Chapter 703: Chapter 1: Heroes of the Azure Sky_4

The passengers who had escaped death were all sobbing. It took Orianna a while to truly understand what had happened. She took a deep breath, pressing her hand to her chest and said, “It’s over…”

After the transformation, the front end of the vehicle beca the entrance hall of the first floor. The Daoist Master whistled and stepped out of the building first.

“It’s over? What’s over?” the young man couldn’t help but chuckle, “It’s just begun.”

“Warning! Warning! A major biochemical outbreak has occurred in the western central district. Citizens are advised to evacuate in an orderly manner and pay attention to personal safety. I repeat, a major biochemical outbreak has occurred in the western central district—”

Woo! Woo! The alarm sounded, slicing through the calm air, and Orianna, stepping out of the small building, saw a new wave of explosions and blazing fires! The new types of buildings collapsed like blocks in the distance, and erging from the smoke and dust was a giant monster over 50 ters tall. Its sturdy muscles made for a tower-like symtrical figure, its gray-blue tough skin provided unmistakable defensive strength, and the spiny protrusions from its back ford a structure like a cannon barrel. The ferocious head made Orianna think of dragons for a mont.

“You’ve got to be kidding …” she heard the Daoist Master sigh, “What’s this with Biochemical Synthetic Dragons? Hasn’t this damned experint project been banned yet?”

Orianna had no ti to think about his words. This monster, even if placed in a monster movie from the Confederacy, would be a nightmare worthy of a final scene, but she was seeing not just one—ten giant beasts were rampaging through the city, their bodies even covering the blue of the sky!

How were they supposed to fight this? Even if the Starlight Knights themselves led the charge, they would have to extensively activate the Shadow Mist City. Such a situation in Supibia would also necessitate a level-one alarm, requiring either a Creator Realm Mage to take action or for her to draw her sword!

But this wasn’t Supibia; this was the City of the Skies. There were no Knight Orders, no Mages, only hundreds of millions of dangerous Dragon Species; how could this city possibly be saved?!

“Go get Rainbow Winged Lord—!?”

Orianna suddenly stopped talking, as she saw the light once more. The glow emitted from the long-haired man’s feet, reaching out to the distance in an instant, extending into the damaged buildings, stretching out to the feet of the giant beasts…

Extending to the entire City of the Skies!

“—Hero stance, deploy!”

The long-haired man punched the ground, and with his will, the stance that extended across the whole city moved. That power protected all the citizens caught in danger, reconstructed all the damaged buildings to their forr state. The ten Synthetic Dragon Beasts were simultaneously lifted into the air—the might of the Light Stance capable of raising the giant beasts!

Before the situation could be understood, it was reversed in the blink of an eye, and even the crying of the people in the park still lingered in Orianna’s ears. In her peripheral vision, she saw a child go from sobbing to smiling. The child excitedly swung his fist and yelled, “The hero is here! The Skies’ hero is here!!”

“Yes, yes, the hero has co to save you little brats,” the Daoist Master typed a few tis on his phone, “All parts of the Artificial Machine God Chong Guang have been launched, the fusion program simulation is complete. Big brother, make it quick.”

“Leave it to !”

The long-haired man leaped up amid cheers, reaching heights even higher than the giant beasts. Streams of light flew from various parts of the City of the Skies, each stream carrying giant chanical beings resembling creatures. He raised his right arm in the sunlight and shouted, “Artificial Machine God Chong Guang, combine!”

Gears clicked crisply, auxiliary engines ejected blue fire-light, the fully operational cooling system dispersed vast amounts of steam into the air, and machinery unfolded at a dizzying speed, wrapping around the man like a garnt. The sounds of countless chanical joints coming together culminated, and by the ti the steam dissipated, the final product was finally revealed…

A colossus, towering amid the city!

Its limbs were black and solid as columns, its orange hands sharp like claws, a majestic beast head sat in the middle of its red-black body. Its back was as wide as a city wall, with tal wings like an eagle’s growing behind it. The giant wore a majestic helt, and its eyes shone with a soul fire of gold. Next to its hundred-ter-tall body, the Dragon Beasts seed minuscule; it itself was an indestructible city of steel!

The giant stood alongside the Dragon Beasts on that unknown stance, hovering above the city. Instinctively sensing danger, the ten rampaging Dragon Beasts spewed destructive light streams of various colors at the enemy.

“Anti-ability Barrier!”

The giant raised its left palm, and an even sturdier stance than before emitted from its hand. Countless polygonal cells ford a densely packed, semi-transparent defensive wall that blocked all attacks. At the sa ti, under the control of the long-haired man, the giant raised its arm and swung its fist. The right fist, spinning at high speed, shot out and hamred towards the nearest Biochemical Synthetic Dragon.

“Take this! Heavy Light Fist!”

The punch pierced through the Dragon Beast’s body as easily as ripping through a piece of paper. After being fired, the Heavy Light Fist imdiately changed its trajectory, penetrating all ten behemoths in a flash. As the fist flew back to the giant, the remnants of the dragon beasts simultaneously disintegrated, turning into ten dazzling suns—their bodies transford into pure light by the force of power!

All the dragon beasts had turned into light, and just like that, the crisis of the city was resolved. Orianna stood frozen in place, looking up at the steel giant. It took quite so effort for the mories of her mission to resurface in her brain, and the female knight found herself murmuring unconsciously.

“… Sky Hero?”

“Wow, you know my big brother?” The Daoist Master was delighted, “Congratulations, big brother! You’re so famous that even foreign beauties know you!”

“Would you stop blabbering, Ah Ce?”

The head on the giant’s chest slowly opened its mouth, and the long-haired man stepped out from it. He gracefully leaped to the ground, standing in front of Orianna. He tapped the side of his helt, and the steel that covered his face dissipated like water, revealing his true face.

For a mont, Orianna thought she saw the sun, the child of a God walking on earth.

His features were handso and distinguished, outshining any knight she had ever seen before. But his eyes were gentle and calm, unlike the hardness of gentlen or the pretense of nobility. This was a man whose soul you could see right through, plain to the point of not seeming human. His eyes radiated sincerity, and his smile exuded benevolence.

The young man had the looks and strength of a Heavenly God but was as approachable as the boy next door who was a few years older than you.

“Miss, hello, what is your na?” The long-haired young man smiled as he reached out his hand, “I really owe you one from the train incident earlier; we were almost blown to pieces… Are you alright, miss?”

“I’m fine!” Orianna, who had been staring, blushed suddenly when she ca to her senses. She quickly shook his hand, then retreated like lightning, covering her face and turning away with a voice as faint as a mosquito’s buzz.

“I, I, I am…”

The Daoist Master chuckled: “Sorry miss, I didn’t catch that, what did you say?”

“Always playing tricks,” the long-haired young man smacked the back of his head, and the Daoist Master closed his mouth with a mischievous smile.

Orianna raised her voice: “I am the Seventh Knight of the Morton Royal Knights, Orianna Cavon.”

The long-haired young man gave her a thumbs-up.

“It’s a pleasure to et you, Miss Orianna. My na is Mo Yuankai…”

The noon sunlight shone on his glaze-colored hair, adding a dazzling, artistic hue to it. But his confident smile was even brighter than the sunshine, engraving itself in the depths of Orianna’s mory like a beautiful painting, together with his na etched in her heart.

“He’s the world’s greatest Superpower User!”
