Chapter 696: Chapter 690: Bitter Smile
“Damn it, I’ll beat you to death, you jerk.” Hazel Lewis stared, without any hesitation, he hit Finn Lewis with a broom five or six tis before he stopped, pointing the broom at Finn and asking, “Tell where you’ve been lately.”
“I didn’t do anything. I just went out for work,” Finn Lewis explained cautiously.
“Work, work, but you’re unreachable, can’t anyone contact you? Do you no longer need us or what? Just because you’ve earned so money doesn’t an you can do whatever you want. Tell , what’s the story with that Emma Lewis? And tell , are you keeping another woman outside?” Hazel Lewis’s face went bright red and then he stared and asked out loud.
Finn Lewis was a little dumbfounded. How could his old man know about Emma Lewis?
“Do you even call yourself a man?” Seeing Finn Lewis a little dumbfounded, Hazel Lewis couldn’t help but picking up his broom and hitting Finn again.
“Dad, listen to .” After the old man had beaten him a few tis, Finn Lewis grabbed the broom that the old man had swung over and started to speak.
“Alright, explain yourself.” Hazel Lewis let go of the broom he was holding and stared at Finn as he asked.
“Dad, how do you know about Emma? Did she co to see you or make a fuss at our ho?” Finn Lewis asked, thinking that his old man shouldn’t have known about it unless Emma Lewis had raised an issue.
“You want to keep it from , don’t you?” Hearing this, Hazel Lewis’s anger flared up again. Seeing Hazel about to explode, Finn quickly spoke, “Dad, don’t get angry first, just hear out.”
Finn Lewis didn’t dare to ask any more questions, he decided to first explain the background story of Emma Lewis. In fact, there were so coincidences between Finn and Emma. At that ti, Kay Lee was not officially Finn’s girlfriend yet.
And though Finn felt what he had done seed right from his perspective, it was wrong in the eyes of others. So after Finn finished speaking, Hazel Lewis puffed angrily and said, “Well done, Finn, you really have grown up now. You make a good sum of money and all of a sudden beco a big shot. Even if what you say makes sense, that girl has done nothing to bother or provoke you. Since you already have her, why do you bother Kay?”
“Dad, what should I do then?” Finn Lewis imdiately started to act shalessly. When Finn asked this, Hazel Lewis was also a little dumbfounded. If he knew what to do, he wouldn’t have been angry. But the question was, what to do now?
“Dad, how did you find out?” Seeing his old man remained silent, Finn Lewis asked hurriedly.
“How did I find out? You goddamn idiot, you have no idea how much good karma you’ve accumulated in your past life. It’s not that the girl nad Emma ca to stir things up at our house, or ca to find . I heard it accidentally when I went to the company to find Kay. I then knew about this. Both Kay and the girl know about this. But do you know Kay didn’t bla that girl and didn’t bla you? If you were not my son, I would want to kill you.” Hazel Lewis said, his eyes widened.
Finn Lewis was stunned. Kay Lee knew about it. And it seed that she didn’t care about Emma Lewis. Finn Lewis imdiately began to ponder. To be honest, Finn Lewis didn’t have a good solution to this. How could he let Emma Lewis go now? Anyway, he felt uncomfortable with this. But it’s illegal not to let her go in the Fla Nation.
Should he change his nationality? Finn smiled bitterly. If it really didn’t work, he would just have to change his nationality. The problem was that he needed to pacify his old man first.
As Finn was thinking wildly, Hazel Lewis next to him couldn’t help but ask, “What are you thinking?”
Hearing his father ask, Finn Lewis carefully raised his head and glanced at Hazel Lewis, then he said cautiously, “What about… I change my nationality?”
“Change your nationality?” Hazel Lewis’s voice suddenly rose an octave.
Seeing Hazel Lewis about to explode, Finn Lewis knew sothing was wrong. For his father’s generation, especially his two grandfathers who were both rit-worthy soldiers, his father was deeply influenced. Other things could be negotiated, but changing citizenship was out of the question.
“Dad, I can’t just ignore her, can I? I don’t think you would let ignore her, right?” Finn Lewis asked tentatively.
As Finn said, Hazel Lewis was also sowhat conflicted. Because for parents, such thinking is quite strange. His son could find two daughters-in-law. Although Hazel Lewis was extrely angry, if both daughters-in-law had no objections, it would not be unacceptable to the parents.
Although the matter sounds hard to accept, as Finn said, they can’t just ignore it, can they? If the girl didn’t like Finn, it would be easier to handle. But the girl did like Finn and she would not give up. So what should they do?
“You deal with it yourself. But rember, Finn, I don’t mind about Emma, though don’t think you can fool . But let tell you, if I find out that you have any other won outside, I’ll break your legs. Whether you believe it or not, even if the king cos, it won’t work. Don’t tell you’ve t so national middle-aged people or sothing. Even if a middle-aged man cos to plead for you, I will still break your legs.”
“Dad, I know, I dare not.” Finn Lewis quickly responded.
“Alright, I haven’t let Kay know that I know about this. You deal with the rest. But tell , why have you disappeared for three months?”
“Dad, there are so things that I feel I need to tell you and mom. There are actually things I’m hiding from you, but Kay knows. I’m afraid you won’t be able to accept them.” Finn thought that he might have to let his parents know about the aliens, but it was best to cover it up with the spaceship for now.
“What is it?” Upon hearing Finn say this, Hazel didn’t feel angry but sensed that it was probably sothing major.
“Let’s go ho and talk.” Finn thought about it and then said.
This was not the place to talk. Hazel nodded, and only then did he open the door of the garage. Seeing Finn and Hazel coming out of the garage, Fay Wells and Kay Lee, who were waiting at the entrance of the villa, finally breathed a sigh of relief. anwhile, the little girl next to Fay Wells couldn’t resist shouting out excitedly, “Brother!”
