Chapter 666: Chapter 660 – You surprisingly have a lot (Part 2)
“It’s simple, stop, wait here, let contact them, I can guarantee that you can leave freely.” Yuka Young chuckled lightly.
“Heh, I thought as much. Your skills earlier made it clear, you must be a killer of so sort, with so experience in the underworld. Why are you so naive? Do you think I would trust you? You leave us, and then a single shot and our spaceship turns into a debris field? Is that it?” Jasmine Davis snickered, speaking of the Hunter Nation.
“Want to know why I’m being hunted?” Finn Lewis suddenly asked.
“I don’t need to know that, all I need to know is I want you dead.” Yuka Young said casually.
“Oh, we have plenty of ti anyway, you might as well listen. It’s because in my territory there is a huge wealth, a wealth so large you can’t even imagine. To understand how enormous this wealth is, think about the size of the fleet sent to kill . The cost of deploying such a fleet is staggering, you can probably guess. So, here’s the problem.” Finn Lewis spoke calmly.
“… The problem is, as you said, you know how severe the cri is for killing a royal family mber. However, if the royal happens to be killed in a pirate raid, there won’t be any issues. But if I leave with you, and end up in the enemy’s hands, my identity isn’t hard to track. Do you think the pirates, after confirming my presence on this ship, will open fire directly, or would they let you and board their ship? Or in other words, how much do you think you’re worth to your master? One hundred million star credits? Two hundred million? Three hundred million?” Finn Lewis tossed out a few figures casually.
Yuka’s face stiffened at Finn’s narrative. Although Finn didn’t understand most of the Federation’s rules, he understood so. He was certain that regardless of whether this woman had control over him, as soon as those pirates arrived, they would have only one choice – to blow up this small spaceship without any second thought.
“Enough talk! Make your choice now, are you going to listen to ?” Yuka Young spoke coldly.
“Boring.” Finn sighed lightly. Then, he took a deep breath. The Katsumoto Body Protection, which had already been integrated into Finn and bound to his nervous system, surged onto Finn’s skin instantly.
Finn’s body jerked back abruptly, his right hand instantly grabbed the woman’s arm. Although she pressed the dagger in her hand inward when Finn grabbed her arm, unfortunately, bullets were nothing for the Katsumoto Body Protection, let alone a dagger.
With a bang, Finn exhibited a non-human strength. Though this woman was very robust, with Finn holding one of her arms, she had no power to resist. She was swung off her feet by Finn’s incredible strength and crashed heavily onto the control room’s floor, making a dull sound.
Finn didn’t relent. The colossal force of his strike made Yuka Young spit out a mouthful of blood when she hit the floor.
Releasing his grip on her clothes, Finn’s silver skin rapidly returned to normal, leaving everyone in the control room in shock.
“You… you’re a modified human?” Jasmine Davis’s mouth was agape, wide enough to fit a duck egg.
“What’s a modified human?” Finn frowned slightly, asking in a puzzled tone.
“You’re not?” Jasmine Davis looked even more shocked.
“Certainly not. Who’s more ill-inford, you or I who just ca from a primitive planet? That was just a type of body armor.” Finn replied concisely.
“Uh, body armor? Stop kidding.” Jasmine Davis obviously didn’t believe him.
“I’m not joking.” Finn rolled his eyes. Two people had already co up and restrained Yuka Young. Finn glanced at her and asked, “What is a ‘modified human’?”
“Modified humans, cloned and blended from human and animal genes, even those from unique planetary creatures, are warrior individuals who can’t reproduce. They are the main source of soldiers for various Federation families. Dunn Monty and Thomas Calvin are modified humans.” Jasmine Davis explained tersely.
Finn opened his mouth wide in surprise, “Are you saying they’re bred by blending human and animal genes?”
“Correct. They possess imnse individual power, combat will, and professional knowledge of the Super Telecommunications Empire.” Jasmine Davis looked at Finn oddly.
“Well, I’ve learned sothing new.” Finn couldn’t help but comnt. He was finding the Galactic Federation more and more corrupt.
“What do we do with this woman?” Jasmine Davis gestured towards Yuka Young behind Finn.
“It’s up to you. Handle her.” Finn contemplated for a mont before offhandedly handing Yuka Young over to Davis.
“Oh, she’s sohow sending our location information to the outside world. Search her.” Finn suddenly rembered what Luna Starfield had told him and turned back to say.
Jasmine Davis waved her hand. The two people holding Yuka Young imdiately guided her away.
“Wait.” A weak voice rang out. It was Yuka Young.
“What do you want to say?” Finn turned back to look at her.
“Kill , don’t hand over to them.” Yuka Young said firmly, her eyes locked on Finn.
“Damn it! Despite the generous offer, she spurns it! Although I’m a pirate and these people under are pirates too, we never stoop to such low levels. If you spew more nonsense, I’ll let them gang-rape you.” Finn hadn’t said anything, and Jasmine Davis was enraged already.
“Whoa.” Soone imdiately whistled, “I say, Boss, why don’t you reward her to one of us? I’m still without a wife, you see.”
“Get lost! If we give her to you, can you handle her? Don’t spill our beans after. We should all have fun together and get rid of her after that. What do you think, Boss?”
Finn understood Yuka Young’s intentions. He believed Jasmine Davis. Though these people seed a bit indecent, he saw that most of their eyes expressed nothing more than jest, not genuine intentions. Maybe so of them did harbor such thoughts, but none of them showed it. All in all, Jasmine Davis managed them quite well.
Finn pondered for a while then pointed to a nearby chair, saying, “Bring her here.” After that woman had clearly pointed out Finn’s identity, these people more or less feared him. They imdiately brought Yuka Young over and made her sit on the chair Finn had pointed out.
