Looking at Eugene's corpse lying limply on the ground, everyone was dumbfounded.

Eugene's eyes were filled with disbelief, unwillingness, and a deep-seated fear as he fell painfully to the ground.

He never dread that Lin Chen would actually dare to kill him. After all, his father was the president of the Phantom Society, and he was the future heir to the organization.

What was supposed to be a training mission ended with his death in China.

Staring at the corpse on the ground, everyone's faces were filled with uncontainable terror.

Eugene was dead.

The subordinates Eugene had brought all wore expressions of intense fear and disbelief.

Everyone knew no one dared to provoke the Phantom Society. No matter how ruthless they were, just hearing the Society's na would make them step back. Killing a core mber—this was the act of a madman.

Everyone looked at Lin Chen with horror, as though they were staring at a demon. Their faces betrayed a mixture of fear and dread they couldn't suppress.

Since its founding, no core mber of the Phantom Society had ever been killed.

But Lin Chen tore open that precedent, and the one he killed was the son of the Society's president.

There was no need to ask; this young man in front of them would undoubtedly beco the target of the Phantom Society's relentless revenge.

By now, Li ng had already collapsed onto the ground in fear, a foul stench emanating from between his legs.

Looking at Eugene's corpse, his scalp tingled as his entire body trembled.

Initially, Li ng thought that by relying on Eugene, he could reach the pinnacle of success and might even have a chance to control the dicine Sect.

When he encountered Lin Chen here, he had been ecstatic, believing he finally had an opportunity to kill Lin Chen and avenge his past grievances.

But now he finally realized: Lin Chen was simply a demon, a lunatic.

This man feared nothing; if you crossed him, there was only one outco—death or despair.

Now he deeply regretted provoking this demonic Lin Chen.

Li ng stood up and tried to run.

But after just two steps, he felt pain in his calf. A bloodstained dagger had pierced into his leg.

"Ah!"

With a heartrending scream, Li ng fell to the ground with a thud.

He struggled to get up, but a large foot pinned him down on his back.

"Young Master Li, did I say you could leave?"

Lin Chen stared mockingly at Li ng, his face full of playful disdain as he spoke.

At this mont, Li ng's mind was collapsing in fear. He looked at Lin Chen as if gazing upon a devil and begged continuously, "Young Master Lin, I'm wrong. Please spare ! I won't dare to cross you again. Just treat

like a fart and let

go!"

Li ng's entire body trembled, his eyes filled with terror, as he knelt before Lin Chen, repeatedly kowtowing and pleading for rcy.

"Young Master Lin, I, Li ng, was blind before. I'll never dare defy you again. From now on, I'll go into hiding and never show my face in the martial arts world again."

Glancing at Eugene's corpse on the side, Li ng shivered like a leaf. Even the son of the Phantom Society's president had been so effortlessly killed by Lin Chen. Compared to Eugene, he was nothing. For Lin Chen, killing him would be as easy as crushing a bug.

As Lin Chen looked at the kowtowing Li ng, his eyes turned icy cold.

"Li ng, born of China, yet you served as a lapdog for foreigners. A disciple of the dicine Sect but betraying your peers—how dare you ask

for rcy? Have you asked the souls of those Chinese brothers and sisters, the disciples, and elders of the dicine Sect that you hard, whether they would agree?"

Staring at Li ng kneeling and incessantly begging for forgiveness, Lin Chen's gaze showed no shred of pity. Instead, his expression brimd with contempt and loathing.

"I-I'll never dare again!" Li ng stamred, his voice trembling.

"Again? There will be no 'again' for you!" Lin Chen's expression turned icy. With a flick of his wrist, five silver needles shot out, piercing into Li ng's body.

Li ng's face imdiately contorted, and waves of excruciating pain coursed through his body.

"Ah! Ah! Ah!"

Li ng let out blood-curdling shrieks, collapsing into a limp heap like a puddle of mud.

At this mont, his face was hideous and twisted. Clearly, he was enduring excruciating agony.

Witnessing this scene, everyone else displayed expressions of fear and unease on their faces.

Li ng's current state was horrifying and pitiful. He felt as though countless ants were tearing into his flesh. He wanted to scream, but he couldn't. He wanted to struggle, but he couldn't move an inch.

Eventually, Li ng's body convulsed a few more tis before falling completely still.

The jungle fell silent. Everyone knew this hapless man had been tortured to death by indescribable pain.

After dealing with Li ng, Lin Chen's gaze shifted to the remaining dozen Martial Artists.

Most of them were at the foundational Dan Yuan realm, and now they were all trembling uncontrollably.

"Mr. Lin, we were only following orders. We've never killed a single Chinese soul while in China. Please, spare us!"

The remaining Martial Artists trembled, dropping to their knees with thuds, begging Lin Chen for rcy.

Lin Chen's icy gaze swept over them as he coldly declared, "I don't care if you're with the Phantom Society, the Blood Clan, or the Crusade. If you dare act recklessly on Chinese soil, today's scene will be your fate. I'll give you two hours to leave China, and don't ever return. If I see you here again, I won't show rcy."

As his words fell, Lin Chen waved his hand, and a burst of flas shot out. In an instant, a massive tree, requiring several people to encircle it, turned to ash.

"Y-yes, Mr. Lin, we understand." The Martial Artists nodded fervently.

"Now scram." Lin Chen waved dismissively.

The Martial Artists scattered as though receiving an amnesty, rushing out of the forest as fast as they could.

As the jungle returned to silence, Lin Chen turned to look at Feifei, who was staring dumbly at him. With a faint smile, he said, "Why are you looking at

like that? Could it be that you've fallen for ?"

"Who's fallen for you!" Feifei's cheeks flushed as she hastily denied it.

Lin Chen laughed, "Give

your hand; I'll help you detoxify the poison in your body."

Although slightly embarrassed, Feifei still extended her hand to Lin Chen.

As he took her smooth, delicate hand, Lin Chen's heart trembled slightly.

At that mont, Feifei's gaze t Lin Chen's. Her flushed face was tinged with shyness.

Steadying himself, Lin Chen channeled waves of life energy through his hands into Feifei's body, quickly neutralizing the poison within her.

Feifei could feel that the toxins in her body were gone, yet Lin Chen still didn't let go of her hand.

Instead of pulling away, she gently tightened her grip on Lin Chen's hand.

The jungle was tranquil. The two of them sat on a mossy stone in the forest, chatting and laughing as though the earlier bloodshed had never happened.

A ray of sunlight filtered through the gaps in the trees, illuminating the forest. At so point, Feifei had fallen asleep leaning against Lin Chen.

Soon, Feifei opened her eyes and found herself nestled in Lin Chen's embrace. Blushing furiously, she quickly pushed away from him in flustered embarrassnt.

Lin Chen chuckled, "It's morning. What are your plans now?"

"I need to return this box to the dicine Sect," Feifei replied.

"Alright. Be careful on your way," Lin Chen nodded.

Feifei took a few steps before suddenly turning back to ask, "Aren't you curious about the secret inside this box?"
