Chapter 1253: Chapter 121: Light Beyond the Limits (Part 2)
“New appearance? Is it this armor and weapon?”
Gaius didn’t launch an imdiate attack; he scrutinized the giant weapon in his hands.
“You’re mistaken; this image is ancient. In the past, it was the symbol of the Otimis family. The family head of each generation would don heavy armor and step onto the battlefield to cleave the enemy’s heads with a giant axe. The true armor was shattered by Klein fifteen years ago, and now I’ve gone through great efforts to wear the so-called Fake Unlimited Machine… Only now do I finally possess the qualification to battle with you!”
Once again, Gaius vanished bizarrely, and the enemy who was conversing with him left his original position. At the sa ti, a powerful cleave struck from above. A long serpent ford from gray fog darted out and coiled around the axe blade, while Gongsun Ce reached for the axe handle with one hand. Having dealt with Aorus countless tis, he was too familiar with this mode of moving. This was undoubtedly space movent akin to Aorus, and the chanism he used to realize it was…
“Rainbow!”
Behind Gaius, there was a faintly illusory rainbow light, symbolizing the power of Linghong State, the rainbow representing movent. As long as he had these wings of light, Gaius could move his body freely at will. What Gongsun Ce was least lacking was a way to break teleportation. He flicked two shurikens backward; the mont the pitch-black iron pieces entered Gaius’ view, the chains representing connection pierced into Gaius, binding him tightly.
Gaius grabbed hold of the chain backward; he didn’t retreat anymore. The man bellowed fiercely, exerting his arm to pull Gongsun Ce towards him using the chain!
Gongsun Ce prepared to escape the attack by elental transformation, but a mountain-like weight ca along the chain, the formless “gravity” holding the flickering Nirvana Fla fast. Misjudging the situation suddenly changed it, and Gaius initiated an offensive hard against the pain of the shurikens cutting him, launching a bright silver cleave directly aid at Gongsun Ce’s head. The protective grey serpent activated again, the False Words Seal swallowed the slash before collapsing and disappearing, Gaius pressed down with the giant axe to leap up, his rotating legs bringing out a swift, tricky combo strike.
Gaius used a kicking technique secretly passed down in the Empire’s northern light temple, mixed with the combat skill from the southern islands known for its fierce recklessness. Gongsun Ce, a half-baked close combatant, couldn’t tell where the move originated, only feeling cold killing intent rushing towards him, as vicious as a dragon biting. The level of close combat skill revealed itself now, and trapped in a stalemate, Gongsun Ce had no ti to wield his sword, only resorting to raise his hand to defend with Nirvana Fla.
Gaius was not afraid of Gongsun Ce’s fla; the skills he possessed were fundantally unrelated to malignant traits. His kicks easily penetrated the fla barrier, kicking Gongsun Ce backward, with the kicked left arm turning into a dry, wooden texture and a bright green flower blooming on the back of the hand.
Life Control, Wood chanism activation!
If the attack were accompanied by chanting to construct a complete skill, this hit would certainly hinder Gongsun Ce significantly. But Gaius well understood his troubleso opponent; he couldn’t afford to waste even a mont. He let go of the chain and wielded the axe with both hands. Dark golden lines spread like vines across the double-edged axe surface, several new skills silently attached to the cold weapon. He shouted as he charged at the enemy, using a frontal impact ritual to maximize attack prowess, with the strike fierce as a mountain of corpses and a river of blood!
The ear-piercing explosion spread with the shock wave as the double-edged axe and black sword stalemated in the air, the cold blade’s surface reflecting the faces of both n. Gaius’ offensive strategy was tightly linked, not allowing Gongsun Ce ti to change the Seal, his target precisely the Majestic Fury Seal’s black sword.
Queen Grey and the successive defeats of the Pleasure Demons had already validated the strength of this skill, but it also had weaknesses. Majestic Fury Seal’s complete liberation required short-term charging, aid against “world” and “obstacle.” Therefore, Gaius didn’t employ any delay or defensive thods; he constructed an exceptionally strong attack skill based on the opponent’s weak Heavenly Return Skill. All the power was concentrated on a short axe blade; when the broken “surface” doesn’t exist, the destructive force cannot manifest.
The weapon clash decided the victory upon exchange; Gongsun Ce’s black sword was suppressed without suspense, and just as Gaius intended to pursue, a sudden chill struck him as he saw a mocking curve at the young man’s mouth. The black sword was shrouded in an ominous blood-red light, symbolizing revenge!
“—Responding Demon Stream!”
The power of the Suffering Seal exploded at the closest range, the blood-red brilliance surging from the black sword, the erupting crimson coloring half the sky!
The clash of forces triggered a turbulent light stream, both n retreating simultaneously. Gongsun Ce grabbed his disobedient left arm, contemplating self-severance to reduce risk, but the plant-induced erosion suddenly halted. True Sail lifted her hand with difficulty, using her power to stave off the attack. Their eyes crossed in midair as True Sail shouted, “Fight freely, Gongsun Ce! Budman just injured him; there’s no terrain change in the northern continent, he hasn’t beco North Land Totem yet!”
“Ah, you’re a great help!”
John made one last probe before the attack, insisting on wounding the opponent once to gauge Gaius’ reality. The Fake Unlimited Machine boosted Gaius’ combat power imnsely, but ultimately he hadn’t fully combined 51 totems nor used the official ceremony to assu presidency, thus hadn’t truly beco the “United Totem,” marking the successful halfway point of this preliminary teor Plan.
Gongsun Ce gratefully nodded, cooperating with True Sail to thoroughly resolve the hidden dangers. He shook his restored arm, casually swinging his sword to dispel the light. Gaius appeared on the city’s other side, his red-golden armor gained an ugly crack. Blood oozed from his mouth as he tightly covered his face, with impressive willpower enduring the agony.
“What’s the matter, Mr. Vice President! It would be easier to just scream in pain. Such aningless actions are unlike you!” Gongsun Ce beckoned with his finger, “Or could it be that the well-prepared Mr. Gaius didn’t expect to have a new trick?”
“Indeed, I miscalculated,” Gaius replied, “The strength of the Seal far exceeded expectations, and its use completely beyond the intelligence we had… You truly possess enviable talents.”
As they spoke, bright yellow light surged in like a tide, revealing natural wonders such as magma, forests, and deep seas. Gongsun Ce used Nirvana Fla to evolve various weapons to counteract them. In the wide-range battle, his heart suddenly jumped, and he shouted sternly, “Are you insane? Your world is affecting humanity!”
Except for Riyui, all Superpower Users were severely injured and unconscious, with colorful lights emanating from their bodies. Riyui, who still had so strength, resisted the physical assault for now but showed numbness in her eyes. Even the highest-risk Superpower Users were in such a state, so ordinary civilians simply could not withstand Gaius’s attack.
Gongsun Ce hurriedly used Nirvana Fla to draw an Array to strengthen the defense. Gaius, taking the opportunity, launched a sneak attack with an ice spear, his expression still indifferent: “I ntioned during peace talks that my New Civilization Front can consolidate the real world, and this is the thod I will adopt.”
“Controlling people’s thoughts and lives is also a thod?” Gongsun Ce questioned, “What kind of President is that? You’re basically trying to beco the United Totem’s dictator!”
“You don’t need to understand the principles; the ti for negotiation is long over,” Gaius said. “I don’t care whether I’m a dictator or a president; I only care if I can achieve my goals!”
As he spoke, he teleported and launched another attack. Gongsun Ce, who was prepared, wielded his sword to block the strike. This ti, the insidious force numbed his arm, and as Gaius changed his attack style, Gongsun Ce raised his alertness to the maximum, with no trace of underestimating his opponent in his heart.
This man was unbelievably strong, almost a flawless opponent. His ticulous thinking goes without saying; the provocations aid at Grey had little effect. His control over power was ticulous and cautious, unlike the careless Red Mage; his close combat skills certainly had the strength to fight in the unrestricted arena. As for the Impermanence Skill…
“Isn’t your Manifestation thod also a product integrated with so sort of combined Skill? You must have used so many Skills up to now, mostly an integrative structure that allows for the free use of subordinates and governance objects’ experience and knowledge, am I wrong?” Gongsun Ce raised an eyebrow, “You keep talking about diocrity all day long, but in reality, you’re a well-rounded genius. Apologize to the real fools!”
Gaius, however, no longer looked at him, slowly clenching and unclenching his fist, as if testing his own strength.
“Talent? Indeed I dabble broadly because I don’t want my weaknesses exposed by an enemy, so I enhanced myself in all areas. I spent all my ti learning, training, exploring my potential… And ultimately, these are the powers I gained. Manifestation, Heavenly Eye, and barely a first-rate leadership and scientific research standard… But what’s the point?”
Gaius lifted his head, and for the first ti, Gongsun Ce saw his smile, a cold and bitter arc. The rainbow-colored light flashed, and Gaius’s strike ca from below. Gongsun Ce raised his sword to block the attack, and the ax-wielding man gradually raised his voice.
“Can I use them to beco the pillar of a nation? Can I use them to gallop across the battlefield? Can I use them to respond to the threat of Creator Realm Mages, to resist the impending crisis?!” Gaius gripped his battle-ax and slashed down vehently, almost venting, “You’re not even 20 years old this year, yet I needed so much preparation to have the qualification to battle with you! Is such a person a genius? What a joke!”
The constant clanging of tal was relentless, with excessive force causing the Nirvana Fla on the sword’s edge to flicker unsteadily. By the end of his statent, Gaius was almost roaring, and the indignant roar wiped the smile off Gongsun Ce’s face. He casually threw four shurikens to distract, thinking that this man truly was Aorus’s father; both were identical at the root. As if they must achieve sothing, as if they must reach high places. Once things got out of control, they felt endless tornt due to their helplessness.
Yet, Gaius’s sense of inadequacy was far stronger than Aorus’s, perhaps because Aorus was already the strongest one within the Light Core, whereas Gaius was surrounded by truly top-level geniuses. This man probably constantly emphasized his own diocrity in his heart, looking up to that unreachable, ultimate barrier…
“Your self-awareness is so clear that I have no desire to use provocation tricks on you. Such a dull life leaves one speechless…” Gongsun Ce sighed, pretending to be rueful, then raised his eyebrows nacingly, “Did you think I’d say sothing like that? I don’t care whether you’re diocre or a genius, you’ve caused such a big ss, so get lost! Stop the plan now and return the Totems, or you’re going to hell with Situ Yi!”
Gongsun Ce, wielding his sword, sprinted forward as if to strike again. Behind his cloak, Nirvana Fla condensed into six small cannon ports, firing beams of magnetic demonic current as he swung his sword. Gaius raised a mountain to shield against the attack; a black Majestic Fury Seal bisected the mountain shield, and Gaius wordlessly clenched his fists, enduring the bitter cannon fire using his willpower and hastily generated ice armor. As a result, Gaius bled from all seven apertures, yet extended his hand toward the ground.
“What are you worried about? The arrival of the giant dragon?” Gaius said coldly, “Then let it co!”
The intense pain made Gaius emit a low growl as he grasped the air vigorously. The Formless “nail” left the earth at his will, emitting crisp ringing sounds from all over the northern continent. Like another totem flying from all directions, dozens of differently colored lights rose again, this ti instantly spreading throughout the United Totem. A strong heartbeat sound resonated from beneath the earth.
Gaius’s presidency, already able to influence the front line, further led to the detachnt of half the totems. The Civilizational Front was poised to lose its functionality, and now his action beca the final straw. The millennia-long Sealing was lifted at this mont, and the Master of the Mysterious Realm is about to truly awaken and descend upon the earth again!
