Capítulo 922: Chapter 6: Rainbow Descending from the Heavens_3
A mont ago, the bridge was filled with tension, the sofas occupied by his teammates. A mont later, everyone disappeared, and the bridge was shrouded in a gray haze, devoid of life, as if a gray filter had descended upon it. The surroundings were shockingly cold, as if walking naked in an icy wasteland, with the source of the extre cold flickering behind him like a cold fla.
A woman with black clothes and red eyes appeared from the silence, her blood-red-black hair fluttering in the blazing star.
“—The Silent King?”
The Silent King’s deanor was not as violent as last ti; this ti, her eyes held a strange expression that Gongsun Ce thought was confusion. She looked towards the right of the bridge, where a point of rainbow light shimred outside the one-way transparent glass.
“…Very strange.” The Silent King said, “Get ready.”
The Silent King vanished from his view, and the gray filter disappeared. The encounter with the Silent King seed like a fleeting illusion, with nothing changed in real life. Everyone was still on the sofa, Seviss was holding a gun, and the Ranger’s words echoed in his ears. “Don’t think you can get away with it, my reinforcents are strong…” Gongsun Ce felt as if he was listening to soone else talk, bewildered. “Ce.” At the sa mont, he heard the Dawn Knight’s warning, and Gongsun Ce imdiately made a judgnt.
“Ling!”
With the ticking of a clock, ti within the bridge slowed to a near halt. A surge of telekinesis swept the spacecraft, providing invisible protection for everyone and everything important. Gongsun Ce pushed everyone to the sides of the bridge using telekinesis, leaving an empty path in the middle, and constructed multiple layers of protection on the sides with white matter.
“Dreamland has been neutralized,” Shiyu Ling frowned, “Creation Realm Level… Get ready!”
The rainbow flash slowly enlarged in the near-halted world as the flow of ti returned to normal. The rainbow-like light pierced through the thick hull, with neither the protective force field nor the tal barriers able to stop it even for a mont. The storm it stirred sent the white matter barriers flying like confetti, its force reminiscent of the dreaded Evil Star tearing through the sky!
The ferocious rainbow stopped on the other side of the bridge, with high-altitude winds rushing in wildly through the hull breaches, rustling everyone’s hair. It was a girl just over ten years old, with rainbow-colored short hair. Her clothes were made of an unrecognizable silver material, covering her body from the neck down, resembling an alien spacesuit from a 1990s sci-fi movie.
She seed to have stopped mid-way due to so accident, evidenced by how she halted just before crashing into the opposite hull.
“Hello?” Gongsun Ce tentatively said.
The rainbow-haired girl ignored him, looked at Qin Qianbai, and made a satisfied and appreciative sound like a big boss encountering an excellent employee during an inspection.
“Hmm.”
The alien slightly nodded, then looked at Seviss with a louder mumbling.
“Hmm~”
She finally looked at Gongsun Ce, and her gaze and deanor reminded him of a green-clad swordsman.
“Hmm…? Ha.”
She smiled like a child who had found sothing amusing, and that interest, like a child’s, vanished in the blink of an eye.
With a boom, she crashed through the second hull and left as naturally as she had arrived. Like a bird passing through a human settlent, curious enough to take a glance, then spread its wings and flew back into the sky. The two large holes she made turned the bridge into a ventilation structure with airflow from both sides, and everyone truly understood what it ant to be “ssed up by the wind.” Qiluo quietly reminded, “The force field generator is heavily damaged, and the propulsion system is also malfunctioning…”
“What about my ship?!” Shiyu Ling scread.
“Not to ntion since when did the Dawn Star beco your property…” Qiluo said, “It’s going to crash.”
“Damn it, you stop right there!”
Shiyu Ling, furious, disappeared from the bridge. Qin Qianbai glared angrily at the Ranger beside, Seviss grinned awkwardly and shrank her neck, speaking in an exceedingly fawning manner, “I really didn’t call for this kind of reinforcent, truly, you have to believe in my professionalism… This is really a misunderstanding!!”
Without a word, the Ranger leaped out of the heavily damaged airship, bravely flying towards the earth that nurtured her with no defensive asures. Qin Qianbai casually created a long black knife from the air and quickly chased after the Ranger’s silhouette.
Gongsun Ce covered his forehead on the sofa, frowning, “I didn’t even get the chance to give orders… I’m the captain! Heaven knows, is there anyone on this ship who listens to ?!”
“A new team always needs ti to adapt,” Alandia comforted, “Not everyone was as obedient as you were back then.”
“Look on the bright side, at least Alandia and I listen to you,” Qiluo projected a damage report of the ship with built-in devices, with most areas flashing alarming red dots, “What do we do now, Captain? We are expected to reach the magnetic turbulence zone in 30 seconds.”
Gongsun Ce took a deep breath and shouted in resignation, “Crash landing! Just find a place to bring the ship down!”
“It seems like every ti we fly, it ends like this…”
“Ce, do you often crash?”
“I’m not, I haven’t… At least falling straight from the sky is really the first ti!!!”
With the help of telekinesis, the Dawn Star nose-dived towards the earth, a scene foretelling the calamity-ridden future of this voyage. Their landing site was in the outskirts of Xuan Ci State, near a small town, beside a small bank.
A priest was queuing to withdraw his monthly salary here, and in five seconds, like the beginning of many road movies, a group of cyborg bandits would burst into the bank, starting a ticulously planned heist.
