His nephew Lin Tian was also involved, along with Luo Sihai, Su Lin, and Su Zhenguo. With the railway line about to open, the whole situation in Donghai seed entangled in a strange vortex, with his daughter on the periphery.
Originally, his first instinct was to ask Zhao Yanyan to quit her job and focus on dance, but seeing how satisfied she had been recently, he decided to bring up the matter subtly.

Lin Xiaowan, covering her flushed face, expressed her worries, “Su Lin, do you think my parents will notice anything? My face is still so red.”
Su Lin glanced at her and reassured, “It’s not very noticeable. Just say you’re feeling hot.”
“Really? Will that work?” Lin Xiaowan asked skeptically.
Su Lin nodded confidently, “Trust , just say you’re hot. It’s like when you’re flushed after running.”
“If it weren’t for you driving, I would have smacked you right now,” Lin Xiaowan said half-jokingly.
“Ahem, we’re here,” Su Lin quickly announced as they arrived.
Zhao Yanyan laughed at Su Lin’s deanor, “You’re so fierce when you’re bullying others but now playing it safe?”
“A man needs to know when to be tough and when to back down,” Su Lin replied with a smile.
“Forget it, I won’t argue with you. Arguing with you would only make more frustrated!” Lin Xiaowan exclaid.
