"How is this possible...?"
This question still lingered in the air as the last Nether Wraith died. Under the heat generated by the Nine Abyss laser eyes, its body seed to imdiately turn to ash and scatter in the air.
Sizzle!
The air around Dawn was heated to high temperature. In re monts, the light moisture in the air imdiately turned into steam that drifted around Dawn's figure.
Dawn ignored the three shiny crystals lying on the ground and looked at the cave wall, which had been completely destroyed by the brutal power of his skill.
Unlike before, he felt no sense of tiredness and instinctively knew he could even launch a couple more attacks without breaking a sweat.
He felt no guilt in killing these grotesque creatures. The creatures who killed others must be prepared to be killed themselves one day by soone stronger than them.
Who knows? One day Dawn might encounter soone he was not able to deal with.
"Such a day will never co..." Dawn's eyes flashed with ruthlessness as he resolved himself to get stronger than everyone.
Although internally he knew how arrogant and prideful such thinking was, so what? Should he admit defeat before the fight even began?
Dawn slowly floated downwards. He slightly bent down and picked the crystals up from the ground.
Imdiately, a ssage popped up in front of him.
[Iron Grade Soul Power Crystal x2]
[Iron Grade Physique Crystal x1]
[Would you like to absorb these crystals]
[Yes/No]
Dawn was surprised by the Iron Grade Physique Crystal and muttered, "Physique crystal is probably dropped by that guy..." and there was no need to say anything about the Soul Power Crystals.
Without hesitating, he directly clicked on "Yes" and the crystals in his hands imdiately turned into an ethereal current that slowly rged with his body.
Dawn once again got to experience the heavenly sensation, and in another mont it was gone.
[Soul Power increased by 0.4]
[Agility increased by 0.2]
He imdiately noticed the changes. His mind seed to have beco slightly faster, and his body seed to have grown slightly more robust.
Although Dawn was barely a month old, his body was already strong as an average adult.
Which was confusing, as baby bones weren't supposed to be that strong. After pondering for a mont, Dawn gave up thinking about it.
"Now it's ti to deal with the windows." After saying this, Dawn imdiately focused on the windows that had popped up when he had killed the Nether Wraiths duo.
[Your myth becos stronger, a Chapter about Nether Wraiths is added.]
[The number of Nether Wraiths killed in a single hit has increased. As a result, an additional annihilation effect is added to your attacks.]
[The aura of slaughter surrounding you grows stronger. Your attacks deal more damage to Nether Wraiths. Be careful, Nether Wraiths will imdiately attack you upon notice.]
"So now we are permanent enemies... huh!" Dawn coldly muttered after reading this notification.
He looked at a couple of other notifications, but there was no ntion of the Nether Wraith king. Moreover, there were no new skills as well.
Dawn was slightly disappointed in his heart. He hoped to acquire more information about that creature through these windows.
"Let's follow the trail and see where this guy ca running from." Dawn decided his next course of action. He imdiately followed the blood marks on the ground and ventured deeper into the cavern.
As he moved deeper, darkness seed to have co to life as it writhed and contorted dangerously, like a living entity.
In this darkness, Dawn was like a rising sun that filled this cruel place with slight hope.
His long fiery cape gently fluttered and illuminated the surroundings.
...
"Stop! Are you out of your fucking mind? Why are you attacking us?" A shocked voice filled with fear reverberated in the large space filled with a strong sll of blood.
A teenager with deep orange hair, barely eighteen years old, clutched a piece of stone tightly in his hand and rapidly retreated while looking fearfully at the group of people dressed in black in front of him.
Given how these people were dressed, it was evident that they belonged to the sa organization.
"No hard feelings, kid. Just bla your bad luck for encountering us on your awakening." A cold voice answered his question.
A young man with a large piece of sharp bone in his hand walked closer to the orange-haired young man.
"How low of you to use this taboo technique just to grow stronger." The orange-haired teenager roared in disgust, with the hand holding the stones shaking slightly. He had already understood their intentions, and the fact that his fate was sealed filled his heart with desperation.
The orange-haired teenager knew that the Eternal Battlefield was a dangerous place, but for soone like him who was at the lowest rung of society, this was the only way to change his life.
However, he had never expected to encounter a plunderer in his first visit to the Eternal Battlefield. Plunderers were notorious for killing mbers of their own race to quickly grow stronger.
It was a widely known fact in the Eternal Battlefield divers' community. The safest way to ensure your survival was to quickly kill all of your companions and absorb their crystals to grow stronger rapidly.
"I have to quickly find the nearest sanctuary... I must survive." The youth quietly resolved in his head.
Then suddenly a white light flashed!
Noticing danger, the boy's eyes widened in horror, and his face imdiately lost all color. His body wanted to evade, but it was too late.
Sling!
Just then, a blade flashed, and the body of the orange-haired teenager was split into two pieces, falling to the ground in a shower of blood.
In the next mont, the corpse disappeared, leaving behind a black obsidian crystal with a strange letter embedded in the center.
The boy who killed the orange-haired body seed to be familiar with the crystals, as his face imdiately turned ecstatic with joy, as if he had found a rare treasure.
"A skill crystal!! Just what I needed!"
...
Unaware of the situation, Dawn mindlessly continued to walk ahead. As he moved deeper, the blood dying the floor also grew thicker.
"Just how many people were killed for so much blood to gather...?" This question suddenly appeared in his head.
