Chapter 143: Giving Qin Jiuyue an Unforgettable Night
As Xiao Chen left the scene after Su Lin and Qin Jiuyue departed, he was filled with anger. The fact that the beautiful woman was taken away by Su Lin had irked him greatly.

The woman, known as Blood Rose, responded with a cold snort and brandished a dagger, ready to defend herself.
The middle-aged man attacked, aiming to finish Blood Rose off, but Xiao Chen shouted and intervened. He managed to whisk Blood Rose away, landing several ters back with her in his arms.
The middle-aged man, taken aback by Xiao Chen’s intervention, asked, “Who are you to interfere in the matters of the Assassin Guild?”
“I am your father,” Xiao Chen arrogantly replied.
Xiao Chen had never experienced such a situation in his twenty-two years. Everyone seed to underestimate him and question his identity. But as the heir of the Ghost Doctor, his status was no less than anyone else’s.
After repelling the man with a single palm strike, Xiao Chen turned to Blood Rose, who had fainted. He imdiately removed her veil, revealing a beautiful and resilient face.

After a mont of silence, Qin Jiuyue inquired, “Su Lin, do you think my status is a blessing or a curse?”
“Of course, it’s a blessing. How could it not be? You were born with a silver spoon, far better off than ordinary people.”
“But I… I have everything but no freedom. Ordinary people may seem to have nothing, yet they live carefree and unburdened. Sotis I envy them.”
“They can make many friends, travel where they wish, laugh and cry freely, and fall in love. I, on the other hand, have always been the obedient girl, expected to enter an arranged marriage and beco a dutiful wife.”

Su Lin responded with a smile, “You’ve had a better life than others since childhood, enjoying the best resources and education. You can’t have it all without giving sothing in return.”

Qin Jiuyue remained silent.
“Su Lin, I understand what you’re saying, but… I still can’t accept it. Maybe after graduating from college, I’ll have to marry soone from a family like mine. I can’t imagine living a life of scheming against my spouse. If that’s my future, I…”

“Really? Do you know her?” Qin Jiuyue asked, surprised.
“I don’t, but I’m good at reading people,” Su Lin replied.
Recalling previous conversations with Su Lin, Qin Jiuyue had to admit he was right.
“Ah, I’ve never been to an amusent park, a bar, raced cars, or tried roller skating. There are so many things I want to do, but I don’t want to get married so soon,” Qin Jiuyue confessed with a tinge of regret.
“Who would have thought a princess like you would have such worries and odd interests,” Su Lin remarked.
“They’re not odd. I’ve always heard my classmates talk about these places with such excitent in their eyes.”
“Guess what I wished for today?” Qin Jiuyue looked at Su Lin.
He watched her quietly.
“I wished to ride a roller coaster before graduating from college. I’ve heard my classmates talk about it since junior high – how scary and thrilling it is. It’s funny, isn’t it?”
Seeing Qin Jiuyue’s forlorn expression, Su Lin said, “I might know a way for you to experience a roller coaster ride, but it’s even more thrilling. The question is, do you dare to try?”
Her eyes widening with excitent, Qin Jiuyue eagerly responded, “Really? You’re not lying to ?”
Su Lin nodded affirmatively, “Of course it’s true. But you have to promise , after I’ve shown you, you must keep it a secret and not tell anyone.”
“All this secrecy, I promise, okay?”
Pleased with her response, Su Lin smiled, “Alright, since you’ve agreed, I’ll take you for a ride. Just to be clear, this is my first ti doing this for soone else, so there might be so unexpected occurrences. You can’t betray later.”
Patting her chest, Qin Jiuyue assured, “Don’t worry, you can trust my integrity.”
Qin Jiuyue, not suspecting any ill intentions from Su Lin, followed along without worry. Her bold and adventurous nature, combined with her curiosity, made her eager to find out what kind of thrilling experience Su Lin was going to provide.
Su Lin wore a smile, confident that this night would be unforgettable for Qin Jiuyue.
They drove to a riverside in the suburbs, where only the chirping of frogs and cicadas and the bright moonlight could be heard.
After getting out of the car, Qin Jiuyue looked around and questioned, “There’s nothing here. How are you going to give a roller coaster ride?”
With a gentle smile, Su Lin responded, “Just hold on tight to . I won’t be responsible if you fall.”
Before she could finish her question, Su Lin had already swept her off her feet and soared into the sky.
Qin Jiuyue scread in shock and excitent as they flew. Su Lin tapped the water surface with his foot, propelling them up several ters into the air.
“Stop screaming, do you want to alert everyone around?” Su Lin gently scolded.
Hearing his voice, Qin Jiuyue tightened her grip around Su Lin’s waist and slowly opened her eyes. She saw their shadows, cast by the moonlight, leaping high and falling back down. They flew over a tree and soared dozens of ters away.
“How’s this for a thrill? Better than a roller coaster, right?”
Overwheld, Qin Jiuyue replied, “It’s exhilarating… Su Lin, slow down, I can barely keep my eyes open.”
In response, Su Lin swiftly ascended a small hill several hundred ters high.
“Now, try opening your eyes,” Su Lin said with a light chuckle.
Qin Jiuyue opened her eyes and found themselves standing on the fresh branches of a tree, steady and secure. She looked around with awe and longing.
Compared to this, roller coasters, bars, and street racing seed utterly mundane. What could be more thrilling than flying freely through the air?
