Zhang You wanted to arrange a music-thed room, hoping the room would be filled with musical elents.
Related to musical elents, naturally, there were a vast array of instrunts, endlessly fascinating sheet music, and music dissemination diums like CDs and more.
At first, setting up a music-thed room seed rather simple, but when it actually ca to gathering the materials, he found it difficult—the range of "music" was just too broad.
Ji Jiaming and Zhang You plunged into the purchasing market, and were imdiately so confused they couldn’t find their bearings.
Ji Jiaming was just an assistant, responsible for buying and fetching items, what the room should look like was all up to Zhang You.
Zhang You initially wanted to buy a guitar, but even a subpar one would cost eight or nine hundred, spending that much would reduce their funds by nearly a fifth, not to ntion the many other music-related items they still had to buy.
Just thinking about it, Ji Jiaming felt there were so many upcoming expenses, he ntioned the funding issue to Zhang You.
Zhang You felt the sa, buying a guitar would consu too much of their funds, so he gave up on the idea of a guitar.
Walking along the road, he saw a music store, went in and ca out with a flute and so sheet music.
Ji Jiaming couldn’t help but ask, "Are you going to use these to decorate the room?"
Zhang You nodded, "The flute can be hung on the wall, and the sheet music can be placed at a corner of the desk."
Ji Jiaming humd, not saying anymore. As they walked on, he saw Zhang You enter another music store, and co out with a small, quaint ukulele, then smilingly said to him:
"I found a replacent for the guitar, a ukulele works just fine. It too can be hung on the wall, and it’s not expensive."
Ji Jiaming nodded, echoing him, "Oh, that’s good, what style do you want to decorate your room in?"
With this question, both of them were stunned.
Right, they had only decided that the room should be filled with musical elents. Music was just one elent, but they hadn’t decided on a specific style yet.
If they were to create based on musical elents alone, even just looking at musical styles, there were many kinds.
Classical nostalgia, modern rock, ancient style, ani tunes, and so on; instrunts were divided into Western and Eastern, with various diums including speakers, mp3s, and last century’s record players...
Aimlessly searching could very likely end up with them buying a bunch of stuff they didn’t need.
The sowhat late realization prompted the two to quickly discuss their strategy.
Classical nostalgic style was hard to source items for, while modern rock items were easier to acquire but they didn’t have enough money—a single electric guitar could take up a fifth of the funds.
After much discussion, they narrowed their focus to contemporary popular music, with a style leaning toward modern chic.
Once they settled on a the, their planning beca clearer. Zhang You went into a stationery store and bought notes and pens, making a list of everything they needed.
Music-thed stickers, large background decal, various small music-related hangings, decorations, and so instrunts that fit the chic characteristics, shelves for displaying instrunts...
Having broadly listed what they needed, Zhang You and Ji Jiaming split up, one to buy stickers and the other to buy hangings.
Once he had a clear goal, Zhang You’s luck seed to turn around spectacularly; he found desirable music decorations in every accessory store he entered.
Within just an hour, he had bought all the hangings, and even ended up giving autographs after being recognized by several fans.
Contrastingly, Ji Jiaming’s luck wasn’t as good.
There were many places selling stickers, and he first went to look in a stationery store.
"Do you have any stickers?" he asked the shopkeeper.
"Yes, over there, there’s a pile!"
Ji Jiaming walked over and faced the pile of ani character stickers, swallowing hard.
He took a deep breath, and the next second, squatted down and began searching through the scattered pile for the stickers he wanted.
For Ji Jiaming, the best way to search was to organize, even though he knew he was rushed for ti on the show and didn’t really want to sort through the stickers.
But once he started to focus, he subconsciously began organizing, and by the ti he realized it, a small pile of stickers had already been categorized.
One pile was male ani characters, another was female ani characters, one was animals and plants from nature, and another was lifeless objects like clocks, various types of stationery, buildings, and other stickers.
Ji Jiaming looked at the caraman who had moved closer to shoot a close-up, gave a helpless smile to the cara, and flashed his big white teeth:
"I didn’t an to, I really didn’t an to arrange them this neatly, I swear I don’t have OCD!"
His tone was so sincere he almost raised his hand to swear to the heavens!
However, who would believe you...23333
Lad, touch your heart and say that again, doesn’t your heart ache?
Never mind what the audience will think when this episode airs, the caraman on site didn’t believe for a second that "Ji Jiaming doesn’t have OCD."
Ji Jiaming searched diligently for over twenty minutes, arranging the ssy stickers neatly, but he didn’t find any music-related stickers and walked out of the stationery store dejectedly to look for another one.
Luckily, he found them at the second stationery store and excitedly went to pay the owner, but the owner said, "This sticker is not for sale!"
Not for sale, not for sale, not for sale...the phrase looped demonically a hundred tis in his mind.
Ji Jiaming’s body stiffened, as if petrified, and it took him a while to ask, "Why isn’t it for sale?"
"It’s been reserved by soone else and temporarily placed here," the owner explained.
Ji Jiaming’s expression was desolate as he walked out of the stationery store, his figure incredibly bleak, as if only missing a forlorn scene of autumn leaves being swept by the wind.
The caraman chose this mont to move closer and captured his dispirited deanor.
Ji Jiaming lifted his head and sighed softly to the cara, speaking with imnse regret, "I actually had a hunch earlier because those music stickers were really pretty, completely different from the other stickers the store had on display."
"What’s it called, right, the quality, the quality was totally different! One looked very ordinary, and the other looked upscale, sigh!"
He clapped his hands, still annoyed, "Why didn’t I ask earlier, so stupid!"
Emmm, that indeed sounds pretty foolish.
Fortunately, fate favors the diligent, and Ji Jiaming found the stickers he wanted at the third store. This ti, he didn’t enter the stationery store but rather a shop specializing in room decorations, and finally found them.
Task completed, he hurried to et up with Zhang You.
When they t, they joyfully shared their successes.
Everything went relatively smoothly, and they had finished buying all the small details. Next was the ti to purchase so bigger items and to see how much funds were left—half remained!
This budget was more than enough for so small musical instrunts to buy without a second thought!
Just as they were about to go to the music store excitedly, they suddenly received a call from the directing team.
"Ah, what, we have to go pull in tomorrow’s guests ourselves?!" Zhang You asked in utter shock.
