216: Chapter 5 Dream Interpretation Part 3 216: Chapter 5 Dream Interpretation Part 3 After he had described his childhood bedroom in detail, he asked, “Can you tell the aning of this dream?”
Dawn Knight put on her hat and began interpreting the dream in a calm voice.
This ti, she spoke at length, which was rare for her.
“The depths of your dream is your childhood room, symbolizing your hosickness and nostalgia; placing in your most private room signifies your trust in as you trust yourself.”
He understood why Alandia appeared.
Of course, Gongsun Ce thought with a wry smile, who else but himself could open that door?
“I’m dressed in the outfit I wear for investigations, symbolizing your expectation that I will solve your confusion.
I sit at your desk, freely browsing your essence transford into books, aning you hope I will understand you further.”
As he listened, Gongsun Ce felt increasingly uneasy while Alandia continued speaking indifferently.
“Lastly, the desk is very close to your bed.
You spend most of the ti sitting on the bed, and you hinted several tis for to co closer to you, which symbolizes your sexual…”
Gongsun Ce blushed and jumped up, shouting, “Stop!
You have no evidence, it’s all conjecture!”
Alandia laughed again.
“Yes, it’s just conjecture.”
She stood face to face with Gongsun Ce, reaching out to caress his youthful face.
“The symbols in dreams have countless plausible conjectures.
The only trustworthy evidence is your feelings.
Rember, only you can decide the correct interpretation.”
Dawn Knight turned away and walked into the darkness, leaving behind only a brief farewell.
“See you next ti, Ce.”
Gongsun Ce gazed at her fading figure until she completely disappeared, then softly said,
“Goodbye, Alandia.”
Now it was ti to get serious and complete the final step of this dream entry.
Gongsun Ce held the book in his hands.
The book at the deepest part of the dream emitted a warm light, its cover and pages lding into an amorphous beam of light.
The retrieved Spirit Light rose from his hands, transforming the darkness within him.
Gongsun Ce silently recited the incantation, attempting to manipulate the light.
He found it quite simple, much like how he usually controls telekinesis.
“The world has its constants, the heart has no permanence.
Essence fortifies , Spirit Light is elusive.
When essence and spirit unite, the true heart erges.”
The Spirit Light flickered more intensely, illuminating a small area around his feet.
With a thought, Gongsun Ce created an Array underneath him: seven curved lines radiating from a hollow circle at the center, each ending with a unique rune symbolizing the seven phases of the Impermanence Skill: Silent – Void – Spirit – Sacred – Desolate – Calamity – Wondrous.
This was the Array Yan Qi used to determine his aptitude, as well as the general guideline for all Impermanence Law Enforcers when entering the field.
“Spirit Illumination dispels illusions, revealing the truth.
Knowing the profound saness, the true heart stabilizes…”
Gongsun Ce closed his eyes and recited the ancient texts until it was ti to choose the heart phase, then opened his eyes.
“The heart’s intent changes, the seven phases are distinguished.”
The Spirit Light fell into the center of the hollow circle, transforming into a sword-like rune, exactly symbolizing the Silent Phase.
“Extinction Illusion Ruin, serene liberty.
The heart returns to the Silent Phase, breaking boundaries in search of the Void.”
The Array illuminated brilliantly, with one of the curved lines expanding rapidly into a wide, flat black road.
The tip of the sword rune pointed directly in that direction, leading Gongsun Ce to realize this was the path he was to take.
He looked around and found the other six curved lines had also turned into paths, so fragnted halfway, others utterly white, so dark and deep.
The most noticeable was a blue path; this road was unexpectedly lined with a soft carpet stretching from a distant place all the way to the junction, practically inviting him inside.
Gongsun Ce glanced at the Array beneath his feet, quite certain that the carpeted road originated from the Desolate Phase.
“Eh, no thanks, it’s very inviting but I’m not planning to go, it looks rather creepy.”
Gongsun Ce muttered to himself, noting that he had finally entered the Realm of Spirit Illumination, yet it was ti to leave.
…
How was he supposed to leave again?
Gongsun Ce scratched his head.
He was sure Yan Qi had taught him, but he couldn’t rember at the mont.
He reasoned logically that he should find a way out.
At present, there were seven paths.
Yan Qi and Alandia had both said he needed to take the Silent Phase…
and that path seed easy to walk…
It was as if that path had been made just for him.
Gongsun Ce was absolutely certain that this was the path for him, that everything he had experienced from birth until now existed for this very mont.
This thought exhilarated him, filling him with a solemnity akin to that of a martyr.
He should head deeper, even if it ant being shattered to pieces!
“Right,” Gongsun Ce beca even more convinced of his idea, “I have to go through the Silent Phase.”
This path might take so ti and effort, but he wasn’t in a rush to rest, and putting in a bit of effort was no big deal.
Gongsun Ce was about to step onto the path of the Silent Phase when he faintly heard soone else’s voice.
“…do not allow…”
·
The real world.
Yan Qi held his brush at the ready, even he looked serious at the mont.
“Spirit Illumination successful.
Be prepared!”
Shiyu Lianyi was also quite tense.
Beginners who ignited their Spirit Light were highly likely to mistakenly enter a path, and stepping onto a path unprepared was akin to a malignant rampage.
Gongsun Ce’s talent was Silent Phase-15, and his extraordinary affinity with the Silent Phase made it almost a certainty that an accident would happen.
Now, as his assistants, did they have to think of sothing from the outside…?
The young man in a suit couldn’t hide his astonishnt.
“Gongsun, you’re awake?”
The young man with gray hair humd twice, his eyelids fluttered, and he had actually awakened on his own at this mont.
“I rember…
what’s happening…
It seems soone advised not to overdo it…”
He yawned.
“Right, I promise not to give up on myself.
Then I rembered I just need to open my eyes to wake up.”
Yan Qi rolled his eyes and stroking his chin said, “Try him!”
Shiyu Lianyi tentatively asked, “Where did you put your…
yandere manga?”
“I left it at my elder brother’s place, ah.
You changed your mind?
You can go get a copy from him; I promise not to tell Kardesia.”
The young man in a suit breathed a sigh of relief, knowing this was definitely his good friend himself.
Gongsun Ce pulled out his pocket watch; it was one in the afternoon.
“I slept for 13 hours?!
Were you two watching the whole ti?”
The painter scoffed.
“What do you think?”
“My god.”
This was much longer than he thought.
Gongsun Ce felt he had many things to do; he needed to call his family at ho, it would reassure him a lot; he needed to write another letter to Alandia, even just a few words; he also needed to speak to the young lady…
but now, there was sothing he had to do right away.
“Thanks, Mr.
Shiyu,” Gongsun Ce put on his glasses, “Thanks, Master Yan Qi.”
Yan Qi, still holding his brush, shuddered and with wide eyes and a raised voice, shouted,
“Damn it!
This blockhead has been bewitched!!”
“Are you crazy?!” Gongsun Ce retorted angrily.
Shiyu Lianyi silently went to the kitchen to warm up the dishes, thinking this ti it really seed like there were no problems.
