Dave dodged with minimal movents and imdiately rushed toward an open area.
Watching this, Sage Sticks felt overwheld. Alex's attack speed was 0.25 seconds per shot, aning he could fire four bullets per second. It was nearly impossible for an ordinary player to react to such an onslaught—especially since guns had the highest accuracy of all weapons.
Yet, Dave had dodged every single shot.
"How extraordinary..." Sticks muttered, watching Dave secure the high ground.
Without wasting ti, Dave launched Magic Missiles while closing the distance.

Alex, now a Death Knight, had lost his reasoning, but his past combat skills remained fully intact. As soon as Dave got close, Alex swiftly converted his magic-engineered gun into a sword and countered the attack.

Dave looked at the Death Knight and admired it.
A Death Knight without its owner—that was the identity of all the past legends guarding the islands in the 60s. Their weakness was that they could only use basic skills, but even so... a legend was still a legend.

A pillar of light descended from the sky, washing over the desolate 62nd island. Grass and flowers blood instantly, replacing the lifeless battlefield.
"Hah..."
Dave exhaled deeply, feeling the tension finally leave his body.
"That was overwhelming."
"Dave! Thank you, Dave!"
Sticks called out, his voice filled with relief and admiration.
Sticks made a fuss as he ca running from afar, his voice filled with excitent. Beside him, the tiny fairy Bini flapped his wings energetically, his eyes shimring with joy.
As they stood before the now purified 62nd island, a sense of nostalgia washed over them.
"We're witnessing a miracle," Sticks murmured, his voice trembling.
For too long, Behen Archipelago had been a land of despair, a place where forgotten legends were reduced to mindless guardians and adventurers t their doom. But now, one by one, the islands were being cleansed and restored.
Bini's wings fluttered excitedly. "We're getting closer, Sticks! Closer to bringing back the hopes and dreams we thought were lost forever!"
Sticks clenched his fists, determination burning in his eyes as he looked at Dave.
"You're truly incredible, Dave. With your strength, we might just restore Behen Archipelago completely!"
"Sticks, I can see why you believed I could clear Behen Archipelago. Demon Slayer Alex couldn't use any of his original skills."
"That's correct," Sticks nodded. "The legendary death knights here are far weaker than they were in life. But ever since their master, Pagma, disappeared, they've beco even weaker. To be honest, calling them legends now is a bit shaful. That's why I believed you could defeat them."
Dave nodded as he checked the loot. While he was going through the items, Sticks spoke again.
"The death knights here may be weakened versions of their forr selves, but rember, they were once legends. Even in this state, very few among the living could defeat them." His gaze was serious as he continued, "Please don't misunderstand . The reason I believed in you wasn't because I underestimated the death knights. I trusted your skills. I've told you before, and I'll say it again—you're a great person, Dave. Take pride in that."
Dave chuckled and waved his hand dismissively. "I'm not feeling sad at all."
It was absurd to feel disappointed. Legends were those who had reached the pinnacle of their fields. Even in their diminished state, losing to them was nothing to be ashad of. But Dave?
He wasn't just so warrior trying to prove himself.
He was becoming a True Legend.
