Chapter 850: Chapter 844: This is His Highness (Part 3)_1

At this mont, the expressions on their faces all instantly soured, as Finn Lewis’s speed in answering the questions suggested unquestionable certainty. One must understand that the current exam was not like the ones on Earth, where all the answers could be imdiately seen on the outside.
As soon as Finn Lewis submitted his answers, whether they were correct would be known to the observers outside imdiately. And the entire first literary exam consisted of a full 1,000 questions, covering various topics. Many test-takers in the past would need at least an hour for this section.
But now, Finn Lewis’s pace was astonishingly fast; could it even be a second per question? It seed even faster than that. Many people outside hadn’t even fully grasped the questions when Finn Lewis had already finished answering and submitted them. Although his speed could be attributed to the difference in ti experienced in virtual space compared to reality, it was still incredibly rapid.
At first, there were all sorts of discussions, but as ti passed, the crowd’s mouths hung open in disbelief, unsure of what to say. Are we to believe that with wealth, one’s abilities grow by leaps and bounds? Then explain to how such a dramatic change is possible—damn it! Despite our years of study, although not always dedicatedly, the ti accrued is not negligible, yet they definitely cannot achieve this.
How long has Finn Lewis been at it? Many people even thought he must have begun studying before he arrived, but even if that were the case, wasn’t his performance incredibly impressive for such a brief period? Bear in mind that it hasn’t been long since Finn Lewis inherited the entire Lewis Family or since he beca a royal mber of the Galactic Federation.
...
The span between these events was just a few years. Even if Finn Lewis were to study, it would be during these few years. But such a possibility does not seem significant, because everyone knows how many tasks a family head must undertake, and Finn Lewis is not only a family head but also has found ti to learn these subjects.
Everyone was at a loss for words, but without knowing what to say, they could only watch eagerly. The difficulty level of the 1,000 questions increntally increased, but for Finn Lewis, there was virtually no difference since he had all the information stored in his mind, rendering the difficulty quite low.
Consequently, Finn Lewis quickly passed the exam. When he submitted the answer to the final multiple-choice question, the entire plaza outside erupted in an uproar—damn it, a 100% accuracy rate, is that even possible? Note that an 80% score is sufficient to pass, yet Finn Lewis achieved a perfect 100%.
Only those in this school understood how extraordinary these answers were. Although they didn’t take official exams, they had simulations, which many had tried. Still, very few passed even the first hurdle, let alone entertain the thought of a 100% score. But Finn Lewis accomplished this feat under the watchful eyes of all, and what followed were short-answer and true/false type questions, kind of reminiscent of his high school days. Yet, since he nailed the multiple-choice questions, these short-answer and true/false questions were even simpler. Finn Lewis also passed the exam with a 100% score.
When the cultural course exam was over, all the students outside were truly in an uproar. At that mont, Oswald Wren opened his mouth, temporarily at a loss for words. Despite his inner resistance to Finn Lewis, he couldn’t deny that Finn Lewis was significantly more capable in certain respects.
Without going into detail, Finn Lewis faced many more dangers than Davis, not to ntion that Finn Lewis’s background didn’t reflect soone who was a direct heir to a family, who would typically be vaguely aware of all these rules from a young age. Finn Lewis, on the other hand, had to learn everything later, a difficulty perhaps not apparent to many people.
But consider the difference between learning your mother tongue and a second language, and you’ll grasp the level of difficulty. When a child—a blank slate—learns through subtle influences, it is truly formidable. During this period, a child absorbs an enormous amount of information.
So, one can understand the complexity of Finn Lewis relearning and acquainting himself with the Federation. Oswald Wren, of course, understood, but even so, Finn Lewis completed the exam in such a short ti, and even if it was just a cultural exam, it was still an incredible achievent.
At this mont, the scene before Finn Lewis had completely changed. Witnessing the scenario before him, he suddenly felt like he was back in his childhood, playing arcade gas. Damn, this dilapidated street, along with the only path available, was surely reminiscent of side-scrolling beat ’em up gas from his youth.
Except, now he was the protagonist of such a ga. anwhile, people on the outside perked up, focusing their attention. Cultural knowledge might be surmountable with diligent study, but what followed was not going to be so simple.
Right now, the scenario in front of Finn Lewis hadn’t even started. Instead, there was an introduction explaining the scene. This setting was akin to a virtual simulation directly mapped onto one’s psyche, and Finn Lewis’s task was to beat the bad guys, save the princess—cough, cough, well, the outco was similar.
However, after viewing the introduction to the simulation, Finn Lewis felt sowhat perplexed because the setup reminded him of a movie on Earth, the legendary “The Matrix.” The realism here had no less fidelity than the world depicted in “The Matrix.”
And this was exactly the case. Finn Lewis’s thoughts turned to the protagonist of “The Matrix.” To put it plainly, he recalled that in “The Matrix,” what one could accomplish didn’t depend on one’s physical body but on one’s mind.
Because none of those things actually exist; once you believe you can do sothing, you certainly can. However, if you limit yourself within a certain range, you will find that you’re no different from a normal person.
With that in mind, Finn Lewis turned off the mission prompts for the map, and instead, he looked up at the towering buildings on either side. There were skyscrapers at least a few hundred ters tall—looking as if they were vast walls encircling him.
