The morning sun shone into the hospital corridor, casting the white tiles in a golden hue. The ward behind them had been urgently transford into a storeroom-like structure, where crystals from all over the capital had been transported. The blonde female knight repeatedly used her power in the room, attempting to perform a miracle by reversing cause and effect. However, the shattered crystals yielded not human bodies, but skeletal remains more refined, resembling crystal beings.
In the end, the golden light ceased to shine, and Orianna’s sobs echoed from the ward, while Mo Yuankai offered quiet comfort as he helped the red-eyed knight walk out of the room. As he exited, he saw Gongsun Ce sitting by the door, chanically asking, “Situ Yi and the Hidden Law Master…”
Orianna wiped her tears vigorously, and Mo Yuankai patted his comrade’s shoulder, speaking hoarsely and without strength, “Ah Ce, stop asking.”

Gongsun Ce stared at him in a daze, at the people around him. He freed himself from their support, and, like a zombie, walked away stiffly.
He passed one hospital room after another, seeing many familiar faces, spotting Gafri and Rakael, successfully rescued and now resting quietly, and seeing the injured Luo Ningles still in a coma. He stopped before the last room in the corridor, turning the doorknob.
The door opened, and Alandia lay on the bed, her sleeping face serene and relaxed, unlike her usual almost indifferent calm. He sat by the bed, trembling as he held Alandia’s hand.
The Dawn Knight was truly relieved now, no longer burdened by responsibilities or duties, having accomplished everything she needed to. After passing on the Spirit Light to Gongsun Ce, she entered a deep sleep, and Yan Qi said it was unprecedented and that she would remain asleep for a long ti, potentially not waking for a year.
Gongsun Ce recalled her instructions, reminiscing about every mont spent with her, guilt and self-reproach soaking his heart, rendering the youth speechless. He hadn’t managed to do anything, and when it was ti to leave, he couldn’t even say a word to Alandia.
