The door to Hugo’s dorm slamd open as he stumbled out, looking like a one-man hurricane.

His outfit was… let’s call it unique. Grey sweatpants hung awkwardly on his hips, paired with a blindingly bright Hawaiian shirt covered in flamingos.

It was clear he hadn’t even looked in the mirror. His backpack bulged so much it looked like it could explode at any mont, textbooks and loose papers threatening to spill out.

Of course he had to pack as much textbooks as he could. God forbid him having to run to the dorm once again because he didn’t rember to bring one.

To top it all off, his hair stuck up at odd angles, as though it had been caught in a fight with gravity—and lost.

It was shocking how he managed to rearrange his short length hair into sothing that could only be called a rain forest.

His face was a mix of panic and frustration, his mouth moving rapidly as he mumbled to himself. "Three assignnts… before midnight… three assignnts! WHY does everything bad happen to ?!"

His voice cracked on the last word as he jogged down the hallway like his life depended on it.

Today was the Absolute worst day of his life. Everything seed to be going downhill for him. First the gang chase, his broken car, and now this?

Absolute worst day!

As Hugo burst into the dorm lobby, the doors slid open, and in walked Collins. His best friend was glowing.

No, not literally, but his smile was wide, his leather jacket pristine, and his overall vibe scread, I’m living my best life.

He was the complete opposite of Hugo.

Tossing his car keys into the air and catching them smoothly, Collins looked every bit like a guy who had just been on a joyride in his brand-new car.

"Hugo?" Collins asked, raising an eyebrow at the walking disaster in front of him. "What’s with the look? Did… did you lose a wrestling match with your wardrobe?"

"Not now, Collins!" Hugo barked, running past him without slowing down.

"Okay, cool. See you around, I guess," Collins muttered, watching his friend vanish like a blur.

Hugo had only one destination in mind: Loli’s dorm. She had replied to his SOS ssage with her usual calm confidence, telling him to co over, and that she’d help him finish the assignnts.

For Hugo, it was like being tossed a lifeline while drowning in a sea of deadlines.

As he sprinted across campus, guilt began to gnaw at him. Loli had always treated him kindly, helping him out whenever he was in trouble, yet he didn’t even know her real na.

He didn’t know her real na—he just called her Loli because she was small, always wore baggy clothes, and had an unbothered, sarcastic vibe that reminded him of an ani character.

But she had always been kind to him. And here she was, once again, bailing him out.

"I’m the worst friend ever," Hugo muttered as he reached the dorm building. "She’s practically an angel, and I’m out here calling her Loli like so kind of degenerate."

In fact, the start of their friendship had been him threatening to expose her secret during a test and forcing her to show him so dubs.

He had managed to get close to her after that and she had bailed him out during those crazy impromptu tests multiple tis.

He was really quite the bad guy.

Finally, he reached her dorm building. And that’s when he stopped dead in his tracks, his jaw dropping in disbelief.

This wasn’t one of the standard dorms. No, this was a private luxury dorm.

The kind of place where the floors sparkled, the walls glead, and the air slled like lavender and success.

A fancy keypad guarded the entrance, and there was a small fountain out front, complete with a little statue of a bird spitting water.

"She lives here?" Hugo muttered, his eyes wide. "No way. She dresses like she shops at a thrift store clearance sale!"

After managing to get access to the building, Hugo reached her door and knocked. His heartbeat was in his ears, and his backpack let out an ominous creak as if it shared his tension.

From inside, he heard her voice, calm and slightly muffled. "I’m coming!"

Hugo’s brain, naturally, went into overdrive. ’What’s taking her so long? Is she cleaning up? Fixing her hair? Making a snack? Oh god, what if she’s having second thoughts? What if she changes her mind and leaves to die in this academic abyss?’

Seconds felt like hours. Just as Hugo was about to knock again, the door opened.

And there she was.

Standing in the doorway wasn’t the hoodie-wearing, sweatpants-loving Loli he was used to. No. This girl was… different.

She wore a simple black top and skinny jeans that fit her perfectly. Her hair, which was usually hidden under a beanie, now flowed down her shoulders in soft waves.

Her skin seed to glow under the hallway light, and her sharp features were so striking that Hugo montarily forgot how to breathe.

Hugo’s jaw practically hit the floor. He couldn’t process what he was seeing. His system had once labeled her as a 9, but back then, he’d scoffed at it. To him, she’d been a 6 at most.

But now? Looking at her in sothing other than her usual baggy wardrobe, she looked like a completely different person. No, not just a person—a goddess.

Hugo blinked. Then blinked again. Then, without even realizing it, the word slipped out of his mouth.

"Goddess…" he whispered.
