Qin Qianbai stood her ground, Budman imdiately rounded his arms, channeling the power of the Green Ghost to strike with the sledgehamr. The fearso weapon stirred up strong winds, and Qin Qianbai looked pitifully like a doll in front of it. Yet, this figure showed no sign of fear; she silently extended her left hand and struck the silvery hamrhead. tal was as frail as ice under her power, and Budman’s weapon shattered with one collision!
The girl brushed off the debris from her body and shared the conclusion she reached from her observations.
“You’re actually not good with hamrs, are you?”
“Figured that out so quickly, huh?” Budman threw away the broken hamr handle, “I just bring this thing because it feels good to smash riffraff with it. To really fight…”
He took off his sunglasses, crushed them in his hand and shouted fiercely, “I still rely on my fists!”
Budman leapt into the air, his clenched hands coming down like hamrs! Qin Qianbai dodged silently, yet the strike completely brought down the overhead bridge, and both fell towards the ground simultaneously. They used the debris of what used to be the road as stepping stones, brushing past each other several tis in the few seconds before hitting the ground.
Fighting, fighting, fighting, defending with a lateral arm, blocking stabs with a karate chop, responding to punch with punch! The continuous collisions triggered blasts of air, turning the battlefield into a zone uninhabitable by re mortals within three seconds. Finally, the last piece of debris also shattered against the concrete, and both stood firm, striking simultaneously!
“Green Ghost Barrage!”

Both combatants chose a barrage of blows, having realized during their initial probing that it was impossible to win with a single hit. Budman shook his wrist disdainfully and laughed.

His aura surged with his shout, and his speed suddenly increased a notch!
In almost an instant, Budman moved right in front of the girl; even the karate experts of Zero Island could rarely reach such speed. Qin Qianbai’s body slamd into a rockery in a park, blasting another spider-webbed crater in the alloy mountain. A trail of blue remnants streaked past like fire, Budman rcilessly crashed down on his enemy in the pit—
“?!”
His eyes widened; there was no sign of his opponent in the depths of the crater. Winds exploded behind Budman, and a chilling voice reached his ears.
“Sa to you.”
Qin Qianbai was right behind him! The girl punched the pillager’s back, smashing him into the ground. She backed off cautiously, not pushing her advantage, instead bracing herself and recovering her breath.
“I intended to deal with you quickly and then go support Gongsun Ce, but it seems you’re stronger than I thought.”
The burst of power at that mont surprised her, Budman’s pursuit had nearly succeeded, only…
“Ah… reduced the air friction, increased the mountain’s elasticity, bounced out in advance using the rebound… Quite the move, Rashamon.”
Rage filled the plunderer’s voice, the man having sustained hardly any substantial harm!
“I admit it, you are a formidable enemy.”
Budman climbed out of the crater like a zombie, spat out blue blood, and stretched his stiff neck.
“I’ll use every trick in the underworld… to crush you!”
A pale blue glow gathered at Budman’s chest; he held his hands near his chest, solidifying and compressing that light!
A sense of unprecedented crisis chilled Qin Qianbai to the core, recalling the intelligence Gongsun Ce had provided beforehand. Budman’s second ability, capable of completely disintegrating any matter…
“—Cangxing Annihilation Cannon!!”
The buildup of energy finished instantly, Budman’s second power unleashed in full force! A blue destructive beam, three ters wide and extending a hundred ters, shifted rapidly in the plunderer’s palms, shredding the street and sky into countless pieces, obliterating everything to the point where not even ash remained!
The fire of the cannon persisted for four seconds; Qin Qianbai reappeared in the shadow of a massive white tower. Her soft, long hair had been cut off by a substantial length—it was the most dangerous mont since the battle began; even a mont’s delay would have obliterated her completely.
“Ha!”
Budman burst from beside the giant tower, kicking fiercely as he laughed! Qin Qianbai, about to defend herself, shuddered as she noticed the blue light flashing again at Budman’s chest…
Another Annihilation Cannon fired; less powerful than before but faster! Qin Qianbai reflexively perford a backbend to dodge, countering with her right leg in the sa motion.
“Too late!” Budman grabbed her ankle, viciously swinging her towards the extrely sturdy white tower!
Calm and composed, Qin Qianbai did a flip in mid-air, miraculously stabilizing herself on the smooth spikes. She reached out her hand, creating a black long sword out of thin air.
Budman’s chest pulsed with light, his terrifying body pressing against the tower wall as he clashed bodily with the black blade!
The combatants fought from the base of the tower to the middle, and from there leaped to the towering top. They clashed fiercely under the sky’s extre height, turning into two phantoms disappearing into the distance.
With this exchange, their encounter ended, and a new round of deadly combat began. Qin Qianbai and Budman had already moved to the next battlefield, but their battle’s afterimages had not had ti to dissipate yet. The pure white and pale blue lights intertwined outside the spikes, spiraling like a dual-color helix on the white tower.
