Hugo wiped a bead of sweat from his brow, his limbs trembling like a leaf in the wind as the yoga session neared its end.

Luna, the stunning instructor, clapped her hands softly. "Great job, everyone. Let's take a mont to cool down with so deep breathing exercises."

Hugo panicked internally. 'Cool down? No! We can't be done yet!' He glanced over at Luna, who still looked as poised and radiant as ever.

This was his last chance to make an impression, and it was slipping through his fingers like sand in an hourglass.

His mind raced for a plan, any plan, to prolong the session. But the yoga session was winding down, and Luna began leading the class in a gentle cool down.

"Thank you, everyone, for joining today. Let's end with a mont of gratitude—"

Hugo's eyes widened in alarm. 'No, no, no, it can't be over yet! I haven't even had my breakthrough mont with Luna!'

He quickly concocted a plan so elaborate it made his brain hurt. He wouldn't call himself a strategist or even a scher, but for Luna, he would do anything.

He would beco anything!

He shot his hand up with dramatic urgency. "Luna, wait! Before we finish, I just… I just feel like we haven't truly bonded as a class today."

Luna paused, raising a curious eyebrow. "Bonded?"

Hugo steeled his gaze and smoothened his brows. He was throwing the bait for Luna. If she was interested enough in him, she would definitely notice it and catch it!

"Yes! Yoga is about connection, right? Body, mind… spirit… partner!" Hugo's words tumbled out with the smoothness of a man teetering on desperation.

He had already activated the Aura of Zen for that extra smoothness. His words flowed like honey.

"I think we should demonstrate a partner yoga pose. You know, as a way to end this session on a high note."

The room went silent. Even Daphne squinted at Hugo suspiciously. When he put it like that, it actually did make sense. "Uh, what are you—"

"Isn't it a great idea?" Hugo cut her off, nodding rapidly at Luna. "And who better to demonstrate than our fearless instructor?"

Luna hesitated. She most probably already knew his intentions, she was just contemplating whether to act along.

"Well, partner yoga wasn't on today's agenda…"

"It's fate!" Hugo insisted, practically glowing with enthusiasm. "Let's show everyone the Partner Boat Pose! You and , side by side, guiding the class to unity."

The other attendees groaned audibly. One guy muttered, "Can we just leave already?" while the old lady from earlier shot Hugo a withering glare.

Daphne, anwhile, was fuming silently.

Luna sighed but relented. "Alright, fine. Partner poses can be fun, and it might inspire the class. Since you're so passionate about it, co up here."

Hugo bounded to the front like a kid about to open his birthday presents. This was the joy of a commander who had lead his n to victory!

His strategy had worked!

He crouched across from Luna, their legs interlocked as they got into position for the pose.

"Alright, Hugo," Luna began, her professional tone unwavering. "We'll start by holding hands, then slowly lift our legs to form a V-shape, balancing on our sit bones—"

"Like this?" Hugo interrupted, gripping her hands firmly. His grin was so wide it was practically glowing.

"Yes, just like that," Luna said, her expression neutral.

Hugo leaned in slightly, his voice dropping to what he thought was a suave whisper. "You know, Luna, I always knew yoga was good for the body… but I didn't know it could connect souls."

Luna blinked, looking more bemused than impressed. "Focus, Hugo. Legs up!"

He complied, his legs wobbling as they rose. "Right, of course! Legs up… but can I just say, your balance is amazing. You must have the core strength of a goddess."

Daphne, who was seated nearby, groaned loudly. "Oh, for the love of—"

Luna shot Daphne a quick glance but didn't respond, her focus still on maintaining the pose. "Hugo, you need to straighten your back."

"Straight as an arrow," Hugo said, winking. "Anything for you."

Luna ignored him this ti, her professional deanour intact.

As the pose continued, Hugo couldn't resist. "You know, Luna, I've always believed in fate. Like, maybe I was ant to be in this class today. ant to et you. What are the odds?"

Luna sighed audibly. "Hugo, yoga is about quieting the mind. Please quiet yours."

"But how can I quiet my mind," Hugo said, tilting his head dramatically, "when you're filling it with so many thoughts?"

The old lady in the back muttered, "Soone please throw him out."

Eventually, the pose ended, and Luna released Hugo's hands with a subtle roll of her eyes. "Thank you, Hugo. That was… energetic."

Hugo, undeterred, wiped imaginary sweat from his brow. "Anything for the craft. You're an amazing teacher, by the way. Truly inspiring."

As the class began to disperse, Daphne, sensing Hugo's intentions, slid up next to him. "So, Luna, did Hugo tell you I'm his date? He's super lucky to have ."

Hugo's eyes widened in panic. "Daphne! That's not—"

Luna raised an eyebrow, her amused smirk returning. "Is that so?"

"NO!" Hugo blurted. Then, in a move so bold it surprised even him, he whipped out his phone and said, "Luna, as a yoga enthusiast, I'd love to learn more about your techniques. Could I maybe… get your number?"

Daphne gasped. The old lady muttered, "This guy's shaless."

Luna paused, clearly debating whether to humour him. After a mont, she sighed and took the phone. "Alright, Hugo. For professional purposes only."

Hugo's grin stretched from ear to ear as she handed the phone back. "Of course! Strictly professional. Thank you, Luna."

As she walked away, Hugo ignored Daphne's glare and pumped his fist. Mission accomplished.
