The ape’s head slid off its neck, and pungent beast blood gushed like a fountain.

He sheathed his weapon, as he rode past the giant ape’s corpse. Knights in black armor and on black steeds erged from the mist, silently following the Shadow Hunter Knight, like a black cloak gathering in the fog. Shadow-like powers extended from Gafri’s side, resonating with Rakael’s Manifestation Domain. The starlight armor amplified their manifestation range, allowing the two knights to guard the entire east sector, serving as the front line of defense against the beast and undead incursions.
“You truly are a gentleman.” Rakael turned, assembling his subordinates, “Everyone, follow !”
His attendant Vesa Curry ca hurriedly, bloodstains on his helt still fresh: “Knight Rakael, the Second Prince’s forces have joined us!”
“Your Highness? You—”
Another cavalry unit arrived, their leader indeed the Second Prince Jackson. He nodded to Rakael: “No need for formalities, I saw the battle here and ca to join.
