended a finger, and the leaf instantly split into two perfect halves as it fell. Miyaji Aoi was astonished; the cut was so perfectly even. She was thoroughly convinced. Ye Fan was the King of Heaven. Recalling the thods he used to subdue her just monts ago, she realized it was sothing no ordinary person could achieve. To her, it seed like an impossible feat, but for Ye Fan, it was simple. He truly was the King of Heaven.
With the King of Heaven here, she could escape Yoshimura Takuya’s grasp. The years of tornt she had suffered at his hands had left her in utter misery. No one wanted him dead more than she did. If she joined the King of Heaven’s command, she could finally achieve her goal. At that thought, Miyaji Aoi suddenly dropped to her knees.
"Why are you kneeling?" Ye Fan asked.
"Lord King," she said, "from this day forward, I am willing to recognize you as my master. You may control my life and death."
"That won’t be necessary," Ye Fan replied. "Just tell
where these people are, hand over the jade bead, and I’ll let you go and guarantee your life."
"No, Lord King! I truly want to follow you, because I want him dead!"
"Who is he?" Ye Fan asked.
"Yoshimura Takuya, the Young Master of the Jintian Group!" Miyaji Aoi said with fury.
"I’d very much like for him to die, too," Ye Fan said playfully.
"Lord King, please give
a chance," Miyaji Aoi pleaded. "I’m willing to entrust my life to you!"
Ye Fan looked at the sincere woman before him. "Do you truly wish to join my ranks?"
"I am willing!" she stated solemnly.
"Alright. But you should know that if you betray , the consequences will be severe," Ye Fan warned.
"I will never betray my master," Miyaji Aoi replied.
Ye Fan nodded. Just as he finished speaking, Black Fog and Di Que appeared. They had rushed over after receiving his ssage. Miyaji Aoi was shocked by their sudden appearance. The aura and strength of these two were formidable. Only now did she understand that the King of Heaven did not fight alone.
"Tell them Yoshimura Takuya’s location," Ye Fan instructed her. "You and I will go get the jade bead."
"Alright!" Miyaji Aoi told Black Fog and Di Que the location of Yoshimura Takuya’s villa, and the two n vanished instantly.
Ye Fan and Miyaji Aoi went to a hotel, where she handed him the jade bead. He examined the fist-sized bead. Its surface seed unremarkable, but he had a feeling that it had been pieced together. Instantly, he crushed it. Sure enough, a folded docunt was concealed inside. Ye Fan opened it and saw that it contained the Su family’s business secrets.
He put the docunt away. "This is indeed what I was looking for. It’s a good thing you didn’t hand it over."
Miyaji Aoi was stunned. She never expected the docunt would be hidden inside the bead.
"I’ll arrange for soone to take you to the Heavenly King Hall," Ye Fan told her. "No one can kill you there."
"Thank you, Master!" Miyaji Aoi said seductively. Then, she suddenly shed her clothes again.
Not again! Does this woman have an exhibitionist streak? Ye Fan was internally speechless.
"Serving my master is part of my duty," Miyaji Aoi said. "I can attend to your every need. Master, ravage
at your will!" She knew that many powerful n had such peculiar tastes, and she assud Ye Fan was one of them.
