Chapter 604: Chapter 598: What kind of people are these? (Part II)
Finn Lewis didn’t really care, although he did feel a bit irked by the girl laughing in front of him. However, what she was laughing at was none of his business.
“Jasmine Davis, since you know that his Highness is a mber of the nine-star royal family, you should show him so respect.” Dunn Monty, a little annoyed, stood up from his seat.
However, Dunn stood up quickly but sat down even faster. Jasmine Davis, who was just standing there laughing uproariously, heard Dunn’s remark and without any hesitation, she threw a spinning kick at him. Dunn managed to raise his arms to block, but the kick landed on his arm, forcing him back into his seat.
“It seems like you’re really getting old, and you seem to have forgotten whose territory this is. Don’t forget, from the mont you got on board, your lives were in my hands. I’m helping you out of old acquaintanceship, otherwise, do you think I would risk coming here?” Jasmine Davis sneered at Dunn Monty, and then continued.
“Wow Boss, you had an old fla? ‘Old acquaintanceship’, was she your ex?” The man piloting the spaceship upfront suddenly whistled and couldn’t help but speak out loud.
“Shut up, get lost, or you know the consequences.” Jasmine Davis snapped back imdiately.
“Alright, alright, boss. I’ll keep my mouth shut.” The pilot promptly silenced himself.
After that, Jasmine Davis turned to look at Finn and the others, and then snorted disdainfully. “It’s not that I don’t respect him. Yes, the Lewis Family is the only one in the nine-star royal family, but so what? The family wealth of the Lewis Family was basically sold off a few thousand years ago; what’s left now? Apart from a royal status. Also, it seems that the descendants have all switched to other families. These disgraceful descendants would be better off gone. But speaking of which, is there any descendant of yours among them?”
This last sentence was directed at Finn Lewis, who was exasperated. Damn it, you belittle so much, and now you’re asking if I have descendants. How the hell would I know! Besides, if such a son were to exist, he would be better off dead.
“Aren’t you guys supposed to explain so things to ?” Without responding to Jasmine Davis, Finn Lewis turned to both Dunn Monty and Thomas Calvin and asked bluntly.
Dunn Monty scratched his head awkwardly, thought for a while, then said sowhat hesitantly, “Well, Your Highness, just ask what you want to know. I will tell everything I can.”
“You really don’t know anything?” Jasmine Davis looked at Finn Lewis in astonishnt.
“No, I only know that they said this star system is my private property. They’ll take back to the Milky Way Star Area to inherit my property, and then I would have the right to pardon their cris and allow them to return to the Supervision Bureau.” Finn briefly summarised the agreent the three of them had.
“You want to go back?” Jasmine Davis glanced at Dunn Monty.
“Yes.” Dunn Monty nodded without hesitation.
“I don’t know what’s good about that shabby place. Well, it’s none of my business anyway, but I’ve started to admire you, kid. You’re an aboriginal from a primitive planet. Alright, even though you are royal, that just ans your life’s genetic code is that of the imperial family. You barely know anything, yet you daringly followed them out of your planet. I admire you,” Jasmine Davis gave Finn Lewis a thumbs-up.
Even though Jasmine Davis’ words were tough to bear, she did speak the truth. Finn Lewis really left his planet knowing nothing. However, if Finn Lewis didn’t have his own trump card, he probably would not have dared to follow them in the first place.
“I have so questions to ask. Shouldn’t you guys explain so things to ?” Finn Lewis thought for a mont, then looked at them and asked.
“Just ask. I’m in a good mood today, so I’ll explain a bit to you. But so things are useless to you even if you know them, just treat them as stories to listen to. I must say, I’m quite impressed by how calmly you’ve been taking all this. As for the rest, if you can successfully accept your inheritance, you’re just lucky,” Jasmine Davis said.
Although this woman didn’t say much, Finn Lewis could feel that Jasmine Davis’s attitude towards him had changed slightly. At least, when talking to him, she no longer referred to herself as ‘this old woman’, but simply as ‘I’.
