Capítulo 885: Chapter 62: Life Is Like a Play

The misty giant dragon disintegrated in the brilliance. The victorious chanical divine being stood tall upon the earth.

The all-consuming mist retreated, with the true Supibia reclaid by the Creator Realm Mage’s power. A faint ray fell, and the Netherworld Eyes were once more severed, falling to a position far from the battlefield. No one noticed this detail, for millions of life stars were racing towards various parts of the royal capital, the lives restored by the power of the celestial rotation, reappearing at their original locations at the sa mont.

The headquarters of the Knight Order, knights and their attendants stared in shock at their own hands.

At the Mage Academy, the mages were overwheld by the mories in their hearts.

Inside the royal palace, the Third Princess Grey held her head, pondering confusedly over the visions within her mind.

In the eastern district, people from the parade returned to the bridge, exchanging bewildered looks with the officers who had tried to stop them.

Similar scenes occurred all over the royal capital, with everyone pausing their tasks. In that instant returning from the mist, people saw the sa image—the final strike of the chanical deity against the evil dragon. The incredibly shocking mory made people instinctively stop their actions and express their astonishnt in waves.

“Was it a dragon?” “The giant of duel day?” “Did you see it too!” “Dragon Disaster?” “Was it dragon slaying just now?!” “So, indeed… are we…?”

In an old residential building in the eastern district of the royal capital, Tierlos stared incredulously at his own hands. He vividly rembered the despair when the mist dissolved him, rembered everyone’s terrified screams at that mont. And now his body was back… the house too, Capro as well…

“Big brother, big brother!” Capro called out excitedly. “Ah, ah.” Tierlos responded unconsciously, tears streaming down his face as he cried uncontrollably.

“It’s all over!” the ruffian said delightedly, “We are saved!!!”

The ruffians danced in joy, shouting and yelling incoherently, everywhere there were cries bordering on madness. Tierlos inadvertently glanced out the window, towards the midnight’s dark sky.

The sky was brighter than he imagined. The ruffian saw sothing strange, he was a bit confused.

“…What’s the matter?”

[With the efforts of the “Seventh Knight,” “Hero of the Skies,” and various supporting characters, love and courage eventually created a miracle. The 21,375,249 individuals who should have fully rged with the Netherworld Dragon to help the Faceless God achieve eternity were returned to the real royal capital by the power of the miracle.

The Netherworld Dragon thus fell, and there will be no more Netherworld disasters in this world. This is the mark carved by the characters on the wheel of heaven, a miracle that cannot be surpassed even if ti rewinds.]

Yuliy struggled to push off a twisted piece of armor, limping out of the cockpit.

The strong light and mist had only just dispersed a mont ago, and he could not see his surroundings clearly now. The disintegration of the chanical deity caused considerable impact, and the knight’s face was scarred by tal shards. He took several monts to finally regain his senses.

He was standing by the bank of a great river, the river that divided the Inner City District from the White Stone District. The remains of the artificial god stood amidst rubble, which seed to have once been a theater. The chanical deity’s arms had disappeared, being the first to disintegrate due to the imnse counterforce in its final blow, blown far away, with Gafri and Rakael presumably still in the cockpit within the arm sections, hopefully alive.

Alive, alive… what about the others… Yuliy dazedly patted his head and shouted: “Is everyone still here!!”

Thud thud. A sound of knocking ca from not far away, Yuliy hurriedly ran over, and with effort, moved the iron plate. Weak Sara lay sprawled on the ground, her brows curved like the moon.

“Please, Yuliy,” Sara murmured, “Your voice is too loud, you woke up.”

Yuliy dragged her out of the cockpit, hugging her with overwhelming joy. Sara nuzzled his cheek, her face slightly red. A faintly annoyed voice ca from behind the two.

“Have strength to hug a woman… co over and lend your brother a hand…”

The two knights quickly separated, running together towards the central main cockpit of the chanical deity. The gray-haired youth poked his head out from the faded lion’s mouth, grinning foolishly.

The three of them together moved the rest of their teammates out of the machine. The unconscious Alandia had only suffered so superficial injuries, Mo Yuankai and Orianna were extrely weak but still breathing. They were already exhausted, the miracle of willpower sustained them until now only to collapse after all the trials.

“Damn it,” Gongsun Ce cursed, carrying Alandia with the support of two knights. “Damn it,” he repeated. “This really is the most… most…”

“Unbelievable?” Sara said.

“Yes, the most damn unbelievable thing.” Gongsun Ce nodded. The series of events occurring in just one night gave him a dreamlike sense of confusion, the overly lengthy experience in a short period made his senses detach from his body, as if watching an opera perford by everyone in an empty theater. In the previous act, everyone was busy at headquarters, and in the next act, everyone was fighting at the dragon slaying battlefield; not long ago he was mourning the death of people, and in a blink, they seemingly should celebrate victory, as if the curtain fell and rose again, characters reading a new script, performing the next show.

Gongsun Ce said hoarsely: “I don’t even know what emotions to show now… I want to cry and laugh.”
