" this is good" Dave mumbled as he wore the ring on his finger.
"Let's go and see if that guy is here too," he mumbled, then nodded.
In both City 15 and City 14, they had found Braham's soul.
From City 15, he had obtained Braham's Gloves, which he gave to Elira.
From City 14, he had obtained Braham's Ring—a powerful ring that granted 300 Intelligence and also provided the skill Mana Shield.
Now, he is going to see if he is in this City too or not.
They walked deep into the cave, behind the last building, and sent a vampire familiar inside to trigger any traps. Once the traps were cleared, they found a coffin this ti, instead of the usual three treasure chests.
"Huh?" Dave muttered, as Diana said, "This is new."
"Is this Brahm's body this ti?" Boa asked.
At that mont, Braham's soul erged from the coffin.
"Who are you?" he asked, looking at them.
"Yo, we et again," Dave said casually as he asked about the three treasure chests.
"where are the Treasure chest this ti," he said, and Brahm looked at him, intrigued.
Braham's soul had already fragnted into multiple pieces, each hidden separately—they have encountered two of them, one in the 15th city, another in the 14th city, and now this one.
"Hmm, so you've encountered two more of my soul fragnts?" Brahm asked.
"Yeah, in City 15 and City 14," Dave replied.
Braham nodded. "what a Pity, there is no rewards this ti." he said.
"But," he added, "I might be able to pass on one of my personal spells if you can defeat my disciple here."
Just as he spoke, a dark presence filled the cave. A Lich erged from the coffin.
"That's Mumud," Dave said, recognizing the na instantly.
"Yes, he was the best disciple of mine," Brahm admitted.
"So best that you betrayed your best disciple and used his magic achievents as your own?" Dave smirked.
Braham's expression darkened as he clenched his fists. "What did you say?" he growled.
"My friend is in the Siren Kingdom, she knows everything. You tricked him, stole Mumud's magic, and published it as your own. What a despicable move," Dave said.
"You cannot leave here alive!" Brahm declared, as he commanded Mumud's Lich to attack.
Mumud's Lich hesitated briefly before moving forward. He was powerful, but weakened after centuries of being controlled. And since this was an closed cave, that didn't give Mumud much chance to made his distance and chant his spells, Dave defeated him easily.
As he destroyed the Lich, a soul suddenly erged from Mumud's body.
[ "Thank you..." ]
Mumud's soul appeared briefly before fading away.
A system notification popped up.
[ You have acquired the title: 'Liberator of Mumud' ]
"You... do you have any fucking idea what you're doing?" Braham's soul shouted as he suddenly trapped Mumud's soul once again.
"Why are you not even letting him go?" Dave questioned.
"Hmph, I am atoning for my sins," Braham responded. "The Hell is distorted... if he goes there, he will end up a slave to the demons. But this guy doesn't believe ."
" I wouldn't too after your betrayal" Dave replied while Braham just snorted and focused on trapping Mumud Soul.
Braham sealed Mumud's soul back inside the coffin.
"How can I believe you?" Dave asked.
"You are the descendant of Madra, a peerless talent and you are strong too. I cannot do anything to you," Braham admitted.
"So, you can take this coffin if you want. That way you can believe ," he added.
As Braham's soul began to fade, a glowing skill book suddenly appeared behind him.
"He really kept his word," Dave muttered as he picked up the skill book.
[ Magic Missile (Enhanced) ]
A magic missile developed by the legendary great magician, who completely overturned the standard activation formula.

Dave learned the skill on the spot. It was a great skill, and after that, he walked toward the coffin and opened it.

"No, Braham left you with ," Dave replied. "He said you don't belong with him, that Hell is distorted, and that he is atoning for his sins by protecting you."
[ That guy is a liar. Don't believe him. ]
[ He only wanted to use , even after my death. ] Mumud said.
Dave nodded. "Yes, but what if he's telling the truth? What if Hell really is distorted, and that's the reason why his own soul hasn't moved on either?"
Mumud's soul fell silent.
[ What should I do then...? I just need peace and rest. ] Mumud sighed.
"You can stay with ," Dave said. "There's another restless soul I know—the soul of Madra. He was my last ntor. You can reside in the sa place as him, watch my adventures, and even teach if you want."
Mumud's soul looked at him for a mont before responding.
[ You are my saviour. I guess I can fulfill this wish of yours. ]
With that, Mumud's soul rged into a ring inside the coffin.

"It would be better to find out if Hell is truly distorted or not, then you should leave" Dave said.
Mumud nodded in agreent before falling silent.
