Hugo guided his sleek black Benz into the parking lot of Ice Fairies, the glowing neon sign reflecting off the hood of his car as he and Loli casually munched on cookies.
The lot was nearly full, cars lined up in neat rows under bright streetlights, and groups of people were walking toward the entrance, chattering excitedly as their breath ford small clouds in the cold night air.
It was a lively scene, but honestly, Hugo's focus was entirely on his current situation;
The fact that Loli, the very sa girl who once looked like she wanted to strangle him in a cafe restroom, was now sitting beside him, feeding him cookies like he was so kind of pampered prince!
Or at least, trying to.
"Here, open up," Loli cooed sweetly, holding a cookie between her fingers, her eyes twinkling mischievously.
Hugo obediently opened his mouth, only for Loli to smirk and, at the last second, pop the cookie into her mouth instead, chewing gleefully as she let out an evil little laugh!

Hugo froze. Betrayal!
"Loli." His voice was serious, but the sheer pain in it made it sound like he had just been personally wronged by the universe.
Loli shrugged, not the least bit remorseful. "You were too slow. That's on you."
Hugo placed a hand over his chest, as if physically hurt. "I trusted you."
"That's your mistake," she replied, giggling.
It kept happening. Again and again.
She'd hold out a cookie, make a big show of bringing it to his lips, then snap!—she'd steal it away, crunching down on it with pure villainous delight.
And each ti, Hugo's tiny frustration grew, but so did his amusent.
As much as he wanted to sulk about the blatant unfairness of the situation, he was actually having the ti of his life.
Who knew getting bullied over cookies could be this fun?
By the ti he finally pulled into a parking spot and turned off the engine, they were down to their last cookie.
And of course, that beca the next battleground!
"Okay, so obviously, I should get the last one," Hugo announced, reaching for it.
Loli slapped his hand away. "Excuse ? I've been doing all the hard work, feeding you."
"Feeding ?" Hugo scoffed. "Woman, you tricked half the ti and made watch you eat my hopes and dreams."
Loli laughed. "Then let's split it."
Hugo raised an eyebrow. "Alright. But if we're sharing, I should be compensated for the emotional damage of eating fewer cookies than you."
Loli rolled her eyes. "And how do you want to be compensated?"
Without hesitation, Hugo smirked. "Like this."
Before she could react, Loli suddenly found half the cookie pressed between her lips—because she was the one holding it—and before she could retreat, Hugo leaned in, bit into the other half, and...
Their lips t.
A light, teasing, almost playful kiss, but still enough to make Loli freeze in place.
The warmth of Hugo's lips, the way his teeth grazed the cookie as they both took a bite—it sent a shock through her system.
Hugo, on the other hand, was having the ti of his life.
'Oh, this is it. Revenge! This is how you evolve a woman from innocent to dangerous. One step at a ti. Slowly peeling off those layers until—'
Loli, face burning, shoved him away and turned to stare out the window. "You're shaless."
Hugo simply chewed his half of the cookie, grinning like a mastermind who had just executed the perfect cri.
"And yet, here you are, still sitting in my car."
Loli shot him a glare but couldn't hide the slight smile playing on her lips.
Feeling victorious, Hugo stepped out of the car and walked around to open her door, giving her a grand gesture to step out like so kind of royal attendant.
Loli rolled her eyes again but accepted it, stepping onto the pavent as they approached the skating rink together.
Ice Fairies was massive.
The exterior was sleek and modern, glass walls allowing passersby to see the skaters gliding inside, the bright white and blue lighting making everything feel like a winter wonderland.
The entrance was bustling with couples, groups of friends, and even a few families, all excitedly chatting as they lined up to get in.
Inside, the atmosphere was even more magical. The rink was huge, the ice glistening under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights.
People of all skill levels moved across the ice—so smoothly, others hilariously flailing as they tried to keep their balance.
A soft lody played in the background, adding to the dreamy, enchanting vibe of the place.
Hugo and Loli quickly paid for their tickets, collected their skates, and made their way to the rink.
Hugo laced up his skates in record ti, stepping onto the ice with practiced ease. He pushed off smoothly, gliding effortlessly, doing a casual spin just for the fun of it.
Man, this brought back mories.
His father had loved ice skating. It was his way of unwinding, and every ti he went, he brought Hugo along.
Hugo had been good at it before he even turned six. But after his father passed away, he hadn't skated as much. Still, the muscle mory was there.
Just as he was about to do another spin, he heard a very irritated voice behind him.
"YOU SHOW-OFF!"
Hugo turned around and nearly collapsed from laughter.
Loli was standing there, clutching the rink's railing for dear life, her legs shaking like crazy as she attempted to balance.
She looked absolutely helpless, her eyes filled with pure betrayal.
"Hugo, you JERK! You said you'd teach , and now you're out here showing off like so kind of ice prince?!"
Hugo wiped a tear from his eye, still laughing. "I'm sorry! You just—You just look so—"
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY CUTE."
He grinned. "Okay, adorable."
Loli let out an exaggerated gasp. "I swear, if I fall and break sothing, I'm suing you!"
"Relax, I'm here now." Still chuckling, Hugo skated over and grabbed her hands, gently pulling her forward.
Loli, still wobbly, imdiately latched onto him as if letting go ant certain death.
Hugo, of course, absolutely enjoyed the envious glares he got from the other n.
Yes. Life was good.
