"Haha, isn't that just a junior badge?"
"Damn, is this guy here to joke around? Strutting into the Martial Arts Alliance of Huaxia with a junior badge!"
Jeers echoed from the surroundings.
"Without a mbership card, no one is allowed to set foot in the Martial Arts Club of Huaxia."
The security guard's voice was ice-cold, with an undeniable tone.
Lin Chen was stunned for a mont; he had not expected such strict hierarchy within the Martial Arts Alliance.
"Haha, this is killing , lowly is as lowly does, brandishing a junior badge and making a fool of himself." Zhou Jun mockingly ridiculed from the side.
"Exactly, not even knowing his place, as if soone of his lowly status could co to such a high-end, prestigious place?" Li Hui also sneered from the side.
Hearing their mockery, a chill crossed Lin Chen's face, "It seems the slap I just gave was too light, as your itch seems to be back so soon afterward."
Zhou Jun and Li Hui's faces turned unsightly at Lin Chen's words, their eyes flashing with a cold light.
"Hmph, just enjoying a mont of verbal satisfaction. We are now mbers of the Martial Arts Club of Huaxia, and you? What are you? Can't even get through the door. Better roll back to the countryside and farm," Zhou Jun sneered.
"That's right, kid, just you wait. Once we activate our bloodlines, we'll beat you black and blue," Li Hui gloated with a sneer.
Laughter rose from the crowd. Everyone here belonged to major clans, and in their bones, they looked down upon soone like Lin Chen. Lin Chen had slapped Zhou Jun's face earlier, which had upset these self-entitled scions, but now they had finally regained face, which restored their sense of superiority as nobles.
"If even rubbish like you can enter, who says he can't?" An icy voice suddenly cut through.
"Who's spouting nonsense!" Zhou Jun's face turned cold at the sound.
"I'm saying it, you have a problem with that?" Bing Ling lightly stepped to Lin Chen's side.
"Hmph, who do you think you are? Think you can just waltz in because you say so? Ridiculous! Do you think you own the Martial Arts Alliance of Huaxia? Idiot!" Li Hui glared at Bing Ling with a sneer.
"Slap!"
Before Li Hui's words had even finished, a resounding slap landed on her face.
"You, you dare to hit ." Li Hui stood in shock, holding her swollen cheek.
This was the Martial Arts Alliance, and yet this woman dared to openly hit her.
"Your mouth is offensive; it deserved to be slapped," Bing Ling spoke calmly and casually.
The dozing elder nearby took notice of Bing Ling, and his gaze sharpened as he quickly approached.
Seeing the elder, Li Hui looked at him as though he was her savior, "Elder Yue, she actually dares to hit soone openly in the clubhouse! Quickly throw her out!"
Elder Yue, seeing Bing Ling, was initially taken aback, then his murky old eyes suddenly sparkled.
"Elder Yue, according to the clubhouse rules, those who fight must be expelled," Zhou Jun reminded from the side.
"All of you, shut up! Say one more word and I'll have you get out imdiately," Elder Yue suddenly snapped, glaring at the two.
Zhou Jun and Li Hui were stunned; Bing Ling was the one who had hit soone, yet the elder was lashing out at them.
The scene that unfolded next was even more astonishing to them, as Elder Yue actually approached Bing Ling and bowed slightly, "You must be Miss Bing Ling from Kunlun, this old man has been awaiting your arrival for a long ti."
"Kunlun!" Upon hearing that na, Zhou Jun and Li Hui felt as if they had been struck by lightning, shocked that this woman could be from Kunlun.
What surprised them even more was Elder Yue's courteous approach toward her.
Bing Ling snorted and pointed at Lin Chen, "He's with ; can he, or can he not, enter?"
"Of course, you can enter," the old man said with a dry laugh.
At this mont, Zhou Jun and Li Hui were almost dumbfounded. How could it be possible that this young and beautiful woman ca from Kunlun, and this guy dressed in bargain market clothes had such a formidable backing?
Bing Ling walked up to Li Hui, "The slap I gave you just now, did I have the right to slap you?"
Li Hui's face turned pale. Although their Li family was one of the four great families of the Capital City, Kunlun was a force they could not afford to provoke. A re flick of their fingers was enough to wipe out her family.
"Just now, I was blind and offended the young lady. I deserved to be slapped," Li Hui said with a trembling voice.
"Hmph! As long as you know," Bing Ling snorted coldly and no longer paid attention to the two of them as she led Lin Chen into the Martial Arts Alliance.
"My god, that girl actually cos from Kunlun!"
"Even Old Yue is so polite to her!"
"Of course, Kunlun is a super behemoth in Huaxia!"
"No wonder that kid is so arrogant. He's got the big Kunlun mountain supporting him!"
Amidst the whispered discussions of the crowd, Lin Chen followed Bing Ling into the Martial Arts Alliance of Huaxia.
Walking through the narrow corridor, the view suddenly opened up.
Lin Chen found himself facing a huge training arena.
In the center of the field stood nearly a hundred young n and won from various Huaxia families.
The activation of one's bloodline was crucial for continuing one's cultivation in the future and even more so for the achievents one could attain. However, the chances of activating one's bloodline were extrely low; it would be remarkable if one out of ten succeeded.
Those who activated their bloodline had a bright future ahead of them, becoming the pillars of their families, and even had the chance to enter the major sects and beco a leader. If they failed, their cultivation would stagnate, or they might even fall to the middle or lower class of the family.
Therefore, the faces of these youngsters were fraught with anxiety, and their facial expressions were sowhat tense.
In the middle of the square stood a huge crystal orb, from which a faint wave of Spiritual Power emanated.
On the high platform to the left of the square sat many people. Thanks to the old man's introduction, Lin Chen realized these were Clan Leaders from the major Huaxia families and so influential figures from the Capital City.
Looking at the central area of the stands, the Clan Leaders of the Zhou, Li, Xue, and Chen families were conspicuously present.
Lin Chen's eyes narrowed slightly; the splendor of these four families today was built upon the blood of the Lin family.
This vengeance must be avenged. Lin Chen clenched his fist tightly.
"Miss Bing Ling, you and this gentleman, please take a seat in the VIP area," Old Yue politely said.
"He is here to activate his bloodline; there is no need for the VIP area," Bing Ling said indifferently.
"This is..." Upon hearing Bing Ling's words, a troubled look appeared on Old Yue's face.
"Miss Bing Ling, those who participate in the bloodline activation have all been carefully selected by the major families. I'm afraid this does not comply with the rules," he said.
"As far as I know, as long as you defeat any individual here, you gain the qualification for activation, right?" Bing Ling stated flatly.
"That is indeed possible, but those who co here are all top geniuses from various families. It won't be easy to gain that qualification!" Old Yue glanced at Lin Chen.
Although Lin Chen's performance had been impressive before, Zhou Jun had been sowhat careless and had not used Spiritual Energy, so in his eyes, Lin Chen was little more than brute strength.
"How about this, I will arrange for Mr. Lin to face a slightly weaker descendant," Old Yue said, trying to please, knowing that Bing Ling was not easy to offend.
"No need, just arrange that guy I slapped earlier," Lin Chen said lightly.
