Capítulo 1128: Chapter 72: The Illusory Song of the Cyber Ghost (Part 2)_3
“Honored guests, welco to Sound Curtain City. Here is the screen of sound and art, where singers perform their heartfelt voices in reality.”
“Incredibly spectacular,” Gongsun Ce sincerely praised, “No wonder artists from all over the world want to co here.”
“This isn’t sothing everyone can do; mastering real sound requires exceptional skill.” Jin gulped down the juice in his glass, “Please, Mr. Gongsun, we’re almost there.”
The sedan flew into the central cylindrical tower of Yinmu City, the headquarters of the North Continent Real Sound dia Company. Gongsun Ce noticed that as they approached the skyscraper, idol Ariel’s performance had finished, seemingly just in ti for the singer’s last song.
They parked in a spacious hangar-like private garage, with a servant outside the car attentively opening the door for them. Gongsun Ce stepped out of the vehicle, eting a pair of captivating and charming eyes. The female singer who had just been performing stepped aside and spoke as if singing, “The Slaughterer of Glaze and Illusion, the Bearer of the Magic Sword of the End, the Hero who defeated the Chikou Evil Spirit…”
“Please don’t say so many titles; I would be embarrassed.”
“Then welco to the Kalash family, Mr. Gongsun Ce and Miss Qiluo.”
Ariel Karash stepped aside to make way for the esteed guests. She was still wearing the beautiful outfit from the performance, with beads of sweat faintly showing on her neck and slightly rapid breaths, proving she had rushed from the concert venue. She waited until everyone had disembarked, then stepped forward to hold onto Jin’s arm, the old man’s face full of pride: “Allow to introduce my daughter, Ariel Karash, the most dazzling star in the united music scene.”
“Don’t say that, Dad, you’re flattering too much.”
Gongsun Ce shook her hand: “Your singing is so moving, Miss Ariel.” Qiluo could hardly conceal her excitent: “Hello, Miss Ariel, I am your fan!”
Ariel’s eyes curved with joy: “I’m so glad; I didn’t expect to et a fellow in the entertainnt circle.”
Gongsun Ce saw his lady’s delight and excitent, and proactively ntioned: “If you don’t mind, how about letting the ladies chat alone?”
“Why not! Let the girls chat freely about art and life, while the n focus on the filthy exchanges in the field of interests.” Jin readily agreed, letting go of his daughter’s hand, watching the two ladies leave. He led Gongsun Ce down another path, speaking leisurely along the way.
“Back to business, Mr. Gongsun. After investigating your actions on this trip, I’ve noticed you consistently focus on the various states’ totems.”
“My visit is to investigate anomalous weather; if I don’t examine the totems, that would be a dereliction of duty.” Gongsun Ce answered flawlessly.
“Of course, of course. However, I am an ally of Gaius, and I’ve learned so cryptic hints from him. I think what you’re truly concerned with is the relics left by the Saints, isn’t it?”
Gongsun Ce scratched his head, troubled: “Your imagination is really rich…”
“When one is old, they tend to fantasize. If you’re willing to indulge an old man’s absurd words, why not discuss this transaction? The totem situation in the State of Real Sound is special; the information we’ve left is more than in any other state.” The old man’s expression was like a cunning weasel, leading the chick into a trap step by step.
“To what extent?”
“From text…” Jin rubbed his fingers, “to images.”
Gongsun Ce adjusted his glasses: “Then what do you want in return?”
“Information must be exchanged for information; we do not make unprofitable deals.”
Jin Karash’s expression turned solemn, and his answer greatly surprised Gongsun Ce.
“I’ll be frank; I want information on Ranger Seviss.”
·
At the sa ti, in the Old Town of Sound Curtain City.
The other three crew mbers did not accompany Gongsun Ce for negotiations; they are currently gathering intelligence in Sound Curtain City. However, before the official action, the young lady insisted on having so food to make up for the missed breakfast, so the group temporarily stopped at a fast-food chain.
Qin Qianbai bought a bucket of fried chicken, hash browns, and cheesecake, and was packing it when he heard a listless greeting from behind.
“Hi. Another chance encounter. Are you sure you’re not following ?”
Qin Qianbai turned his head and t the gaze of the pouting blonde ranger. She confidently said: “Look, look, this is my brilliant deduction. Miss Seviss is so downcast, it seems she skipped breakfast too.”
Seviss slapped her forehead: “I’m just buying a cup of cola; how does your mind connect unhappiness with not eating?”
“Then why would the cheerful ranger be unhappy?”
“It’s the environnt, the environnt’s fault.” Seviss sighed dejectedly, “This city is a ss.”
