That should be enough satisfaction for his mouth, Suming wasn't so cruel as to beat an old man to death, although the old man did indeed deserve so punishnt.
After the initial shock had worn off, Suming's mind was mostly back to rational. On the Lure People's territory, beating the Clan Leader and High Priest to death, even if he was the true Divine Envoy, would probably be very troubleso.
Besides, this 'Divine Envoy' was a fake one.
"Damn it, what's wrong with you all, always either burning yourselves or soone else!" Suming cursed angrily.
The old man, Alayi, waved his hand, "Amir, take the boys and leave."
"Father..." Amir looked at Suming with so concern. However, his attitude now was completely different from the start, not daring to scare with a gun, let alone utter a threatening word.
"Enough! Do you still want to continue to desecrate the Divine Envoy!" said the old man, missing a tooth, making his speech sound whistling, which was quite funny to hear.
"Please forgive my disrespect. If there is any punishnt, Amir is willing to take it all by himself. Please do not harm my elderly father anymore." Amir's voice was trembling as he bowed to Suming, then led the troops, with stooped backs, slowly backing out of the wooden house.
"Respectable..."
"Wait a second, let's get a doctor to take a look at you first." Suming waved his hand, cutting off Alayi's words.
The old man had just been hit hard in Suming's anger, not only breaking a tooth but also covered in blood with a large gash across his face that looked like an extra mouth, continuously bleeding.
Suming definitely didn't want to be mid-sentence with the old man bleeding out and dying, that would be very difficult to explain.
"Thank you for your rcy, I am a Witch Doctor myself, uh cough cough..." the old man, hunched over, struggled to carry a small wooden bucket from the corner of the room, grabbed a handful of sothing like mud, and sared it on the wound on his face.
The 'mud' didn't sll foul; it actually had a fragrant aroma of herbs, probably so kind of dicinal herb.
While the old man was healing himself, Ludmila's curiosity was too much to restrain anymore. She approached Suming and asked, "What exactly happened just now? Was that ball of fla fake? But I could feel the scorching heat from more than a ter away!"
"Nonsense, of course it was real! Why don't you give it a go next ti?" Suming rolled his eyes.
"How did you do it?" Ludmila's curiosity led her to reach out and rummage around Suming's chest and back, feeling no different from normal skin. Why was it that within the fla, he remained unhard?
With a 'smack', Ludmila even slapped Suming on his bare buttocks.
"Watch out, or I'll accuse you of sexual... harassnt!" Suming squeezed his legs together, covering his private area with his hands, and awkwardly said, "Could you please find so clothes now, or at least so pants?"
"Ask them for it, you're their Divine Envoy. They'd even give you their most beautiful girl if you asked. But how did you do it, do you really possess the legendary Chinese Qi Skill?" Ludmila's curiosity was fully ignited.
"I can't be bothered dealing with them," Suming said.
Ludmila looked around, finding nothing in the room suitable to cover up with, so she took off her camo jacket and handed it to Suming, "Cover yourself with this for now."
Suming took the jacket and wrapped it around his waist, successfully shielding the revealing parts in front and back. At the sa ti, he couldn't resist giving Ludmila a few more glances. Under her jacket, she wore only a tight-fitting short training vest that covered her ****, clearly outlining her upper body's curves. Her chest's proud mounds threatened to break free, and on her partly exposed abdon, well-defined muscles were visible, with two standard lines on the sides of her waist creating almost perfect curves.
"Nice figure," Suming whistled.
The two were now like grasshoppers on the sa rope, stuck in the 'enemy camp,' and naturally beca comrades in the sa trench. The small grievances from the previous 'handshake' had long since vanished without a trace. Ludmila intentionally puffed out her chest and puckered her lips to blow Suming a kiss, her eyes playfully saying, "You're not bad yourself. How about we date after we get out of here?"
"What?!" Suming was caught off guard by this Western girl, who could switch between 'ferocious mama bear' and 'seductive mama bear,' and he almost reacted. He stuck out his butt and gave a little thrust backward, chuckling dryly, "I've got a girlfriend, and we're about to get married!"
"So what? n who have been married know better how to make a woman happy," Ludmila shrugged her shoulders, causing a tidal wave of motion with a very ordinary movent, her pure white skin dazzling Suming into a daze.
"Cough cough cough…" An elderly cough brought the two back to a normal state. Alayi had half his face covered in muddy herbs, looking like a wild man, as he bowed and said, "Respectful Divine Envoy…"
"Wait a minute... I told you, I'm not a Divine Envoy…" Even Suming felt his words lacked conviction.
Both the East and the West had fire-breathing acts in their acrobatics, where perforrs erged unscathed from the flas, which was not surprising. But whether it was acrobatics or magic, there had to be preparation ti in advance, either with manipulation of the body or of the flas.
Suming, on the other hand, was grabbed directly from the zoo, and the flas had erupted suddenly without any warning, leaving him no chance to prepare.
So, in the eyes of the High Priest of the Lure People, who had worshipped deities for thousands of years and hoped for Fire God Mazda to co to their rescue, Suming's unscathed ergence from the flas only had one possibility.
"At least don't keep calling the Divine Envoy; it scares ," Suming said, keeping a safe distance from him, afraid the guy might pull another crafty trick. He no longer had an energy storage ball on him that could ward off fire.
Speaking of divine-related matters, Alayi regained so of his wisdom, spoke through his gapped front teeth with a whistle, "All right, I'll call you Sir for the ti being. You keep saying you're not a Divine Envoy? Then how can you prove it?"
Suming was on the verge of losing it, pointing to his nose, "Not being a Divine Envoy, I still have to prove it? Are the billions of people in the world supposed to prove one by one they're not Divine Envoys?"
"That's right, there are billions of people in the world, but only you have walked out of the flas unhard!" Alayi revealed a crafty smile, "Besides, you have proven this more than once."
"Maybe next ti, I'll get burned to death," Suming deliberately administered a preventive asure, as he certainly did not want to be constantly on guard against fire.
"No, there will never be a next ti. A god will reveal His mighty power to lead those who believe in Him to the right path. But the power of a god is not for show, nor is it to be doubted! God has given the Lure People two hints now. If I still don't believe, it would be disrespectful to the divine," Alayi proclaid, pressing his hand to his chest.
"Looks like I'm stuck being a Divine Envoy, whether I admit it or not," Suming squeezed out a bitter smile.
However, that bitter smile was just for Alayi to see.
He couldn't openly admit he was a Divine Envoy, as that would lead to a series of passive consequences and continuous scrutiny and trials; but finding himself among a group of religious fanatics, nearly burnt to death, the best way to ensure his own safety and even recover his 'capital' was to make the others firmly believe he was the Divine Envoy.
"But didn't Amir say that the apostle of Mazda cos from both the ice spring and the flas? Just being unafraid of fire doesn't necessarily make one a Divine Envoy, right?" Ludmila suddenly interjected.
Suming felt like strangling this big-chested girl!
Everything was fine, why bring up the ice spring — was her brain stuck in her chest or what?!
As expected, Alayi nodded, "Yes, you have shown the power of flas. Next, following the sacred texts, I will arrange the Ice Spring Ceremony for you."
