“The Demon-san is joking,” Thunderbolt earnestly adopted a karate stance, “For soone like you who defeated the Chikou Evil Spirit, re ninja tools are hardly worth ntioning.”
“Why not explain it at the venue now?”
“Regretfully, I’m afraid I cannot comply.” Thunderbolt sealed with both hands, “Swift as the wind, moved like thunder. Strange Phase·Reveal, Sky-breaking Blade, Thunder of Divine Sound!”
After the declaration, lightning flickered. The Ninja’s body and armor transford together into a lightning elental form. Thunderbolt’s hands transford into blades made of electrical light in a fleeting flash. The Ninja surged forward like a railgun, slashing at the opponent with the Thunder Blade!
“Ee-yah-!”
Having completed the elental transformation, Thunderbolt possessed a speed surpassing swift winds as per his declaration. The strike, comparable to lightning, outpaced sound but failed to deliver a true slash. Gongsun Ce dodged, as if foresight enabled him, and the electric blade touched only his afterimage!
The finishing slash after a vertical strike was likewise avoided by the youth with an elusive maneuver. After two probing slashes, Thunderbolt executed a series of backward flips to widen the distance. Gongsun Ce didn’t attack but rely smiled and said, “Can you go faster?”
The Ninja’s competitiveness quietly ignited. “Underestimated, aren’t I?” Thunderbolt dismissed his foolish probing intent and unleashed the ultimate power of his body, transforming like his Ninja na into a golden thunderbolt. Gongsun Ce also accelerated, becoming a grey phantom above the high sky.
Golden and grey afterimages intersected multiple tis in an instant; within a second, they left the rooftop of Y·C Industries and soared through the urban skyline like two roaming dragons. In one instant they stood on the surface of a building’s glass wall, the next mont they were dashing through the busy roads. In a re three minutes, their battlefield had traversed most of the city, with no citizens realizing the rapid battle occurring beside them, resembling fleeting blurs before a closed eye, two flashes in the bustling city.
Thunderbolt had entered overload mode three seconds earlier, hoping to fleetingly suppress the enemy by squeezing out Spirit Light and physical prowess, even for a mont, but Gongsun Ce’s speed only escalated alongside his acceleration, this young individual’s strength was as unfathomable as his illustrious reputation. The Ninja was unhard, as the elentalized body allowed him to evade telekinesis and whiteness projections, but he knew inside that he had already lost. Because their battle had reached such a degree, without causing any damage to the surrounding environnt.
The young man was strong enough to smooth out sonic booms amidst high-speed combat. The Demon didn’t even need to employ the Impermanence Skill to effortlessly defeat him!
The night before the action, Thunderbolt told the president that everyone has limits. Now he saw his limits with unparalleled clarity. Limits are like that, hanging above you like a board, seemingly within reach with just a little more effort. Yet no matter how hard you try, no matter how ticulous you work, that board forever remains just out of reach… Until you beco tired, weary, and frustrated enough to finally understand that the seemingly tiny distance is actually infinity between heaven and earth.

Thunderbolt halted, breathing heavily. They had returned to the rooftop of Y·C Industries, Gongsun Ce still tossing the shuriken, as if the minutes-long chase was an illusion.
“Let’s call it a day, Thunderbolt-san.” Gongsun Ce inserted his hand into his pocket, “Don’t use that thing on your body. I don’t know if it’s Heart Phase Weapon or so black technology, but it’s sothing you cannot bear.”
Thunderbolt’s alloy armor had streams of electric light flowing like a dangerously overcharged crystal mine. The Ninja stood firm, removed his face mask, revealing a weathered face of a middle-aged man.
