Chapter 68: Parent-Teacher eting
Arriving in the classroom, Lin Xiaowan had already turned on the lights and opened the windows. Seeing Su Lin co in, she expressed her surprise, “Su Lin, you’re here so early?”
Su Lin nodded, “Of course, I have to be early. Otherwise, I might lose my future wife.”
“Stop it, what are you talking about?” Xiaowan retorted playfully, throwing an eraser at Su Lin, who skillfully dodged it.
“Tsk tsk, Xiaowan, you seem to have violent tendencies. I’m seriously doubting my future life now; I might die of dostic violence.”
Seeing the mischievous smile on Su Lin’s face, Xiaowan instinctively felt it was a double entendre but couldn’t figure out where exactly.
“Dostic violence? Hmm, you should be scared. It’s not too late to regret it now.”
“Dostic violence? I can handle that,” Su Lin said, placing the eraser back on the teacher’s desk.
“I saw an Audi A6 earlier. The man inside looked about forty, quite world-weary, wearing a mud-colored coat. Could that be my future father-in-law?” Su Lin asked with a grin.
“What future father-in-law? That’s my dad. Where did you see him?”
“In the car. He was glaring at , as if he wanted to kill . But I can assure you, apart from that one ti we had dinner, I haven’t seen your dad. I can’t figure out why he was glaring at ,” Su Lin said, puzzled.
“Glaring at you? That is odd. But this morning, I woke my dad up early to take to school. Considering his rare rest ti, it’s all because of you that I’ve beco like this,” Xiaowan said, also giving Su Lin a glare.
Her expression was quite similar to Lin Guoqiang’s.
“Uh… Xiaowan, you can’t bla for your filial piety issues.”
“My filial piety is fine. The problem is you. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have thought of such a bad idea, so it’s still your fault.”
“Okay, okay, you’re right, you make sense. Here’s a hug of love to compensate you,” Su Lin said, opening his arms, which Xiaowan dodged, “That’s not compensating ; that’s for yourself.”
Su Lin glanced at Xiaowan’s chest, sowhat surprised, feeling it had grown larger. Xia Shiyu had been eating with them too, and he even helped her with blood circulation occasionally, yet she didn’t seem to grow at all.

“Cough cough… Xiaowan, don’t wear this outfit out anymore. Did you bring your uniform? Put it on.”
“You want to die of heat?”
By mid-April, the dayti temperature in Zhongjiang was already over twenty degrees, and many people had started wearing short sleeves, but so girls still wore jackets. Xiaowan was one of them.

“He is? It’s normal for your dad to attend, isn’t it?”

“How could I? We’re not dating at all.”

She now regretted praising Su Lin too much in the past. Thinking about it, she had indeed exaggerated his virtues.

Soon after the bell rang, Teacher Wang Yi entered the classroom with exam papers, along with a ranking list showing everyone’s grades and class ranks.
“Lin Xiaowan, co up and distribute the math papers and this list. Everyone gets a copy.”
As Xiaowan stood up to distribute the papers, Teacher Wang Yi continued, “Since we have a ranking list, we won’t announce the scores today. Everyone knows their own scores, so there’s no need to report them each ti.”
“Our class still has three students in the top ten of the whole school. However, so students’ grades have fluctuated too much, so they need to focus more.”
Turning to Ye Feng, Teacher Wang Yi said, “Ye Feng, your math results were not ideal. You made mistakes in areas you shouldn’t have. You need to solidify your math knowledge.”
Ye Feng nodded silently, knowing his midterm exam results would drop. His super mory had declined significantly, and he was forgetting things he had previously mastered.
Blaming it on his rebirth, Ye Feng was in a constant state of confusion, unsure when his past mories would vanish completely, reducing his mory to that of an ordinary person.
Despite focusing solely on studies recently, he could only maintain his grades.

Su Lin nodded confidently, while Xiaowan felt a bit down, realizing this was her best performance yet but still not matching Su Lin, who scored full marks in all subjects except Chinese.
“Lastly, about the parent-teacher eting. It’s on Saturday afternoon at one. All students are off, and it’s crucial for parents to attend. We have many things to discuss with parents regarding the upcoming college entrance exams.”
“Su Lin, Xiaowan, your parents have never appeared at school since high school. This is sowhat unacceptable. Don’t tell they’re too busy; try your best to get them to co.”
Su Lin smiled but didn’t respond. Since his rebirth, he hadn’t seen Su Zhenguo at ho, always busy at construction sites. The likelihood of him attending a parent-teacher eting was slim.
Xiaowan, however, nodded and glanced worriedly at Su Lin, knowing Lin Guoqiang’s visit would cause a sensation. She was curious to see how Su Lin, who never suffered a loss, would handle the situation.
As Xiaowan thought about it, she couldn’t help but look forward to the sparks that might fly between Su Lin and her father.
