Chapter 647: I’m Back!
“You dare mock ?!” Gideon’s booming voice shook the air. He stepped forward, his massive foot cracking the ground as he slamd his palm down on his greatsword’s hilt.
The other giants flinched slightly, but none moved. Their instincts scread danger, but Gideon’s pride wouldn’t allow him to back down—especially not now.
“You stole what was mine! And now you show up here, parading as so kind of savior?” he bellowed, eyes bloodshot. “I’ll crush you where you stand, insect!”
But Nox only yawned, his expression clearly unimpressed. “I was planning to give you a light spanking, maybe a fractured rib or two just for show—but then you had to go and lust after my mother. Real bold. Real pathetic.”
A cold, deadly silence fell across the battlefield.
His voice turned sharp, smile fading into sothing far more chilling. “You crossed a line. And for that… the only thing awaiting you is death.”
Gideon’s veins bulged.
“YOU INSOLENT—!!”
BOOM!
The giant prince stomped forward and punched the ground, activating a powerful skill.
[Wrath of Skyrend: Titan’s Descent!]
A pillar of scarlet light burst forth, cloaking him in a golden-red aura. His muscles swelled, his body doubling in size, and the ground beneath him cracked like dried glass. He charged with terrifying speed—too fast for his height.
With a bestial roar, the giant channeled mana into his blade and slashed furiously. A massive wave of destructive energy shot out.
“Barbarian Strength!” Nox shouted, his own muscles swirling with power and divine intimidation.
His body pulsed with raw force as Glacier’s End materialized in his grasp.
He had chosen this skill because he recognized the enemy’s was a strength-enhancing type, just like Barbarian Strength.
The mont he swung his arm—
CRACK!!!
A frigid-blue slash, swirling with lightning and deep violet flas, tore through the air, slicing Gideon’s mana wave in half and continuing, unstoppable, toward the stunned giants.
“W-what!” Gideon’s entire body trembled in fear and shock as he leapt out of the way of the ice-infused, lightning and fla attack.
BOOM!!!
It was as if a star detonated on the battlefield.
Blood sprayed into the sky like crimson fireworks. One of the giants didn’t even have ti to scream before being splattered like a lon. Another’s arm spiraled through the air, crashing down like a collapsing tower.
“What… what the hell is that skill!?” one of them gasped, staggering back with disbelief and confusion.
But Nox was already dashing forward like a blur. With Barbarian Strength active, he didn’t need to activate Divine Velocity.
He reappeared behind another giant, his palm slamming into the back of its skull.
BOOM!
The skull caved in, blood and bone erupting like a fountain. The massive body dropped, twitching once before falling still.
“Three down,” Nox whispered.
The battlefield was a bloodbath now.
Nathan’s mouth twitched, then a proud smile slowly spread across his face. “Okay, I officially feel old.”
Everyone present watched in stunned silence, unable to believe what they had just seen.
It was at that mont that most of them wanted to know Nox’s level.
LV. 100
“Holy shit!” Rab exclaid in shock.
Gasps erupted.
The battlefield, already a ss after Nox went wild, suddenly went dead quiet. The kind of silence that hits after sothing crazy just happened. Nobody moved. Nobody spoke. Everyone just stood there, staring, like they couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
“That can’t be right…” soone murmured, blinking repeatedly, as if hoping the number would change if she looked hard enough.
But it didn’t.
LV. 100
Those two digits shone clearly above his head, projected briefly by the mana aura that had burst from his body.
“H-he’s only what… sixteen? Seventeen? At Level 100?!”
“Are you sure it’s not an illusion? So kind of projection? A fake display?”
But they all saw it.
[LV. 100]
There was no mistake.
“Guildmaster… what does this an?” soone asked, still reeling in shock and disbelief.
Boris sighed. He was still trying to co to terms with it.
“What it ans,” he said slowly, “is that we’ve all been living in a sandbox while this kid’s been playing in a goddamn volcano.”
What Boris didn’t ntion was that… even for his level, the kid was simply too powerful. He was certain even he couldn’t kill three powerful giants in one attack.
“Those… if I sensed correctly, he activated three skills at once—and… they were all Ultimate Tier skills.”
anwhile, the fight continued uninterrupted. Nox had killed two more giants, leaving only the prince for last—wanting his death to be more painful and humiliating.
Gideon, once arrogant and proud, dropped his blade. Fear rose in his heart. He began backing away, muttering like soone who had gone mad.
“This… this isn’t possible… a human shouldn’t be this strong.”
But Nox didn’t give him the chance.
He appeared before Gideon, hovering just slightly off the ground. His dark midnight eyes glowed, sparking with an unnatural brilliance.
“You’re leaving? But I haven’t even thanked you… for making look cool in front of my family.”
He raised a single finger.
CRASH!
A beam of pure holy light pierced the heavens and slamd into Gideon’s chest.
The giant prince scread as he was blown backward, his armor lting, skin cracking, and body swallowed by the earth itself.
Nothing but a crater remained.
[Ding! You have killed Level 89 Giant Princw Gideon Skyrend]
[You received experience points.]
After the prince’s death, blood soaked the field.
There was a mont of silence before chants erupted behind him.
“Nox! Nox! Nox!”
The citizens, soldiers, even the students—chanted his na. They chanted like their lives depended on it, voices filled with relief and chaotic admiration.
His eyes glinted as a smug smile appeared on his hanso face.
“Yup. I’m back.”
