Seeing their commander knocked unconscious, the color drained from the faces of the soldiers following him.
Lin Chen said coldly, "If you want to arrest soone, bring an arrest warrant, otherwise don't think about taking anyone from here."
The soldiers looked at the fallen officer, knew they were no match for Lin Chen, and helped the injured officer leave.
Lin Chen glanced at Liu Ruyan and said coldly, "You're coming with ."
Liu Ruyan followed Lin Chen into the car, and he drove a long distance before finally stopping in a secluded area.
"Now you can tell
what exactly is going on," Lin Chen said coldly.
Liu Ruyan glanced at Lin Chen and snorted coldly, "You are with the special group, just another puppet of the military, trying to trick
into talking, but you won't succeed."
Hearing Liu Ruyan's self-assured remark, Lin Chen was speechless and then said, "That day you ntioned your master died, it must have been Mr. Xia, right?"
"How did you know that?" Liu Ruyan's expression changed, and she looked at Lin Chen in surprise.
Lin Chen looked at Liu Ruyan and said lightly, "I was there when Mr. Xia died."
"What? You killed my master?" Liu Ruyan lunged at Lin Chen as if she had gone mad.
Lin Chen, exasperated by this unintelligent beauty, quickly grabbed her hands, "Calm down, Mr. Xia was my friend. I was going to save him but arrived a few minutes too late."
"Why should I believe you?" Liu Ruyan said coldly.
Lin Chen thought for a mont, "You know Xia Ruoyu, right?"
"Of course, we are best friends; I certainly know her. Do you know where she is?" Liu Ruyan exclaid excitedly.
Lin Chen nodded, "She is in a very safe place. Now let
give her a call, and you can talk to her."
Saying this, Lin Chen dialed Xia Ruoyu's number.
"Ruoyu? It's Lin Chen. I've found your father's disciple, Liu Ruyan," Lin Chen said.
"Is that Liu Ruyan? That's great, I thought she was in danger," Xia Ruoyu said excitedly.
Lin Chen handed the phone to Liu Ruyan, and the two won talked for a long ti before hanging up.
"Do you believe
now?" Lin Chen said.
Liu Ruyan nodded and said, "Yes, Mr. Lin, can you help
avenge my master?"
Lin Chen shook his head, "The waters here are too deep, and being from Huaxia, I do not wish to involve myself in other countries' affairs."

"An immortal army!" Hearing Liu Ruyan's words, Lin Chen was shocked again.

Suddenly, his phone rang, and through the connection ca his daughter Sha Li's voice: "Daddy, aren't you coming ho for dinner tonight? Mommy and I miss you so much."
Listening to the voice on the phone, Sha Kun chuckled and said, "Be good, my baby, I miss you and Mommy too. Once Daddy is done with work, I'll co ho and even buy you your favorite dessert, okay?"
"Okay, then I'll wait for you to co back," Sha Li said happily.
Then the phone was passed over, and his wife's voice ca through: "Sha Kun, tomorrow is Father's Day. The kindergarten wants dad to attend a program; other kids' dads are participating. Can you take a half-day off to surprise her? She talks about missing you all the ti."
Sha Kun nodded, "Alright, I'll definitely take leave and go to the activity to surprise our daughter."
Hearing Sha Kun agree to her request, his wife was as delighted as a child: "It's a promise then, you better not stand us up!"

Sha Kun looked at the picture, a sweet smile crossing his lips.
Calming his mind, Sha Kun buried himself back in the piles of docunts.
However, after looking for half the day without any breakthrough, he rubbed his temples and suddenly his gaze fell upon a map hanging on the wall.
Suddenly, his eyes lit up, he stood up, took out a pen, and connected several points on the map.
"So, that's it, how did I not see it before." Sha Kun excitedly looked at the map.
"Clap, clap, clap!"
Just then, sudden clapping echoed from behind Sha Kun.
"Mr. Sha Kun is indeed a genius, to have discovered our secret."
Upon hearing that voice, Sha Kun's face turned grim.
He sharply turned around, looking behind him.
Standing behind Sha Kun was an enchantingly beautiful woman, who mockingly looked at him, her eyes brimming with murderous intent.
"Who are you?" Sha Kun asked coldly, his hand on his sidearm.
"My na is Pan La, hehe, to be precise, a beauty. How about it, do you find
attractive, charming, feel any urge to sleep with ?" Pan La gently lifted her leg and even unbuttoned her top, sitting in various provocative poses.
"I'm sorry, in my heart, there is only one person who is the most beautiful, and that is my wife," Sha Kun said calmly.
"You really are a good man, huh? Not many n can resist my allure. I had thought to let you die a pleasurable death, but since that's the case, I'll just have to kill you outright."
