Hugo was sitting on his bed, laptop open, phone in hand, a deep frown on his face.

Right now, he was on a serious quest. A mission of great importance. A mission that would define his future.

He was looking for a modeling agency. Because after destroying the photo booth with his god tier moves today, he was sure of his calling.

Mateo had practically fainted from his godlike presence, the female workers had been fanning themselves, and Sanchez had gasped so hard he almost choked.

Clearly, he had so real potential here.

Hugo had fully accepted his destiny. He was going to be a model. Not just any model.

A legend.

The kind of model that made people gasp the mont he walked into a room. The kind that made won swoon and n question their life choices.

But…

Where the hell was he supposed to start?

Hugo's eyes darted across the screen as he clicked on an article titled:

[So You Want to Be a Model? Here's Why 99% of You Will Fail Miserably.]

…Great. Very encouraging.

He scrolled through the article, and his mood sank lower with every line.

Modeling was a nightmare to break into.

It wasn't just about having a handso face or knowing how to strike a good pose.

No, no, no. That was just the tip of the iceberg. There were about a million other things to consider.

First, you needed a portfolio.

And not just any portfolio. A god-level portfolio. The kind filled with professional shots that made agencies take you seriously.

Which ant a ton of professional photos. Expensive photos. And not just one style—oh no. Agencies wanted range.

Casual shots. High fashion shots. Smiling, serious, editorial, comrcial—you had to prove you could do it all.

And getting all those pictures?

Crazy expensive.

Then, you had to network like crazy.

Modeling agencies didn't just pick random people off the street. You had to be scouted or referred.

Which ant going to fashion events, eting the right people, and hoping soone important noticed you.

Basically, you had to sell yourself. Which sounded very tiring.

And even if you got signed, that was just the beginning.

The competition was brutal. Every job had hundreds of models fighting for it. Even the best looking guys got rejected over and over.

It wasn't enough to be good looking—you had to have sothing special.

And if you sohow survived all of that?

You still had to maintain your physique, skin, posture, expressions, catwalk, and branding.

Hugo leaned back, rubbing his chin.

"...Damn."

This was a tough industry. But then—

A smirk ford on his lips... So what?

He had two things that gave him an unfair advantage.

1. The System.

He had MAXED OUT modeling mastery. Which ant no wasted energy, no bad angles, no rookie mistakes.

2. His Face.

And let's be honest—his face was getting lethal. What's more, it could get even better. And if he used his ABCD rings set bonus, he would look like a god.

With these two weapons, Hugo could climb the ranks.

No—he could DOMINATE the industry!

Just as he was getting hyped—

His phone buzzed. He looked down.

[Lisa: Heyyy~ I'm back in the city! I missed you soooo much!! Can you co over?]

Hugo froze. Then—

His soul ascended to heaven.

LISA WAS BACK!

Forget modeling! Forget agencies! Forget networking!

THIS. WAS. THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENT OF THE YEAR!

His first real girlfriend in his new life. The only girl he could actually see himself falling in love with in the nearest future.

Lisa was different.

She was gorgeous, fun, affectionate, cool, and genuinely cared about him.

And if there was one thing Hugo was 100% sure of right now—It was that he wasn't going to waste a single second.

He rushed to reply.

[YES. YES. YES. I'M ON MY WAY!]

He jumped up, grabbed a casual but killer outfit, and most importantly...

A fresh pack of condoms. He stared at the box. Then his face darkened. Last ti… he had misplaced them.

A grave mistake. A rookie mistake.

But this ti? NEVER AGAIN.

He secured the pack in his pocket, tapped it twice for good luck, and dashed out of his room.

Hugo stord into the living room and imdiately t a 6'5 obstacle called Collins.

Sitting on the couch, phone in hand, deep in conversation with an event planner.

"I want sothing that screams luxury. No, not basic fairy lights—I want sothing that makes people feel like they just stepped into royalty. And the VIP section—"

Collins looked up. His eyes locked onto Hugo. A smile spread across his face.

"Hugo! Perfect timing! I need your opinion on so things for my birthday party."

Hugo's heart dropped. Not now. NOT NOW.

His destination? Lisa's apartnt.

His mission? Romantic reunion.

His schedule? BOOKED.

Hugo didn't slow down.

"Sorry, can't talk! Ergency!"

Collins raised an eyebrow. "Ergency? What ergency?"

Hugo sped up.

Collins stood up. "Hey! Just five minutes!"

"Sorry! URGENT BUSINESS!" Hugo called back, already at the door.

Collins narrowed his eyes. Then—sudden realization.

"Wait a minute. Is this about a girl!?"

Hugo BOLTED.

"IT'S A YES, ISN'T IT!?" Collins shouted after him. "HUGO, GET BACK HERE! YOU CAN'T AVOID FOREVER!"

But Hugo was already gone.

Because nothing—NOTHING—was stopping him tonight.

One Hour Later

Hugo stepped into the familiar lobby of Lisa's apartnt building.

His heart pounded slightly. Not from nerves. No, no. From excitent.

The last ti he had been here…

It was that night. With one hour left on his death mission. The sheer panic. The adrenaline-fueled madness.

He let out a small laugh. What a mory.

Ding!

The elevator arrived.

Hugo stepped inside, pressed the button for Lisa's floor, and leaned against the wall.

The ride was smooth and quiet. This ti, there was no mission. No rush. Just Lisa.

The doors slid open.

Hugo stepped out and walked down the hallway. He reached her door and knocked once.

A familiar, lovely voice called out from inside.

"Who is it?"

Hugo felt warmth spread through his chest.

"...Your favorite person."

A small, playful laugh ca from the other side.

"Co in."

Hugo turned the handle—

And stepped into heaven. Because the mont the door opened, he was hit with the most wonderful sll.

And then—

He saw her.

And he was dazed.
