The pillar was woven from countless gray-white threads, resembling a cocoon magnified thousands of tis, strands extending from the pillar, connecting to various parts of the colorful city, as if the weaver controlled the city beneath its feet in this way.
The elevator door opened, a pale-faced man bowed to the two, wearing a high hat and dressed in white.
