The entire castle seed to quiet down all at once, leaving only the howling wind passing by their ears.
Suming and Su ng were both panting heavily, sitting back to back on a mountain of bat corpses, gasping for air.
This was not a matter of killing a dozen or so bats like the other day, but hundreds, perhaps thousands. Even with Suming's incredible wild man physique and the energy storage sphere, just relying on the two of them to fight with their bare hands, strangling one with their fingers and stomping another to death, it proved utterly exhausting to deal with over a thousand bats.
Even if a thousand pigs were tied up and left there waiting to be slaughtered, it would take half a day and blunt any knife's blade, let alone a battle?
At this mont, the basent door suddenly swung open. Zhao Yun took the lead, with Avitu, Nurse Hu, and others charging out from behind, each wielding various odd weapons, wearing very ancient leather armors and ridiculously ill-fitting helts. Looking not far away at the ground littered with bat corpses and Suming sitting on them, laughing and waving to them, the group was suddenly dumbstruck.

"Suming, are you hurt..." Nangong Yan looked at Suming, covered in 'bloodstains', and asked anxiously.
Avitu's mouth hung wide open, big enough to stuff a salted duck egg in.
"God... are these two n angels sent by God? They've... killed all the vampires?!" Avitu's mind completely short-circuited. If the first ti he saw Suming and Su ng swiftly kill a dozen bats was astonishing, now it was completely beyond his comprehension.
Zhao Yun, with a shield in one hand and a flail in the other, just like a werewolf warrior from the gas, stared at the mountain of bat corpses, blinking wildly.
"Big brother, big brother, where are you? Chengcheng is here to save you!"

After the bat incident was over, Suming and Su ng took a bath to wash off the blood they were covered in, and without bothering to clean up the bat corpses still accumulating in the castle, gathered everyone together.
"Mr. Zhao, please lead the team to escort Nangong and the others out. Su ng and I still have so things to take care of," Suming said.
"If we're leaving, we leave together. What are you two staying behind for?!" Zhao Yun frowned.
"Yeah, let's leave together, the mountains are too dangerous." Nangong Yan was quite frightened, especially when Suming walked out from the pile of bat corpses covered in blood. That mont almost made her crumble, but fortunately, just as Suming boastfully said, all the blood was of the 'enemy', and Suming himself didn't actually bleed. He just had a few large bumps on his forehead, looking as if he was about to sprout several horns from his head.
Su ng, on the other hand, suffered quite a few 'minor injuries', but no bat teeth could truly pose a threat, still resulting in nurous large and small punctures, leaving his skin pitted and affecting the touch.
"Don't worry, I'm an animal expert. I know the habits of bats. For bats of this size, a few hundred is already the limit of the flock. Any more and there wouldn't be enough food, so there won't be any more danger," Suming spouted confidently, as he was the authority on animals among those present. "Su ng and I will stay behind to collect so useful organs from the bat corpses for research; the scene is too bloody, not suitable for won, children..." As he said this, he even glanced at Avitu, "Oh, and not for the elderly to watch. Avitu, you go back with them, I'll have Grey Wolf pull the cart."
