When Suming rushed up the hillside and took the communicator from Ivanov's hands, the scene that had previously unfolded in the Iraqi war room appeared once more.

"Wait a mont..." President Vladimir in Moscow finally recovered from his shock and was about to say sothing when Ivanov's urgent voice ca through the communicator again, "Your Excellency, I am currently moving with Mr. Su's troops from Huaxia. Oh, Miss Ludmila is also with us, extending her regards to you! The situation is critical; IS is closing in again. We will report back to you once we find a safe location."

Vladimir paused for a mont, then his tone regained its calm, "Alright, convey my thanks to Mr. Su and wish you safe passage!"

After he finished speaking, the communicator went silent. Vladimir's voice resonated in the command center, "Issue orders to the nearest Russian Army, temporarily halt missile launches, keep a close watch on their movents, and ensure that Russia's hero and Russia's friend leave the warzone safely!"

"Yes, Mr. President!" the Russian representative quickly said.

However, when the Huaxia representative heard this sentence, a flash of surprise crossed their face. The "hero of Russia" naturally referred to Ivanov, the one who had called for fire upon himself. Although he did not ultimately sacrifice his life for his cause, it wasn't because he was afraid to die, but rather because the situation took an unexpected turn. Had it not been for Suming's tily arrival, Ivanov would have perished under artillery fire by now, which made him truly deserving of the title "hero of Russia."

Yet, the "friend of Russia" they referred to was none other than Suming!

If an ordinary Russian had said this phrase, it wouldn't hold much weight, but the person who said it was the President of Russia! Representatives from several countries heard it clearly. It might have even been broadcasted live, so that many ordinary citizens of Huaxia could also have heard it.

A normal citizen of Huaxia being called "Russia's friend" by the President of Russia – that held significant weight, and it was imperative to report to senior officials imdiately!

...

Because Suming and the Lure People suddenly appeared in the middle of the IS positions, causing a disruption to the IS defenses in a short ti, the Iraqi Governnt Army finally seized an opportunity to take a chunk out of IS, although they did not completely retake the mountainous area, they managed to find an equilibrium with IS, preventing the entire mountainous area from falling under IS's control.

Two days later, Suming and a few thousand Lure People, two Arican journalists, and the Russian hero, Ivanov, appeared on the turf of the Iraqi Governnt Army.

An Iraqi Governnt Army colonel did not dare delay for a mont and imdiately dispatched a battalion to escort everyone back to the capital Baghdad. This battalion was more of a 'courtesy' to show respect than a necessity since the number of Lure warriors was already larger than the battalion.

"I hope that so secrets can remain forever in our bellies," Suming said to Ludmila as they sat in the back of a military vehicle on the way back.

Yesterday afternoon, when Amir and the main group of Lure People were breaking out of the mountains, they captured a high-ranking mber of IS and asked Suming how to deal with him. Ludmila recognized him at a glance as the number five person in IS Country, a real big fish.

Suming pondered for a mont, took the number five man aside to a secluded place 'to chat for a while,' and eventually released him.

Although IS is a terrorist organization, it has managed to establish itself as a state. They have only grown stronger amidst condemnation from all over the world, and there are many deep-seated reasons for this. In terms of military strength, any of the five permanent mbers of the United Nations could easily use long-range weapons to plow through every inch of IS Country, yet no country has chosen to do so.

Don't think that these major powers are truly clashing with IS in blood under the guise of anti-terrorism. Only Iraq and Syria had no choice, as IS established their state on these countries' territories, directly threatening the regis of the two countries.

The waters are too deep; since the world's major powers have not taken an uncompromising stance against IS, Suming saw no need to beco the one to stick his neck out. On the battlefield, it's either kill or be killed, a necessity, but now, with his own war over, Suming did not want to make a deadly enemy of IS.

Therefore, this Number Five figure beca a bridge for Suming to covertly ease tensions with IS, the cost of his release being that IS would no longer harass the Lure People and Suming himself. Of course, the Lure People had to withdraw from the mountain areas.

After Suming beca Divine Envoy, the Lure People proved fiercely loyal; when leading the charge, several warriors under Amir's command stood in front of Suming with their bodies, and Suming, whenever possible, was still willing to help them.

As for his own safety, Suming was not too worried. It was almost impossible for Arabian terrorists to enter Huaxia to retaliate against him. Even if they managed to pass the rigorous security checks, they couldn't escape the eyes of the animals.

Aside from Amir and a few Lure soldiers, the only person who knew about this was Miss Ludmila, who served as the interpreter.

Ludmila shrugged, "Of course, I'm not an idiot! Would I risk being assassinated by IS to do sothing that has absolutely no benefit to ? Besides, trading IS's Number Five figure for a way out is not wrong."

"That's good," Suming smiled. "You are welco to visit Huaxia in the future; my future wife and I will warmly host you."

"You are also welco to visit Russia, but not with your wife," Ludmila said.

The trip back was uneventful; after returning to Baghdad, the Iraqi Governnt held a grand celebration.

Actually, even now, many of the Iraqi officials are still unclear about what exactly happened in this localized conflict—it started out of the blue and ended just as mysteriously.

But that's not important. What matters is that the outco of this war is worth promoting on a grand scale.

The Iraqi Governnt, with the support of the international community of justice, thwarted a major conspiracy by IS!

For the first ti, they successfully rescued hostages taken by IS. Strictly speaking, they were missing Huaxia businessn, who, with the brave Lure People and Moran International rcenaries, rescued the hostages from the West and Russian soldiers.

The Huaxia businessman, Moran International rcenaries, Russian hero paratroopers, and the rescued hostages suddenly beca the focus of all Iraq, with the whole world's attention turning to this war-torn city.

Apart from war correspondents and representatives of various countries, even the current President of Iraq attended the celebration in person and awarded Suming a peculiar dal, purportedly the highest honorarium of Iraq.

As the celebration drew to a close, the Russian representative tapped his silver spoon against his glass. Once the whole room quieted down and looked at him, he said with a smile, "Ladies and gentlen, President Vladimir has entrusted to extend an invitation to our friend of the Russian people, Mr. Su, hoping that he, along with Captain Ivanov, oh no, it should be Colonel Ivanov now, and Miss Ludmila, will co to Moscow to receive comndations."
