Lin Chen saw the countdown changing continuously within the system, and he started feeling nervous.

If he failed to complete the task and Divine Skills were taken back, the consequences would be severe.

Even though he was in a hospital, it wasn't easy to imdiately find a patient on the verge of death.

Lin Chen aimlessly walked around the hospital, searching for a target.

He had considered several patients already, but the system deed them unsuitable for revival, so he had to give up.

"System, that person just now was clearly in critical condition, yet still doesn't et the criteria?" Lin Chen asked, sowhat dissatisfied.

"Host, to revive from the dead, the patient must be on the brink of death and only considered saved if they can be rejuvenated through your treatnt," the system replied.

"This is way too harsh, System, can't we just have so fun anymore!" Fifteen minutes had already passed, and yet the target still hadn't appeared, making Lin Chen anxious.

Unwittingly, Lin Chen found himself at the entrance of the ergency room when suddenly he saw a familiar figure sitting on the stairs, sobbing.

Lin Chen imdiately recognized the crying girl as his classmate, Zhou Yufei.

"Yu Fei, what's wrong?" Lin Chen walked over and asked.

Zhou Yufei looked up at Lin Chen and said sorrowfully, "My dad had a car accident, he's severely injured, and they are rescuing him inside."

Lin Chen looked at Zhou Yufei's swollen eyes and felt a pang of heartache.

Zhou Yufei was a very strong-willed girl at school, beautiful and academically gifted. Rumor had it that she was a governnt official's daughter, which made her very popular among the boys.

In the ranking of the four campus beauties, Zhao Xiaowen was second, while Zhou Yufei was first.

Zhou Yufei surpassed Zhao Xiaowen mainly because of her family background and because she had a gentler personality, unlike the sowhat aloof Zhao Xiaowen. She was also very warm toward her classmates, which made her extrely popular at school.

"Don't worry, your uncle will be fine," Lin Chen said as he handed Zhou Yufei a tissue to comfort her.

"Thank you," Zhou Yufei said, wiping her tears, feeling a lot better with soone comforting her.

Just then, the lights in the operating room went out, and Zhou Yufei hurriedly stood up and ran towards the operating room entrance.

Lin Chen followed after her, as he possessed the legacy of Divine Skills and could be of help in case of any accidents.

The people gathered at the operating room door were all dressed very respectfully, each emitting an aura of power.

As the operating room door opened and several doctors ca out,

"Doctor, how is my dad?" Zhou Yufei rushed over.

"Xiaofei, don't panic. Let's hear what the doctor has to say," a dignified middle-aged man advised.

The leading doctor, an elderly man with graying hair, took off his mask and sighed, "Mr. Li, Mr. Zhou has a brain hemorrhage, the situation is very serious. Though we've done our best, I'm afraid..."

Even though he did not finish his sentence, everyone understood what he ant by "I'm afraid."

"Is the dical technology in the city insufficient? If necessary, let's transfer to a provincial hospital. Mr. Zhou had a car accident, and you must think of a way no matter what," Mr. Li said anxiously.

"Mr. Li, there's no ti, Mr. Zhou probably won't last that long," the doctor shook his head.

"Doctor, you must save my father, please," Zhou Yufei suddenly pleaded desperately, embracing the doctor.

This scene deeply moved everyone present, and they were taken aback by the turn of events.

"Yu Fei, don't be impulsive, there will be a way," Lin Chen advised from the side.

"Lin Chen, Dad is my only family, I cannot lose him." Zhou Yufei rushed into Lin Chen's arms, tears streaming down like rain.

If it had been before, Zhou Yufei rushing into his arms would have made Lin Chen incredibly happy, but now his mood was very heavy.

Zhou Yu Fei had lost her mother when she was very young, and it was her father who had raised her single-handedly. Because of his busy work, he spent little ti with her, which cultivated her independent character.

But now, if her father was gone as well, Lin Chen could not imagine the impact it would have on a girl of only eighteen.

With Lin Chen's support, Zhou Yufei approached the hospital bed, knelt down with a thud, grabbed her father's hand, and tears flowed uncontrollably.

"Dad, you promised , once I get admitted to Tsinghua University you'd take

to Disney in Shanghai, you said you'd watch

wear a wedding dress. You always told

you were busy, busy, busy. You promised to make it up to , to be there for , how can you not keep your word..."

Lin Chen stood aside, listening to Zhou Yufei's words, his eyes could not help but moisten, and he felt even more respect for Zhou Yufei's father.

Yet he had neglected his own daughter, he had given his love to this city, but left insurmountable regret with his own child.

Lin Chen's gaze fell on the figure lying on the hospital bed, Mr. Zhou, when suddenly a treatnt plan involving acupuncture flashed through his mind.

In fact, whenever Lin Chen took soone's pulse, it was only for show. Whenever he encountered a patient, the system would perform an automatic scan of the person's entire body and then provide the optimal treatnt plan for him.

Lin Chen once asked the system if this Divine Skills Herbology was an earthly heritage, and the result surprised him.

Divine Skills Herbology carried the heritage of interstellar dical arts, therefore what seed like very simple massage techniques were actually the crystallization of wisdom possibly billions of light-years old.

"Everyone, please step out, let Yu Fei spend so quality ti with her father," Mr. Li sighed and said.

It was clear to all that Mr. Zhou might lose his life at any mont, and all they could do was to allow Zhou Yufei a little quiet ti with her father.

"Wait a mont!" Just then, a sudden voice rang out.

"You are..." Mr. Li was taken aback for a mont, turning his gaze towards Lin Chen who had spoken.

"I am Yufei's classmate, perhaps I can save Uncle Zhou," Lin Chen said earnestly.

The hospital room suddenly fell silent, and a glimr of hope flashed across people's hearts.

But when everyone's gaze fell on Lin Chen's youthful face, all could only helplessly shake their heads.

If a doctor in the room had spoken, perhaps hope could have been ignited, yet it was the boyish-faced Lin Chen who had spoken.

Mr. Li patted Lin Chen on the shoulder: "Young student, your intent is good, but the doctors have already said, Mr. Zhou is... let's all step out, please."

"Mr. Li, please let

try," Lin Chen still urged.

Mr. Li turned his gaze toward the senior doctor who had just spoken. He was the head of DY Hospital and an authoritative figure in DY city's dical scene.

Dean Tian shook his head: "Young man, stop making trouble, even the most authoritative experts in the country would scarcely be able to save Mr. Zhou."

"Mr. Li, please let

try, there is still hope for Uncle Zhou now, but if we delay a few more minutes, it may truly be too late." Lin Chen, seeing the life energy fading from Mr. Zhou, grew anxious.

Seeing Lin Chen's persistence, Mr. Li's expression grew stern: "Secretary Wu, please escort this student out."

"Wait a minute, he might really be able to do sothing." Accompanied by a crisp voice, Su Yun walked in.

"Su Yun, what nonsense are you talking about? Can you take responsibility if sothing goes wrong?" Dean Tian scolded.

"Dean, he just used massage techniques to cure one of my patients with heart disease, it was really miraculous," Su Yun recalled the recent event, still finding it unbelievable.

"Massage can treat heart disease, that's absurd," Dean Tian, a ticulous person, was furious at hearing this unreliable claim.

At that mont, Zhou Yufei stood up, walked up to Lin Chen: "Lin Chen, can you really save my father?"

"Let

try, I should have a 99 percent chance of success," Lin Chen pondered for a mont before responding.
